Chapter 3: Aria's Day Off

"Ugh, what a day," Aria panted as she slammed onto her bed.

It's been a week since Sonata and Adagio have been her roommates, and she was sick of it. Adagio would always hog the bathroom, brushing her hair and finding her hair curler. Sonata would always act childish and getting into Aria's business. This time, it was her homework that bothered her. Aria has been failing all her classes because the teachers would say that she is "slacking off". So she was forced to do extra credit work to boost up her grades. And she doesn't want her parents figuring it out, or she'd be in big trouble.

Aria sighed as she got to work. Thank goodness Adagio took Sonata to Taco Bell for dinner. Hour after hour, she was working and working and working. "How much work do I have to do!?" Aria yelled.

Then, it hit her. She should have a day off! I totally deserve it, considering the teachers make me do work everyday. "Bye bye, homework!" Aria said as she slammed her pencil, which made papers flying everywhere.

As she walked outside into the fresh air, she saw Adagio and Sonata walking in her direction. "Oh no," Aria said nervously and hid in the bushes.

"Dagi, why didn't we take Ari with us?" Sonata asked.

"Well, you know Aria has to finish her work, and you know how much she procrastinates," Adagio smirked.

"Yeah right," Aria said, then she covered her mouth.

"Dagi, what was that?" Sonata jumped and hid behind Adagio.

"Probably just the wind, Sonata. Come on, we should get our homework done too," Adagio said, as they walked in the dormitory.

"Phew!" Aria sighed with relief. Then she brushed the leaves off of her and walked towards the mall.

First stop, HayBurger. They had really good burgers, especially the horseshoe fries. "I would like a king size burger with fries, along with a large coke," Aria asked. "Okay, coming right up!" The man said.

After the good dinner, Aria went to Aeropostal to buy new clothes. her shirt was getting tight anyway. "Yes! A sale!" Aria said. She picked out a sea foam green long sleeve shirt that say Aeropostal on it, and bootcut jeans with holes in them. And she went to another store to buy the new purse that was on the shopping channel on TV. They said it was the hottest purse in the world, not literally hot, by temperature, like pretty, hot...

A few hours later, Aria was carrying shopping bags, a new purse and soda from HayBurger. "Well that was fun," Aria said. And she walked back to her dorm.

As soon as she walked through the dorm room doors, she found Sonata, looking at her bags with a confused look.

"Ari, when did you get all that stuff?" Sonata asked as she pointed at all of Aria's bags.

"Umm... Somewhere," Aria stammered.

"Is that a new store? Can you take me there someday!?" Sonata squealed.

"Yeah, yeah, sure. Someday," Aria said. "Now, back to work."
