The Twilight Parable

by Yoshirocks341

A View Outside

Twilight stepped out into the natural light of the sun and gazed out at the town of Ponyville. The buildings’ yellow roofs gleamed in the sunshine, casting a yellowish glow across the town’s marketplace. The sky displayed a deep, rich blue hue over her head. The flowers that were planted around had bloomed in a vast number, throwing sparks of color around in different corners of Twilight’s view.

It is a beautiful view, Twilight thought to herself. It was completely worth the detour.

Twilight suddenly realized something was missing from this scene; ponies. It seemed that nopony was here either.

Ready to get back on track, Twilight took a sharp left to enter the side door of the library, hopefully to discover if Spike had gotten a letter.
