The next day.
Natsu and Happy woke up in the spare bedroom of the library, it was shuch a ruff night trying to get Lyra to leave him alone. In the end he agreed to answer any questions she asked the next day. Happy of course took the opportunity to poke fun at Natsu for having a fangirl. Happy regretted it later as Natsu delivered a quick punch to his face.
He got out of bed and walked out the door to go get some breakfast. He wasn't sure what ponies ate so he just assumed that since they can talk and think it shouldn't be too different from the food he ate in his world. Boy was he wrong, at first Natsu thought it was a joke but Twilight said that it wasn't.
"WHAT!!!" Natsu shouted. "You mean to tell me you have no meat!"
"Natsu we're ponies, we don't eat meat." Twilight said.
"But I'm not a pony!" Natsu was starting to panic.
"What about fish?" Happy asked.
"Well......Fluttershy does feed fish to some of her larger animals..." She was cut off by the sound of Natsu and Happy running out the door.
"Well there goes another morning conversation." Twilight grumbled.

Natsu and Happy were running through the streets of Ponyville trying to locate this Fluttershy when Happy broke the ice.
"Wait a minute Natsu, we don't know who this Fluttershy is or where she lives." Happy said. Natsu froze in place as the reality of the situation hit him.
"Nooooooooooooo!" Natsu shouted to the heavens. Both of them slumped to the ground defeated.
"I guess we should have asked Twilight first before we ran off like that." Happy said.
"Aye Happy....." Natsu was now in a sad mood. He didn't have breakfast and he just found out there was no meat in this world.
Lyra happened to be passing by when she saw Natsu. "Natsu! Hey Natsu! Over here!"
Natsu looked over towards Lyra, a noticeable frown on his face. Lyra walked up to him and asked,
"Hey Natsu what's wrong." Like a spring Natsu lunged and grabbed her. He then started to shake her.
"What's wrong! What's wrong is that there is no meat in this world." Lyra pulled herself free and looked at Natsu with simpathy.
"We can't seem to finf this Fluttershy so she can give me fish." Happy said sadly. As if to prove them right their stomachs started to growl. Ponies left and right stared at them.
"If you're looking for Fluttershy she's over there." Lyra pointed to a fruit stand, where a yellow peggasus was busy trying to by some apples. As if the gods themselves had answered them a soft light surrounded her.
Natsu and Happy ran to her, "Hey Fluttershy!" Natsu shouted a look of pure joy on his face.
"Huh?" Fluttershy turned around and screamed when Natsu tackled her sending all three of them crashing through the fruit stand. Applejack who happened to be behind the counter of the stand shouted.
"Consarn it!" The stand collapsed around her as apples were thrown all over the place.
"What do you want!?" Fluttershy said obviously frightened.
"Twilight said you might have meat for me to eat." Natsu said.
"And fish!" Happy exclaimed excitedly.
"I...Wha....me...?" Fluttershy was stammering now. She looked at Natsu with a confused look then at Happy. Applejack in the meantime was fuming, her stand was broken and her merchandise was all over the ground. She glared at Natsu and charged.
"Do ya varments have any idea what ya all just did!" She shouted as she lunged at Natsu, giving him a flying kick to the face. Natsu retaliated by punching her back, soon the two were fighting in the middle of Ponyville square. Dust was flying everywhere as the two scuffled.
"Go get her Natsu!" Happy cheered. Fluttershy just looked on in shock as Lyra facehooved.

Lyra managed to get Natsu away from both Fluttershy and Applejack. They are now sitting comfortably at a table in Sugarcube Corner awaiting some tasty treats. Pinkie walked in with a plate of assorted cupcakes and set them down on the table.
"Here ya go silly." She giggled. Lyra then took the time to ask Natsu a few questions.
"So Natsu, you said something the other night about you being a fire wizard for a Fairy Tail, would you mind telling me what that is?" Natsu was busy shovelling food into his mouth to answer, so Happy did it for him.
"A fire wizard is someone who can use fire magic and can control fire, Natsu here can use a special type of fire magic that lets him consume flames to power him up. As for Fairy Tail, it's the guild me and Natsu belong to as you can see by the mark on his shoulder." Lyra took a moment yo let that sink in.
"But what does a guild do?" She asked.
"You mean you don't have guilds here!," Happy said as Lyra nodded, "A guild is a place where wizards of all kinds get together to do missions and form a party."
At the mention of party Pinkie burst through the kitchen door.
"Did somepony say party?!" She looked around frantically, but finding no one she dropped back down and trotted back into the kitchen feeling disappointed.
"Missions as in odd jobs that ponies submit?" Lyra questioned.
"Yep," Natsu swallowed and continued, "Missions ranging from, search and rescue to monster hunting and treasure retrieval."
Lyra then jumped up, "I think we might have something similar to that here in Ponyville."
At the mention of missions Natsu jumped up and shouted, "All right, Happy lets go get us some jobs!"
"Aye!" Happy and Natsu ran out the door, but froze when Lyra shouted for them to wait.
"You don't even know where the request board is."

In the town hall, Natsu, Lyra and Happy were staring at a large board littered with requests. Mayor Mare was standing next to them with a smile on her face.
"It's not often we get ponies willing to do these requests. Usually it's those wanting to make a quick bit or two. So why not have a look and see if you can find one that you like."
"Aye!" Happy said. Natsu stared at the board. Most of the requests were odd jobs like, helping somepony move to finding a lost pet.
"None of these jobs has any action in them." Natsu screamed.
"Oh here's one you might like," Lyra said tearing the piece of paper off the board. "Looking for somepony to escort me across the Gulmore jungle trail. The petitioner is a Mr. Rockwell of Manehaten city. The reward is...."
Lyra almost fainted, "5000 bits!!"
"Let me see that," Natsu snatched the request from her, "Happy we found one."
"Aye!" Happy said. But Lyra stopped them at the door.
"Absolutely not! The Gulmore Jungles are much worse than the Everfree Forest, most of the plant life are carnivorous and will eat anything stupid enough to go through. I will not let you throw your lives away like that." Lyra was panting at this moment.
"In that case we'll take you with us." Natsu said.
"What!!!" Lyra screamed, "No, no, no, no, no, no, no, I refuse to go in there."
"Come on Lyra Natsu is a fire wizard, if any plants try to eat us he'll just burn them." Happy said. Lyra considered this for a moment when Natsu spoke up,
"The request calls for three ponies, me and Happy make two, so if you agree to go with us it will make three." Lyra went silent for a minute and without even thinking she blurted out.
"Fine I'll go, but you better promise nothing bad is going to happen." Natsu only smiled and said.
"Guess that makes us a team lets go Happy, Lyra." With that the three ran out the door and to the Ponyville station, ready for the greatest adventure of there lives.
