Sonic and Shadow in Equestria 3 The Search For The Crystal Heart

Chapter 9
After the light dimed the projections of Sonic and Shadow as hedgehogs disappeared and Sonic, Shadow, Tails, Nyx, Sunset, and Vinyl's superformes disappeared as well. Everybody looked up on the hilltop and cheered for that Sonic Heroes, even the Rainbooms cheered them when they got up from being blasted off of the hill by the sirens.
"That was awesome," cheered Rainbow Dash.
"Yes, you guys did great," said Rarity.
"That was the best song I've ever heard," said Fluttershy.
"HURRAY FOR THE SONIC HEROES!!!! cheered Pinkie pie.
"Yes, way to go partners," said Applejack.
After getting a congratulations form their friends Sonic, Shadow, Tails, Nyx, and Sunset looked at their friends and smiled.
"We're just glad that you guys are not under the sirens control anymore," said Sonic.
"Yeah, because it was kind of scary to see you guys turned agent us," said Nyx.
When the five of the mane six heard this they had their heads down.
"Hey come on you guys, don't look so down," said Tails.
"Yeah, it wasn't your guys fault it was the sirens' magic that turned you agent us," said Sunset.
"And speaking of the sirens, I think it's time that we see how they got their magic," said Shadow.
With that the Sonic Heroes and the Rainbooms went down the hill, past the cheering students, and finally up on the stage where the Dazzling's were starting to regain conciseness. When they did they saw the Sonic Heroes, the Rainbooms and even the Principals looking at them with anger in their eyes.
"Uh-oh Adagio, I think we're in trouble," said Sonata.
"Oh you three are in more trouble then you think," said Celestia.
Then she turned to the Sonic Heroes and said.
"Sonic Heroes? You have won the battle of the bands and saved us all from these three trouble makers, so there for I present to you the crystal shaped heart."
Then she handed the Crystal Heart to Sonic.
"Alright, the Crystal Heart is in the hands of good again," said Tails.
"Yes and now we can deal with these three," said Shadow.
"Right Shadow, but first Nyx here hold on to the Crystal Heart," said Sonic, as he handed Nyx the Crystal Heart.
After He handed Nyx, the Crystal Heart he turned back to the sirens and said.
"Alright you three tell us how did you get your powers back."
"Ha, if you think we are going to tell you that, then your crazy," said Adagio.
Just then Luna came up to them and looked at them and said in a loud voice that made them close their ears.
"TELL US NOW!!!!"
Before any of the three sirens could speak a voice rang out behind the Rainbooms, the Sonic Heroes and the Principals.
"It was me."
(Danger from Mario and Luigi super saga starts to play)
Suddenly a powerful gust of wind blasted them except for the sirens off of the stage.
"Is every one alright?" Asked Tails.
"I'm alright," said Sunset.
"We're fine too," said Luna and Celestia.
Everyone else nodded as they slowly got up.
"Oh man, what in the world was that anyway?" Asked Sonic, as he rubbed his head.
"I don't know Sonic, but what ever it was I don't think we are going to like it," said Shadow.
"Um guys?" Asked Fluttershy.
As everyone looked at her, she had expression of shock on her face.
"Fluttershy? Are you alright?" Asked Rainbow.
Fluttershy didn't say anything, she just pointed up on the stage. As everyone looked they saw Nyx, with her hand out with an evil smile on her face.
"Nyx? What are you doing darling?" Rarity asked.
Then Applejack spoke up
"Did you make that wind sugarcube?" She asked.
Nyx looked at Applejack and said.
"Yes Applejack, it was me."
Then she looked at Rarity, but this time she spoke in a demonic voice.
"And what I'm doing Rarity, is taking over this world and then after that Equestria."
When Nyx said that in a demonic voice Sonic, Shadow, Tails, the five of the mane six, the Principles, and even the students couldn't believe what they just heard.
"Um Nyx? Why did your voice change?" Asked Pinkie pie.
Then Sonic, stepped forward and said.
"Because that's not Nyx, Pinkie pie."
When Sonic said that Nyx, clapped her hands and said in her demonic voice.
"Very good Sonic the hedgehog, I'm not Nyx."
