"La, la, la, la, la, la, la!" Sugar Pie, daughter of Cheese Sandwich and Pinkie Pie, sang as she ate breakfast.

"Good morning, Sugar!" Pinkie greeted her daughter.

"Morning, Mom!" Sugar said.

"Here are your party pancakes!" Cheese said, handing Sugar some pancakes with fake mini balloons on them.

"Oh yeah!" Sugar said, brushing her pink bangs out of the way.

Sugar had adapted her mother's pink mane and blue eyes, her father's yellow coat, and their wild, crazy, "let's-have-a-party!" personality.

"Fourth grade, kiddo! You're growing up so fast!" Pinkie complimented her.

"I know, Mom. You say it on every first day of school." Sugar reminded her.

"Oh, I know, dear,"

"So, do you know who will be in my class?" Sugar asked.

"Well, uh, well, no! You need to find out!" Cheese said.

But he and Pinkie knew good and well that Sugar's enemies would be in her class.

"Oh, man! It's almost time for the bell to ring! You need to go, Sugar!" Pinkie exclaimed, giving Sugar her pink cupcake-covered backpack.

Sugar put it on, said "bye" to her parents, and hopped to school.
