Sonic and Shadow in Equestria 3 The Search For The Crystal Heart.

Chapter 5
A few days had gone by since the sixteen fighters tournament and since then Sonic, Shadow, Tails, and Nyx had a apartment to live in, some transportation, and instruments for their band class. Now it was Tuesday and they were in the band room with five of the main six and Sunset practicing for a special school band competition for charity, Sonic, Shadow, Tails, and Nyx called their band The Sonic Heroes, and the five of the main six called their band The Rainbooms.
"Well guys, have you seen Rarity?" Asked Rainbow Dash.
"Sorry Rainbow, we haven't seen her today," said Sonic.
"I have, she was going to get me my piano that I forgot at home," said Nyx.
Just then the door of the music class opened and their was Rarity, on top of Nyx's piano with three guys helping to bring it in.
"Thank you boys, so much for your help," she said, as she got off the piano.
"Your welcome Miss Rarity," the three boys said, and then they went to their class.
After the three boys left Rarity came up to her friends and got her instrument on.
"Well there you go Nyx, your piano is here safe and sound," she said to Nyx.
Nyx, came up to Rarity and hugged her.
"Oh, thank you so much Rarity," she said.
"Your very welcome darling," said Rarity, as she returned the hug.
"Well if your ready Rarity, its time for us to practice," said Rainbow.
"This is going to be great," said Sunset, as she moved and sat on Nyx's piano.
"Come on guys let's get out of there way." Said Shadow.
After Sunset, Sonic, Shadow, Tails, and Nyx got out of the way the five of the main six started their music.

As they started to play Sonic, Shadow, Tails, Nyx, and Sunset started to groove with it.

Just then they started to transform into their pony versions of them selves.

As Sonic, Shadow, Tails, Nyx, and Sunset continued to groove they stopped and looked in awe when they saw them with pony ears, pony tails, and wings.