Suddenly Nyx, rose up from the stage and then smoke came out off her mouth and transformed into a hedgehog.
"It's Chaos Phantom," said Shadow, Sonic, and Tails.
"Ah, so you fools still remember me, I thought you all had forgot about me," he said, with an evil smile on his shadowy face.
"How can we ever forget that ugly smile on your face?" Asked Tails.
"Oh why Tails, I'm hurt now. I thought I was your guys' friend," Chaos said, in Nyx's voice.
Tails looked at Chaos Phantom and said.
"You are not Nyx, so stop using her voice."
Chaos sighed and said.
"Very well, but I think it's time for you all to know that all of this trouble was all because of me."
When Chaos Phantom said that everyone gasped.
"You are?" Asked Fluttershy.
Just then the Dazzling's got up and looked up at Chaos Phantom who still had control over Nyx.
"Yes he was, and now that we have the Crystal Heart we will take over all of Equestria and all of this world," said Adagio.
"That's right," said Sonata.
Chaos Phantom looked at the sirens, and laughed.
"Hey, what's so funny master?" Asked Aria.
"Oh nothing Aria, it's just that I think it's time for you three to give up your life force to me," said Chaos.
Suddenly tentacles came out of Nyx's back and wrapped around the sirens and starting to drain them of they're life force.
"Chaos Phantom? What are you doing to us?" Asked Adagio.
"Yeah? I thought that we were in this together?" Asked Sonata.
Chaos Phantom looked at the Dazzling's and laughed.
"We were, until you three failed to get the Crystal Heart. Now I will take great pleaser of ending you three's miserable life once and for all."
The sirens couldn't believe what they were hearing.
"So, you and your queen just used us to get the Crystal Hart?" Asked Sonata, with tears in her eyes.
"Yes, and now that you three are no use to us anymore I'm going to get rid of you," said Chaos Phantom, as he increased his power to suck the life out of the sirens.
As Sonic, Shadow, and the others looked on Rainbow Dash said in a angry voice.
"Well I hope this will teach those girls a lesion for what they did to us and everyone else."
When everyone heard that they all gasped.
"Now Rainbow, that's not the way to speak," said Rarity.
"She's right Dash, even if they did bad things to us doesn't mean that they disserve to die," said Fluttershy.
"Well it's not going to happen," said Sunset.
Then without another word Sunset ran toward the sirens and grabbed the tentacles and when she did she screamed as she felt her life force leave her as well.
"SUNSET, NO!!!!" They all screamed.
"GET OUT OF THERE NOW!!!!" Shouted Shadow.
Sunset looked at her friends and said in a weaken voice.
"N....no I....I won't l....leave them."
The sirens couldn't believe what they were seeing, Sunset was trying to save them after all the things they had done to her and her friends.
"Why are you sacrificing yourself for us?" Asked Adagio.
Sunset, looked at the sirens and smiled.
"Because, you three are like me. I made some mistakes in my past but now I was given a second chance, and now I'm going to give you three a second chance."
The sirens looked at Sunset and smiled. As Sonic, Shadow and the others looked on Sonic, turned to Tails and asked.
"Tails? Can you find away to free the sirens?"
"I'll try Sonic," said Tail, as he got out his wrist watch and started typing on it.
Soon Tails' watch started to beep.
"I found it Sonic, it's those amulets around their necks they have to destroy them if they have a chance to survive."
When the sirens heard that they had to destroy their amulets they were shocked.
"But we can't destroy our amulets because they hold our power to sing," said Aria.
"But if you don't then you will all be destroyed," said Fluttershy.
"Fluttershy is right, please destroy your amulets now," said Rainbow Dash.
"But, but."
Sonata was about to say something until Adagio spoke up.
"Alright we'll do it."
After hearing that Aria and Sonata, all looked at Adagio.
"But Adagio, if we destroy our amulets," said Sonata.
"I know Sonata, but if it's the only way to survive then so be it," said Adagio.
With that Sonata and Aria nodded at Adagio, then they took off their amulets and then through them as hard as they could on the ground. Then the amulets shattered into a million pieces which made the tentacles that were wrapped around the sirens to disappear.
"Hey, it worked," said Aria.
"Yeah, we're free now," said Adagio.
