	Somniferous and Acquiescence stood face to face in one of Discord's spare bedrooms, discussing if they should move. "Well?" Somniferous tapped her hoof impatiently. "Do you think we should move here?"

Acquiescence looked timidly around the room, searching for answers. "If that's what you want, yes." He really didn't know what else to say, after he lost his job and became evicted, they moved into a dingy apartment complex in inner city Fillydelphia. Staying rent-free with his in-laws in a nice house didn't really seem too bad at the moment.

"The kids are going to whine, moan, bitch, and do whatever it takes to stay in Fillydelphia with their friends. You need to promise me that this decision is final, and that nothing the kids say will change your mind." Somniferous always knew that when it came down to big decision, Misty and Barley knew how to manipulate their father. She was to make sure that didn't happen.

Acquiescence nodded. "I won't let anything sway my decision." 

"Good. Now make sure we tell the kids after we get them in the car." Somniferous joked. 

"They're runners." Acquiescence smiled. "Wouldn't want Misty running away and trying to quit school and live with her coltfriend, Again."

"Please honey, don't remind me." Somniferous shook her head and exited the room. With dinner well over, it wouldn't be much trouble to get the kids home. 

After walking around the house, she found Barley hanging upside down in a chair in the den, and Misty groaning as she laid uncomfortably on the couch next to it. "Can we go home now?" Misty groaned annoyed. "Or is this part of our punishment?"

"Yes we should go home since it's getting pretty late. Now get up off your plots and into the car." Somniferous slitted eyes glued on her children as they fell off the couches and slowly walked out of the house. 

Discord walked out of the kitchen to greet Somniferous before she left. "Kids still giving you trouble?" Discord spoke softly and hugged her without hesitation.

"Like you wouldn't believe. We'll all be back tomorrow." Somniferous smiled before letting go.

"I know how to control your kids if they're giving you too much trouble." Discord smiled maliciously. 

"No." Somniferous shook her head. "You're not using magic to control our children."

"Aw. But it's so much fun, and I haven't been able to do it since you kids were little." Discord joked. Somniferous raised an eyebrow suspiciously.

Acquiescence walked down the stairs and waved at Discord on his way out of the house. Somniferous sighed. "Well I guess I have to go..."

Discord turned her head toward the kitchen. "Not without saying goodbye to your mother."

Somniferous groaned disapprovingly and walked into the kitchen. "Bye mom." She said, hugging Fluttershy.

Fluttershy smiled. "It's a long drive, are you sure you'll get everything moved and be here by tomorrow?" She asked concerningly.

"That's the plan." Somniferous waved goodbye and then left.





Barley threw her books angrily into boxes. Misty was busy taking her drugs out from under the floor and pushing them in a suitcase under her clothes. "Do you have to bring mushrooms?" Barley looked at Misty annoyed. 

Misty sighed. "Do you have any idea how much these cost?" She held up the bag of dried psychoactive mushrooms in her hooves. "75 bits." 

Barley looked curiously at the contents of the bag. "For just 8 ounces of mushrooms?" Barley said shocked.

"Actually it was 16 ounces." Misty smiled devilishly as she put them back in her suitcase. 

"You know Mom's going to be checking all our suitcases right? And you know why..." Barley accused.

"What?" Misty raised her voice. "Just because I packed condoms on our trip to Haywaii? That was me being responsible. I could've packed no condoms."

"Yeah whatever." Barley snorted. "Thanks to you I can't bring the pills I got at a pharming party last week." 

Misty's eyes widened. "You went to a pharming party?" Misty shook her head. "Did you even know what you were taking?"

Barley yelled. "You go to party's all the time!"

Misty growled. "Yeah, but at the parties that I go to, I know there's going to be booze and bongs. When you go to pharming parties, they just give you a bunch of random drugs they found in their parents bathrooms."

"You can't criticize me. You're just jealous that I go to better parties than you!" Barley scoffed.

"No, you're just mad because I have sex and you don't!" Misty roared tenaciously. 

Somniferous opened the door to their room and shrieked. "Be quiet!" She slammed the door on it's hinges.

"Great." Misty rolled her eyes. "Now you got mom mad."

Barley tackled Misty and hit her. Misty hit back. Somniferous opened the door again and witnessed the feral spectacle. She sighed. "Cut it out you two." She hissed. Misty and Barley got up and groaned, annoyed. "Now apologize." Somniferous barked.

"Sorry." Barley said, holding her head down.

Misty sneered. "Hmph!" 

"You too Misty!" Somniferous snarled.

"Agh! I'm sorry, geez!" Misty yelled. "Is that good enough?"

Somniferous rolled her eyes in response. "You know it isn't, but I don't want to argue with you anymore. Whatever you two were fighting about, knock it off both of you."

"Fine." Misty and Barley said in unison, turning away from eachother.

Somniferous shut the door, and they both exhaled in relief.
