I woke up in a strange place that I had never seen before. I tried to think of where I was when a crystal pony came through the door.
"Oh," The pony said, "You're up! Are you hungry? Let me go get you food!"
She said all of this without letting me say one thing, I don't like her already. Then ANOTHER pony came in my room, Flash Sentry; I like him more than the other girl.
"Well hello there," He said, "I hope the bed wasn't too hard!"
He is obviously joking, I am sleeping in a crater of soft, fluffy marshmallows. Hey, it even smells like marshmallows!
"So sorry for Carrot Care," Flash apologized, "She is just excited to have a small filly to take care of. Oh, Shining Armor lived through Cadence's rage. He is back to normal, eating twenty-five pancakes for breakfast!"
How can any stallion get any fatter? Oh, great, here comes that Carrot Cake or whatever- I smell marshmallows!
"Here you go, little one!" She said handing me the biggest tray of food I have ever seen, "I hope you like it. There is crystal berry juice, hay bacon, a few pancakes with some crystal berry syrup, some crystal berries, some French toast, some milk, a slice of apple pie, a hard boiled egg, some biscuits and gravy, and a carrot crumpet!"
Wow, never have I ever seen so much food! There is no way I am letting all of this go to waist; well, everything except the hard boiled egg. I ate the food eagerly; I had a little of everything. I had managed to eat half and could not eat another bite. Oh, great, now what does she want?
"My, were you hungry!" She said surprised, "I will take the tray back and Flash here will take you out to the pool if you like."
Holy cow, they have a pool?! I quickly gave the mare my answer.
"Uh, duh!" I said really fast, "Of coarse I want to go to the pool!"
"Not for another hour," The kill-joy said, "You need to digest you food first! You ate a lot!"
Yep, I hate her. I wonder where Cadence is?
"If you want I can take you to see Cadence if you like!" Flash suggested.
This guy understands me! I like him even more!
"Sure, I would like to go see Cadence," I said, still wondering how he knew that I wanted to see her, "Can we go now or do we have to wait an hour?"
"Oh, we have to wait an hour," He teased, "Just kidding, lets go see her."
As we headed toward-wherever Cadence was- Flash was called by a guard to go do something.
"You see that door straight ahead?" He asked me, of coarse I did, "That's where she is, I need to go do something so I will see you in a little bit."
I was sad to see him go, but I still headed to the door. My, it is big. As I opened the door, I heard Cadence talking to some-pony.
"I want it taken care of now!" Cadence said.
"Are you sure, you only just met the filly!" The other pony said, immediate hate on him...
"Yes, I am positive, now go get the paperwork now!" Cadence demanded.
"Yes, you highness," The other pony said reluctantly.
I poked my head through the door and unfortunately, I found out that the door needed some oil. My cover was blown, Cadence heard the rather loud squeak and looked in my direction; she smiled when she saw me.
"Come on in now Lily," She said, "It is ok to come in, why don't you come sit by me?"
"Who's Lily?" I asked, rather surprised.
"Why, you are," Cadence explained, "Flash came by last night and was he ever excited! He was bouncing of the walls, just wanting to tell me that he thought of a name for you! He chose the name Crystal Lily. I thought it was an amazing name. Do you like it?"
"Like it," I said, "Like it? LIKE IT?! No, I don't like it!"
Cadence, ha, her ears fell, try not to laugh!
"I love it!" I squealed, "I absolutely love it!"
"You really do love it?" Cadence asked, "Well, you will have to thank Flash for it, not me."
"Of coarse I will," I said, "If it was anyone else but you or him, I would not say thanks. You two are the only two that I like so far."
"Oh really?" She asked, "Well, I have something to tell you and I don't know if you will like it or not."
Oh dear, I don't like the sound of that voice.
"Lily," She said slowly, "I am going to adopt you."
Wat?
"Lily?"
Oh, my, holy cow!
"Are you kidding me?" I said, "Because if you are, this is not funny! You are going to adopt me? (insert scream here) Oh, this has to be the best day ever!"
We both embraced in a hug until we heard some-pony cough. It was Shining Armor, who was staring at us awkwardly.
"What did I miss?" He asked.
"Daddy!" I yelled just to confuse him more.
"Cadence?" He asked.
Cadence was just t busy laughing to respond. I started to laugh just at the sight of her. After we calmed down, we explained everything to Shining.
"You are going to be the best daddy ever!" I told Shining, "I just know you will! You know what, I don't know how this day could get any better!"
"Oh, I know," Cadence said with a smirk on her face.
"Oh, please, nothing could make this day any better!" I said.
"I agree Cadence," Shining said.
"Well I thought that the fact that I'm pregnant would make this day better bu-"
We both pummeled her in a big hug and were just squealing like little foals in a candy store. Cad- I mean mom, was right, that did make this day that best day ever.