Then they saw Sunset smiling at them which they returned.
"Aw how sweet this is, you all are fiends now," said Chaos Phantom, who was still in Nyx's body.
"Chaos Phantom, you let Nyx go right now," said Shadow.
Chaos Phantom, smiled and said.
"You want me out of your friends body? Then come and fight me to do it."
Sonic and Shadow looked at one another.
"Well it looks like we don't have a choice Shadow," said Sonic.
"Yeah, if we have to get Nyx back we'll have to fight her," said Shadow.
"Alright then, let's do it Shadow," said Sonic.
Just then the chaos emeralds started to grow and glow.
"Hey, what's going on with those emeralds?" Asked Rarity.
"I'm not sure but I think we better get out of Sonic and Shadow's way," said Rainbow Dash.
With that the sirens, Tails, Sunset, and the others moved out of the way so Sonic and Shadow could fight Chaos Phantom without getting in the way.
"Alright Shadow, I think it's time to show this phantom, Shadic. What do you say?" Asked Sonic.
Shadow looked at Sonic and smiled.
"I say, lets do it Sonic."
With that the emeralds started to circled around Sonic and Shadow.
"What are you two up to now?" Asked Chaos.
"Oh you'll see Chaos, ready Shadow?" Asked Sonic.
"I'm ready when you are Sonic," said Shadow.
With that Sonic and Shadow rose up and then shouted.
"CHAOS CONTROL!!!!"
After that a bright light engulf them which made Chaos Phantom, five of the mane six, Tails, Sunset, the sirens, and everyone else to close their eyes.
"What in the world is happening?" Asked Vice Principal Luna.
"Sonic and Shadow, are transforming into one," said Tails.
"What do you mean that they are transforming into one?" Asked Principal Celestia.
Before Tails could say anything else. The bright light dimed and their where Sonic and Shadow used to stand was a teenage boy with white hair with red streaks. He wore a white shirt with a yellow and black jacket over it. He also had on fingerless gloves, along with silvery pants, and finally he had on the same hover shoes that Shadow had. Everyone all looked at the boy in aw excepted for Tails.
"What, what happened to Sonic and Shadow?" Asked Flash, who was in the crowed.
"And who is that good looking boy?" Asked Sonata.
"That is Sonic and Shadow, they have transformed in to one person," said Tails.
When everyone heard that they were shocked.
"YOU MEAN TO TELL US THAT, THAT'S SONIC AND SHADOW AS ONE PERSON?" Asked Pinkie.
"Yep, that's right," said Tails.
"That....is....so....AWSOME!!!!" Said Rainbow Dash.
When Chaos saw this, he was not impressed.
"Ha, if you think that little transformation will help you, you are sadly mistaken."
Shadic looked up at Chaos Phantom who was still in Nyx's body and said.
"No Chaos Phantom, it's you that is sadly mistaken thinking that you can beat me."
After that Chaos Phantom, charged right at Shadic.
(Music ends and Egg-Wyvern boss theme from Sonic 2006 starts to play)
As Chaos charged right at Shadic, he charged right at Chaos as well. The two of them then collided with each other and began to test each others strength by locking hands.
"Ha, not bad Shadic," said Chaos.
"Your not so bad yourself Chaos Phantom," said Shadic.
"Why thank you Shadic."
Suddenly Chaos Phantom then broke there death lock on each other and then he punched Shadic in the gut sending him flying into a wall.
"Shadic? Are you alright?" asked Fluttershy.
"Yeah, I'm ok Fluttershy," said Shadic, as he was holding his gut.
"Your not going to be fine when I'm done with you," said Chaos, as he fired a dark energy blast at him.
As the energy blast headed towards Shadic, he quickly used chaos control and was able to dodge the blast before it could hit him.
"Wow now that was close," said Pinkie pie.
Just then Chaos Phantom, started to rapidly shoot more dark energy blasts right at Shadic. But Shadic, dodged everyone of those blasts.
"Stop moving you meddlesome hedgehog," said Chaos Phantom, as he continued to fire at Shadic.
Just then Shadic appeared right behind Chaos, and said in a quiet voice.
"Hey behind you."
