Love Is Always With You

Darkness Rises

Sombra had noticed how he was acting around his loved ones, and he was afraid of what real harm he could afflict on them. To clam his nerves, he went to the Canterlot Library to read some books. It was strange, no pony was to be found in the library. Usually many ponies were reading up on the history and culture of Equestria, but in the room there was only Sombra. So, he sat down and began to read some Shirespeare plays.

"Brilliantly written and very entertaining," he said.

"Hola amigo," Veta said.

"Oh hello Veta," he said.

"I had to tell thee," she said

"Tell me what exactly?" He asked.

"All of Canterlot knows what thou did to Luna yesterday," she replied.

"Ay me. I feel awful for allowing that to occur, and I do love my princess, but I do not know what is happening to me," he said.

"The worst part is every pony is beginning to fear for their lives, because of Discord, and now thy own self my friend," she said.

Sombra stared at Veta with angry eyes. Veta was very nervous soon, and she was prepared to run or fight if she had to.

"I certainly hope my friend dost not in fear," he said.

Veta did not respond. Sombra's stare became more intense upon her. Veta was so afraid that she was shaking, but she did not think to run. Then, the unthinkable...

"Thou art just as afraid as every pony else!" He yelled.

"Sombra, *cough* please stop this I cannot *gasp* breathe," she said.

He finally released her throat, and she began to gasp for air. Veta turned to her friend, and she began to cry.

"You should leave Veta," he said, "before I kill thee."

Veta ran home crying to Nightingale, who was now her husband.

"Veta what has happened, what art thou in tears," Nightingale asked.

"Sombra intentó matarme," she replied.

"English please I do not understand Spanish dear,"

"Sombra tried to kill me," she said.

"Why would he do such a thing," he asked.

"He has been possessed by a dark magic I believe," she said.

"I must have an audience with Princess Celestia about this," he said.

After the audience, they gathered some guards together and headed to the library. When they arrived, books were everywhere as if a tornado had struck the place. There was a letter placed on a table near the entrance, it was for Luna. Celestia handed over the letter to her and let her read it in private. The letter said:

Dear Luna,

I now realize that I am more powerful and dangerous than I thought. I cannot stay with thee and Stella any further. In fear of harming you both, I have departed Canterlot for thine own wellness, and I will miss thee every moment we are apart. I am now a monsterous creature, who will have no love for anyone. Please not search for me, thou art better off with me no longer with thee.

Love,
Sombra

"Ay me, this pain I am feeling is unbearable. I have not felt this much pain since mother and father passed away," she said crying, "I love thee Sombra, having you gone is making me miserable, I shall never find joy or love again."

Luna was heartbroken, so she locked herself and Stella in her room for weeks. She never spoke to anyone, but her child. She decide had to find her love, no matter what he would do to her when she found him