As they finished playing they transformed back to normal.
"Alright, now that's what I call a song," said Rainbow.
"Yes, we rock so good," said Pinkie pie.
Just then Shadow came up to them and said.
"I still can't believe you all can do that."
"I know and it's fun when it happens," said Rarity.
"I would just like to know why it happens? I mean Princess Twilight took her crown back to equestria. shouldn't that mean she took all of the magic with her?" Asked Applejack.
"Yes, that is a good question," said Tails.
Just then Rainbow spoke up.
"Who cares why it happens you guys it makes our band completely awesome."
"She's got a point there," said Fluttershy.
"Sometimes I wish I could do that," said Sunset.
"Well you did, excepted you transformed into a she-demon," said Pinkie.
Just then she realized what she said.
"No offense."
"None taken Pinkie pie," said Sunset.
"Oh don't worry darling, you have come so far to try to redeem yourself. I mean Applebloom, Sweetie Bell, and Scootaloo forgive you," said Rarity, trying to cheer Sunset up.
"Thanks Rarity, but I'm not sure everyone else at CHS feels the same way."
Just then they heard Principal Celestia's voice on the laud speaker.
"Sunset Shimmer? Please report to the main hallway."
"Well I gotta run, I volunteered to show new students around the school. I thought it would be good for them to get to know the new me, before they hear all the stuff about the old me," said Sunset, as she left the room.
After they left Rainbow turned to Sonic, Shadow, Nyx, and Tail.
"Say you guys since we still got some time left before lunch, I think it's time for your turn."
"Yeah, lets do it," said Nyx, as she headed to her piano.
"Alright, here we go," said Tails, as he got up to his drums.
"Ok Sonic heroes, lets do it," said Sonic.
Meanwhile Sunset was at the main hallway greeting the three new students of Canterlot High.
"Hello you three, I'm Sunset Shimmer."
The three girls looked at Sunset, then the girl with orange and yellow hair said.
"It's very nice to meet you I'm Adagio, and these are my friends, Aria, and Sonata."
"Well, I would like you three to know that Canterlot High is a great school, I know you are going to love it," said Sunset as she took the girls on a tour of the school.
"Oh yes, we really sense that there's something magical about this place," said Adagio, as she, Aria, and Sonata sniggered.
As Sunset, showed the sirens around the school she was naming all of the class rooms to them.
"Over there, that's the science lab, the computer lab is over there, oh we're having a musical showcase this weekend to raise money for charity the whole school is pretty much rally around it."
When the sirens heard this they smiled evilly.
"Uh, did you say a music showcase?" Asked Adagio.
"Yes, and I'm sure since your new here Principal Celestia will let you sign up if your entrusted," said Sunset.
"We have been known to sing from time to time," said Aria.
"Hello, we sing like all the time that's how we get people to do what we want," said Sonata.
After hearing that Aria, slapped Sonata, on the back of the head.
"What? What did I say?" Asked Sonata, as she rubbed her head.
"What you meant to say was that being in a musical showcase, sounds like great way to meet other students," said Adagio.
"Oh yeah, the what she said what I meant to say that's what I meant....to say," said Sonata.
"What you would've said if you weren't the worst," said Aria.
"You are," said Sonata.
Just then Adagio, moved in front of them.
"You'll have to excuse them, there idiots."
Then Sunset, noticed the amulets on the girls necks and said.
"Oh wow, those are pretty where did you....?"
Suddenly Adagio, moved Sunset's hand away from her amulet and said.
"Oh, I'm so sorry you see these pendant's mean an awful lot to us. We just hate for anything to happen to them."
With that, they walked away with Sunset at a lost for words. At lunch Sonic, Shadow, Tails, Nyx, and five of the main six were talking about the musical showcase when Sunset came and sat down with them.
"So, how was the tour Sunset?" Asked Applejack.
"I don't know Applejack, I mean these girls they were, there was something off about them," said Sunset.
"You mean like off like this or off like this?" asked Pinkie pie, as she did lots of crazy faces.
"Uh, maybe Pinkie, we should let her tell us," said Rainbow Dash, as she was looking at Sunset.
"That's just it you guys, I can't put my finger on it they just acted short of strange around me. Maybe someone already talked to them, told them what I did? Oh well, so much for making a first impression," said Sunset, as she put her head down on the table.
Fluttershy tried to help Sunsert.
"Well Sunset, don't worry that's probably normal."
Just then she got stares from everybody at the table.
"Don't worry Sunset, I'm sure you'll get friends here soon enough," said Sonic.
"Sonic is right Sunset, these things just take time," said Shadow.
"Yeah, and don't forget that we are your friends," said Nyx.
"I second that," said Tails.
Sunset looked at them with a little smile on her face.
"Thanks you guys, that means a lot to me."
Meanwhile, outside of the cafeteria the sirens were looking at all of the students in there.
"This is it girls, the moment we've been waiting for," said Adagio.
"Lunch?" asked Sonata excitedly.
When she said that Adagio, groan and then face palmed.
"No Sonata, the chance to get our true Equestrian magic back."
"Oh....right."
"Thanks to Chaos Phantom, our voices are strong enough to make them want something so badly they'll fight to get it," said Adagio, as she was looking in the cafeteria at the students.
"So we're just gonna do, what we did in Equestria? Stir up some trouble, and then feed off the negative energy? Some plain Adagio," said Aria.
Adagio, sighed and then said.
"Look Aria, it won't be like before. Remember there is Equestrian magic here, their negative energy will give us the power we need to get this entire world to do our biding."
"But we can get lunch after though right? It's taco Tuesday," said Sonata happily.
"Just follow my lead," said Adagio.
"Or my lead," said Aria.
Just then Adagio pulled on Aria's shirt and said with her teeth clinched.
"My....lead now come on."
"With that, they headed in the cafeteria to carry out their plain. Once they opened the cafeteria door they started to vocalize their voices.
(Let's have a battle, battle of the bands from Equestria Girls Rainbow Rocks starts to play)
As they were vocalizing Sonic, Shadow and the others were looking at them curiously, then everybody in the cafeteria all looked at them. Just then they started to sing.

As they continued to sing their amulets started to glow.

As the sirens continued to sing the student's started to argue.
Blueberry Cake: I can beat you!
The Dazzlings: Battle!
Cherry Crash: Ha! You wish!

Captain Planet: Not if I get it first!
[The sirens and students]