As Chaos Phantom turned around Shadic did a back flip kick which connected Chaos possessed Nyx, and it sent him flying up in the sky.
"Ha, too easy," said Shadic, as he fallowed him up into the sky.
Then when Shadic over took him, he clinched up his fist and then hit Chaos, on the head which made him plummet done to the ground leaving a big hole in the ground.
"Alright, Shadic did it," said Rarity.
But just then Tails said.
"It's not over yet Rarity."
"What do you mean Tails?" Asked Rainbow Dash.
Just then the Chaos Phantom possessed Nyx came out of the hole.
"You are going to pay for that Shadic."
"Why don't you just give up already Chaos, and give Nyx back to us?" Shadic asked.
"If you want Nyx, back so badly then come and get her," said Chaos, as he charged after Shadic.
Shadic, tried to dodge but Chaos was to fast and got kicked in the face and landed right next to Sunset and the sirens.
"Shadic, are you alright?" Sunset asked.
Before Shadic could answer he saw an energy beam heading right towards them.
"Look out you guys," Shadic said, as he got up and tried to block the beam of energy.
As the energy beam hit Shadic, he went flying right into his friends. Then as the smoke cleared Chaos Phantom saw that Sonic and Shadow had separated.
"Well, well, well it looks like you two have reached your limits," said Chaos, as he looked down at Sonic and Shadow and got ready to finish them off as he crated his final attack.
Sonic, Shadow, and their friends looked on at Chaos Phantom's energy ball getting bigger and bigger.
"This is it Sonic and Shadow, say goodbye. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" Said Chaos.
But before he could kill Sonic and Shadow, his dark energy ball vanished and his hand started to shake.
"Wha....what's going on with me?" Asked Chaos.
"Sonic? What's going on?" asked Tails.
"It must be Nyx, she still in their somewhere,:" said Sonic.
As Chaos struggled with Nyx's body Sonic turned to Shadow, and asked.
"Shadow? Do you still have enough power to do your chaos flame fist?"
"I think so Sonic," said Shadow.
With that Shadow got up and started to charge up his attack. Meanwhile Chaos was still struggling to keep control of Nyx's body.
"N....no I....I must....get....control," he said.
Just then he heard Shadow shouting.
"HEY CHAOS PHANTOM!!!!"
Chaos looked at Shadow and saw that his hand was on fire.
"GET OUT OF NYX'S BODY NOW, CHAOS FLAME FIST!!!!"
With that flames burst out of Shadow's fist and headed towards Chaos Phantom.
"What? No this can't be," said Chaos, as the flames engulfed him.
(Music ends)
When everybody looked on as the flames engulfed Chaos Phantom in Nyx's body, they were concerned for her.
"Oh I hope Nyx, is alright," said Fluttershy.
"Yeah, me too surgarcube," said Applejack.
And everyone else agreed when Tails said.
"Don't worry girls Nyx, is just fine."
"Are you sure Tails?" Asked Adagio.
Tails looked at Adagio and said.
"Yes, I'm sure Adagio."
Just then the flames vanished and showed Nyx starting to fall to the ground.
"Oh no Nyx," everyone said.
Just then Aria got up and caught Nyx, to everyone's relief.
"Hey Tails?" Asked Rarity.
"Yeah Rarity?" Asked Tails.
"Is Nyx, alright?"
When Rarity asked that Tails, looked at his watch and said.
"She's a little weak but she'll be alright."
"Thank goodness," said Rainbow Dash.
Just then Nyx started to open her eyes.
"Hey everybody she's waking up," said Aria.
As soon as Nyx woke up she saw everybody all looking at her.
"Hey everybody, what's going on?" Asked Nyx, weakly.
"Don't you remember anything Nyx?" Asked Pinkie pie.
Nyx, thought for a moment until her eyes opened wide.
"Oh no now I remember, that evil hedgehog took control of me, made me hurt Sonic and Shadow, and made me almost make off with the Crystal Heart."
As Nyx, started to cry until Sunset came up to her and said in a calm voice.
"Shhhh it's ok Nyx, we still have the Crystal Heart and that evil hedgehog is gone."
"That's right Nyx, now that Chaos Phantom is gone. All we have to do is to wait until the portal opens and..."
