Inside her cottage, Fluttershy is confronted by a bear named Mr. Grizzleyton about a dragon in his cave.
"Did you ask him nicely to leave?" She asked, receiving a nod in return. "What did he look like?" She nodded as he roared her everything. "Oh my! I was hoping it wasn't one of them..."
I ran to my closet and chest, donning my horned helmet and leather/iron armor. I grab one of my extra horned iron helmet and placed it on Mr. Grizzleyton's head.
"Fos Roh Yay!" I shouted at his face, but this wasn't unrelenting shout. I hoofed him a fraction of my power. "For now you are now Dovah Bear. Use your temporary power wisely."
We flew over to the Everfree, thanks to little Sonic's running through some tunnels, life had return to part of the dangerous forest. We were passing the wisp clearing when we heard some rustling in the bushes. Out came Sir Lancelot with a calm look on his face that turned red once our eyes met. "What's with the bear, Lady Shy?" he asked.
"We're about to fight dragons."
He pulls down his face guard as he took out his weapon, "Shall we proceed?"
"We shall, knight. Just... um... don't be in the... um... cross fire."
For some reason small Sonic, Manic, and Vynal Scratch were there too, revving some electric guitars as Manic messed with a sound board on wheels. Their music seemed to follow us, despite our movement away from them. The music was actually glorious, unlike what my past lives heard.
We knocked out some Manticores passing their territory and made some cragogater jerky for when they woke up. We had a problem with Slender Man, but short story short- He isn't fire proof. Felt a little sorry for him, but we had no time when it came to saving Mr. Grizzleyton's mate and cubs from an ancient dragon, hopefully he's not "the world eater" that killed one of me.
We neared a cave... next to a cave. Odd. As we entered some crazy brown girl was fighting the giant ice dragon as it snapped at her. In the back five cubs were cowering behind their mom as she watched the battle.
The girl tossed a wooden boomerang as she exclaimed, "I will not be dest- obli- impa-!" She let out a scream as she climbed its head and shouted, "You cant kill me!"
Lancelot and my Dovah Bear ran over to the dragon, the bear thooming the knight towards the beast's head. I flew over and gave it a stare, stopping everyone, "Why are you here?!"
The feral girl responded, "Well, I was in my cave-house when I heard roar! Grrr! Graahhhh! Roar! Roar! Roar!!! So I walked over to my new neighbor and found a dragon was about to eat some bears!"
"Um... Sorry, but I was talking to the dragon."
The dragon sat down and replied in a Canterlot noble accent, "Well, I awoke in this cave- Being dead here. Nobody will let me leave and that one bear ran off, leaving his family after roaring at me. I thought he understood me!" Everyone quickly got off the dragon as he left the cave, "Besides! I need to wake Alduin! Ta ta!" He left too fast for us to stop him.
I sat back in my seat as I watched the test flight for the new Egg Carrier as it took off. It was going smoothly until something huge came into radar. Decoe, Bocoe, Orbot, and Cubot prepared to fire when a huge explosion destroyed my airship, forcing us to evacuate.
Beach Ball came onto the monitor, "Hey Loki! How's your airship?"
"It died," I flatly replied. "Grounded by a... Dragon. There's dragons here!"
Beach Ball gave a loud laugh, "You didn't know that? And I thought Hard Boiled needed to get out more!"
"Shut up, wrecking ball!"
"Seriously? At least I didn't use it twice! Oh, and can you outrun Sonic?"
"Can you build a successful machine?"
"Robotnik! He can really move!" Beach Ball started to sing, "Robotnik! He has a high IQ! Robotnik! He's the fastest thing alive!"
"Shut up!"
"Well, that just happened." Sticks commented, she turned to her new friends, "Can I have some mead? My head is killing me!"
I looked over to her, "As soon as I make sure the dragon is dead we will have Honeybrew Mead. But only one cup." We ran/flew over to where the massive dragon and flying-thing landed. On the way, some Egg Pawns opened fire on us. "Your not... um... being nice. Can you stop... please." They kept firing at the group, annoying Fluttershy a bit, "Can you please stop! Wait, they're robots... Fos Ro Dah!!!" I sent them flying above trees as we continued our trek.
We found the dragon limping to his master, thankfully not close at all, when I took my enchanted bow out. I shot a flaming arrow, piercing his hide, signaling my group to attack. The dragon fought well, despite his injury, freezing the ground and trying to crush us. I fired some more bows as Dovah Bear sent an unusual shout I'd like to call "the Unrelenting Trout" that sent fish from the sky and onto the dragon. I actually use that shout so I wouldn't feed Nemo to my carnivores.
Sir Lancelot ran up the dragon's back and stabbed the beast's head with a gross crack. As the dragon fell, it became a skeleton as its soul entered me in the form of golden energy. I turned to my friends, "Please don't tell anypony what you saw. This little fight can never be talked about."
"You have my word, fellow warrior." Sir Lancelot said with a small bow.
"Please, you all have to Pinkie promise... Even the band over there," I pointed to some bushes that had a red/blue flashing glow to it.
Lancelot embedded his blade into the ground, "Cross my heart, my friends wont die. I cant let them lose an eye." He said crossing his heart, lifting a fist, and covering an eye.
"Um... That's close enough..." The others did the same while Vynal said the right words with the correct motions.
I held my map of Equestria while sitting on my box and looked back over to what I saw... This isn't good. From my side Caliburn asked, "Sire. This place isn't on the map..."
"Of course not, I know this place. It shouldn't be here," I said, looking at the old Robotnik empire / junk yard. This place even came with the dark clouds as if by magic and besides, brought back memories. Directly attached to Filly Delphia and Baltimare with a tail that almost turns Horseshoe Bay into a lake, Robotnik's domain became a part of the continent. It looked like a tumor on a mostly happy place, but was slowly killing it. It made me sick.
"Sonic? Are you alright?" Caliburn asked, looking up from his sheath with worry in his eyes.
"No. I almost grew up here and it was terrible. I couldn't leave at night and my Uncle Chuck had to mine for that monster," I gave a sigh, remembering Amy's calming techniques. "When we're done, I wonder if time was nice enough to have him frozen some where away from here. I don't want Sonia and Manic to see him like a metal monster like before." I hopped off by box and grabbed it, "Let's go- Is that what I think it is?"
In front of me were a pair of gold light speed shoes in perfect condition! I quickly unwrapped my legs and replaced my shoes, pocketing the old pair inside my dimensional pocket in my scarf. Dang, this thing is bigger on the inside to hold shoes, gum, and about a thousand or so bits and rings! I rewrapped my legs and prepared my run with my package. Just as I hoped, my speed increased allowing me to easily run on water and avoid drowning.
Looks like I'm going to cross enemy territory, this should be fun.
