This is my perfect setting.” Cider gushed once they reached Macintosh Mountains. “Not mine. Look at all this dirt! Canterlot was my perfect setting.” Diamond complained. Macintosh Mountains was a quiet and peaceful farming estate. But it was quite messy that day. The girls trotted around until they spotted a stallion. He was fiddling around with his weeds. “Hello, sir,” Cider greeted. “Howdy, young fellow!” he greeted back to her. “Hi. I’m Princess Firework Sparkle, that’s Colorful Dash, that’s Sugar Pie, that’s Diamond Pants, that’s Cider, and that’s Harmony. You are…?" Firework introduced everyone. “I’m Farmer Rustic. Can you girls help me?” Rustic asked. “Of course,” Harmony said. “Okay. These weeds won’t come out. I can’t have all my food gone for my family.” Rustic explained. “We’ll help,” Sugar said. “If I know a thing or two ‘bout weeds, it’s that they’re hard to get out. So, ya gotta put some elbow grease into it. By that I mean try harder.” Cider said as she tried at a weed. The other girls did the same and tugged as hard as they could. “Hey, these weeds won’t come out,” Colorful said. “It’s so hard! And dirty.” Diamond whined. Rustic looked offended at Diamond’s retort. "Well excuse me," “Hmm, now that I look at it, these don’t look like weeds at all. They’re lil' black vines.” Cider examined. She then gasped. "Aunt Apple Bloom, Uncle Mac, and Ma experienced these before. They said nothin' could get 'em out." “Hmm. I know a spell to get them out! But I need everypony’s help. Colorful and Harmony, I need you two to fly around the weeds speedy fast.” Firework said. Harmony and Colorful did that. A strong gust of wind flew by them (mainly because of Colorful's speed). “Sugar and Cider, you two need to run alongside Colorful and Harmony. Again, run speedy fast!” Firework said. Sugar and Cider ran, creating a stronger gust of wind. It was so strong that Diamond flew up. “Firework, help!” she squealed. Firework flew to Diamond. “No. This is what needs to happen. You have to help me with the spell. Use your magic and when I get to three, you think the words, ‘Make these weeds come out!’” she explained. “B-but…” Diamond stammered. “Diamond, we have to do this. He may not let us pass until we do.” Firework yelled. Diamond gulped, but finally gave in. The two performed the spell phenomenally. When the weeds came out, everypony stopped. They all collapsed to the ground, panting. Rustic thanked the girls. “Thank you! You deserve some of this food!” he said, handing the girls fruits, vegetables, some tomato soup, chicken noodle soup, and vegetable soup. “Where are you girls off to?” he asked. “The Forest of Leota,” Firework answered. Rustic shivered. “Do be careful,” “Of course!” Harmony assured him as the girls headed for their next stop: The Sight of the Battle of Discord.