Sonic never finished his sentence for he and Shadow who was right next to him fell to the ground, weaken from their battle with Chaos Phantom.
"Sonic, Shadow," everyone said, as they came up to them with concern on they're faces.
"No it's ok, we're just a little weak that's all," said Shadow weakly.
When Nyx saw her two friends so weak from their battle to try and free her form Chaos Phantom, she was sad.
"Oh no, this is all my fault."
"Nyx, this isn't your fault," said Applejack.
"Yeah it was that big mean meanie pants Chaos Phantom, who made you do those bad things," said Pinkie pie.
Nyx was about to say something else until the ground started to shake.
(Bowser Takes Peach's Castle from Paper Mario starts to play)
"Hey, what in the world is going on?" Asked Fluttershy.
"It feels like and earthquake," said Sonata.
Suddenly the sky grew dark.
"Something tells me that this is no earthquake," said Tails.
"Yeah, it doesn't feel like an earthquake to me ether Tails," said Sonic.
Just then they heard a sadistic laugh.
"Oh man, it's Chaos Phantom," said Shadow.
When Shadow said that Chaos Phantom, appeared.
"HAHAHA, so you all thought you have gotten rid of me? Well I'm afraid not, I have a mission to complete and I'm going to do just that."
Just then Chaos snapped his fingers and then the Crystal Heart vanished out of Nyx's hands.
"Hey, what happened to the Crystal Heart?" Asked Sunset.
"Looking for this?" Asked Chaos Phantom, as he reviled the Crystal Heart in his hand.
"Give us back the Crystal Heart, Chaos now," said Sonic.
"You want it back? Fine you can have it but first."
Just then Chaos, opened his mouth and then the Crystal Heart started to turn black.
"Hey, what is Chaos Phantom doing?" Asked Rainbow Dash.
"He's, stilling the Crystal Heart's power," said Tails.
"But, how can he?" Asked Sunset.
Just then Chaos closed his mouth and tossed the now black Crystal Heart to Sonic, Shadow, and the others.
"Oh no you guys, look at the Crystal Heart," said Fluttershy.
"It's all black, what dose that mean?" Asked Rarity.
"It means that Chaos Phantom, has just stoled the Crystal Heart's power," said Sonic.
Chaos Phantom, laughed and said.
"That's right and now thanks to the power of the Crystal Heart, I am more powerful then ever HAHAHAHA!!!!"
As soon as he said that he started to grow bigger and bigger.
"Oh man, he's huge," said Adagio.
"What are we going to do now?" Asked Applejack.
"There is nothing you can do now, I'm too powerful now and soon I will take over this world and Equestria with my queen HAHAHAHA!!!!" Said Chaos Phantom.
Just then Sonic and Shadow got up and stepped forwarded to Chaos Phantom.
"You and your queen who ever she is will not take over this world or Equestria," said Sonic.
"That right, you'll have to go though us to do it," said Shadow.
With that Sonic and Shadow transformed into their hyperforms as they did that their friends were concerned for them.
"Guys your not strong enough yet," said Tails.
"Yeah you guys could die," said Flash Sentry.
But Sonic and Shadow, looked at them and smiled and turned to face Chaos Phantom.
(Music ends and the power of love from Sailor moon starts to play)
"Ha, if you two are ready to die then so be it," said Chaos Phantom, as he raised up his hands and prepared to kill Sonic and Shadow with his new powers.
"Alright Chaos Phantom let's do it," said Sonic and Shadow together.
Then as Chaos Phantom released his dark energy ball Sonic and Shadow raised up their hands and struggled to keep Chaos Phantom's attack from hitting them and their friends.
"HAHAHA!!!! Now that I have achieved ultament power thanks to the Crystal Heart, your powers are nothing Sonic and Shadow," said Chaos.
As Sonic and Shadow continued to struggle their friends cried out.
(The sirens)
Don't give up you two.
(Sunset Shimmer)
Yeah, it's working.
(The Rainbooms)
Sonic, Shadow.
(Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna)
Do it you guys.
(Tails)
You can beat him Sonic and Shadow.
As Nyx looked on at Sonic and Shadow, struggling she started to cry.
"Oh no it's all my fault."
Then she turned to Tails and said to him.
"It's all my fault Tails."
Tails couldn't believe what Nyx was saying.
"Nyx no."
Tails tried to say something but Nyx, continued to speak.
"It's all because of me that this happening, it's all my fault.
As Nyx continued to cry one of her tears fell on the Crystal Heart and when it did the Crystal started to glow brightly again. When Nyx saw this she couldn't believe that the Crystal Heart was back to full power.
"The Crystal Heart's power is back," she said to herself
Just then she looked back up to Sonic and Shadow and saw what she had to do, so she got up with the Crystal Heart and started towards Sonic and Shadow were until Tails stopped her.
"Nyx, what are you doing?"
Nyx looked back at Tails and said.
"Tails, I'm sorry I got you all into this but I'm going to use the Crystal Heart to help Sonic and Shadow."
"But Nyx, I can't let you it's way too dangerous."
"I don't care you all risked your lives to protect my family and me."
"But Nyx."
But Nyx just nodded to Tails.
"Your right, we got to fight him with all we've got."
Then Tails took the microphone that was still on it's stand and said to everyone that were still in the stands.
"Everyone lesion to me, you have got to say chaos control with me."
When everyone heard that they looked at one another with confused looks on their faces.
(Rose Luck)
What good would that do?
(Tails)
Please you have got to trust me.
As everyone talked to each other Luna took the microphone out of Tails' hand and said.
"Just do what he says."
With that everyone nodded.
"Thank you everyone, now when I give the word raise your hands up in the air and say chaos control." said Tails.
Meanwhile Chaos Phantom, saw that he was winning against Sonic and Shadow.
"HAHAHAHA!!!! At last I am finally going to get rid of Sonic and Shadow, for my queen."
"Sonic, I don't think I can keep this up for much longer," said Shadow.
"We have no choice Shadow, we have to keep going," said Sonic.
But just when it looked bad for Sonic and Shadow, back on the ground Nyx with the Crystal Heart raised it up and said.
"Crystal Heart, please give me the strength to protect my friends and family."
As soon as she said those words the Crystal Heart glowed as brightly as ever and then Nyx, started to change. First she grew pony ears, then her hair grew into a pony tail, and then finally she grew wings and after that rows up to fight with Sonic and Shadow. When Chaos Phantom, saw this he was shocked.
"What? The Crystal Heart is back to full power?"
When Sonic and Shadow saw that Nyx, join the fight they were shocked too and said together.
"What the? Nyx?"
(Nyx)
I need strength to fight.
When Tails, heard what Nyx said he turned to everyone and said.
"That's the signal you guys, now."
With that he raised up his hands and said.
"CHAOS CONTROL!!!!"
Then everyone else followed.
(Sunset Shimmer)
CHAOS CONTROL!!!!
(The sirens)
CHAOS CONTROL!!!!
(The Rainbooms)
CHAOS CONTROL!!!!
(The Principals)
CHAOS CONTROL!!!!
(Everyone else)
CHAOS CONTROL!!!!
After that Sonic and Shadow, felt more powerful then ever before. Then Sonic looked at Shadow, and said.
"Alright Shadow, let's finish this guy off."
"I'm with you Sonic," said Shadow.
Then he looked at Nyx and asked.
"Nyx? Are you with us?"
Nyx looked at Shadow, and said.
"Yes Shadow, I'm with you guys."
(Shadow)
Then let's do it, CHAOS!!!!
(Sonic)
CHAOS!!!!
(Nyx)
CHAOS!!!!
(Sonic, Shadow, and Nyx)
CONTROL!!!!
When Chaos Phantom, saw what was happening he just laughed and said.
"Try all you like, a whole bunch of you can't match the power of the Chaos Phantom."
But suddenly a huge beam of energy blasted out of the Crystal Heart.
(Sonic and Shadow)
CHAOS PHANTOM!!!!
(Nyx)
GO AWAY FOEVER!!!!
(Sonic, Shadow, and Nyx)
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
Just then the beam of energy broke through the dark energy ball and engulfed Chaos Phantom, with him screaming.
"WHAT? THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING NO ONE IS AS STRONG AS THE CHAOS PHANTOM!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
And in a flash he was gone.
(Song ends)