When they stopped singing the whole cafeteria was arguing except for Sonic, Shadow and the others.
"You were right Sunset, their is something strange about those girls," said Sonic.
Just then Rainbow Dash, spoke up and her voice was not pleasant.
"What's your problem Sonic?"
"Yeah, there is nothing wrong with those girls," said Rarity.
"Um I think that those girls are pretty cool," said Fluttershy.
"Yeah, and I think a battle of the bands is a great idea," said Applejack.
"That would be so much better then the showcase for charity that we were going to do," said Pinkie pie.
Sonic, Shadow, Nyx, and Tails couldn't believe what their friends were saying.
"Come on you guys, don't you see what's going on here?" Asked Shadow.
"Oh we know what's going on here Shadow," said Applejack.
"And that's, you four want all the fame and fortune to your selves," said Rainbow.
Nyx, couldn't believe what Dash just said.
"That's not true Dash."
"Oh don't you play innocent with us Nyx," said Rarity.
"Oh, don't waste your time with them Rarity, let's just go," said Applejack.
With that Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy left. Leaving Sonic, Shadow, Nyx, Tails, and Sunset all lost for words. After lunch they walked through the hallways discussing what happened.
"Those three are defiantly in possession of some kind of dark magic. I mean how else could you explain what happened back there and what happened to our friends?" Sunset asked.
"Don't worry Sunset, all we need to do is to tell Principal Celestia, all about this and those girls will be gone in no time," said Tails.
Once they got to Celestia's office they knocked on the door.
"Come in," said Celestia.
After hearing Celestia's voice Sonic, Shadow, Sunset, Tails, and Nyx came in.
"Oh hello you five, and what brings you here?" Celestia asked.
"Celestia? We think we have a problem here at the school," said Shadow.
With that they told Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna what happened at lunch. After they did Celestia said.
"Dark magic? I find that hard to believe."
"What? But why?" asked Nyx.
"Because Nyx, those girls came into my office earlier and were absolutely delightful."
Then Luna spoke up.
"Maybe Sunset Shimmer, is just egger to make someone else out to be a bad element, so her actions at the Fall Formal would become old news."
Sunset felt a little hurt when Vice Principal Luna said that but said
"I could see why you would think that Vice Principal Luna but...."
But before she could finish Sonic stepped in and said.
"That's not what's happening ma'am, we saw all of this go down at the cafeteria too."
"Yes, but isn't your band suppose to be part of the showcase?" Asked Celestia.
Sonic stuttered for a second and said.
"Yes."
"Well, perhaps you all are just worried that the Dazzling's, will steal your spotlight," said Luna.
"Uh, the Dazzling's?" Asked Tails.
"Yes, it's the name of their musical group. That's why they came by my office earlier to sign up for the showcase, even sang a little song to Vice Principal Luna and I," said Celestia.
After hearing that, the gang became worried.
"Uh, they did?" Asked Shadow nervously.
"Yes, and we think having a battle of the bands instead of a charity showcase is a marvelous idea," said Celestia.
Suddenly Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna's eye began to glow green.
"Oh, and one more thing before you leave, we decided that the crystal shaped heart will be the prize for the first place winner," said Luna.
After hearing that Sonic, Shadow, and the others gasped. After that they were outside thinking of what just happened in Principal Celestia's office.
"I can't believe those girls got to Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna too," said Sunset.
"They've gotten to everyone, including our friends," said Sonic.
"Yeah, but what about us? I mean why weren't we infected by their magic?" Asked Nyx.
"That is a good question Nyx, we were in the cafeteria when the Dazzling's were singing," said Shadow.
"Well, what ever the reason we need to stop them from taking over the school," said Sonic.
Then Tails had an idea.
"Maybe we can get a message to our friends in Equestria, that way they can tell us who the Dazzling's are."
"That would be a good idea Tails, except that the portal to Equestria is closed and it won't open in the next 30 moons," said Shadow.
"There has to be away that we can get a message to the Princesses, our friends, and to my mom," said Nyx.
Just then Sunset had an idea.
"I think know how we can get a message to Princesses and the others."
"Really, how?" Asked Sonic.
"Just follow me you guys."
With that Sonic, Shadow Nyx, and Tails followed Sunset back to the school. Once back in the school Sunset, opened her locker and started to look for something. Just then she came out of her locker with a book that had Sunset's pony cutie mark on it.
"When I was Princess Celestia's student, back in Equestria she gave me this," said Sunset, as she dusted off the book.
"Even after I abandoned my studies I held on to it, deep down I guess I knew I was making a big mistake and I wanted to still have away to reach out to her, so maybe it still works."
"Um I'm sorry to be rude Sunset, but um that's a book. What do you mean it still works?" Asked Tails.
"Well Tails, it use to be if I wrote something here it would appear in a page of a book in Princess Celestia's library. I get a message to her then she can wright a message back to me telling us what those girls are.
After hearing this Sonic, haled up a pen and said.
"So what are you waiting for Sunset? get to writing."
With that Sunset took the pen and looked at the book.
"Wow, It's been a long time since I written these words down," said Sunset, as she began to write.
Dear Princess Celestia.....
Meanwhile back in Equestria, Celestia and Luna were looking to find away to re-open the portal so Sonic, Shadow, Tails, and Nyx could get back after getting a letter from Twilight the day after the Crystal Heart was stolen.
"Did you find anything yet sister?" Celestia asked.
"No, not yet," said Luna.
As they continued to look though the books Luna saw that her sister was troubled by something.
"Sister, are you alight?"
"Yeah, it's just something puzzles me Luna."
"And what would that be?"
"Well it's this Chaos Phantom, like who created him and how did he get to the Crystal Empire?"
Before Luna could answer her, she saw a book glowing.
"Um sister?"
"Yes Luna, what is it?"
"Their is a book glowing on the top of the bookcase over there."
When Celestia looked up there was a book that was glowing.
("Can it really be?") Celestia asked herself.
Celestia used her magic and opened up the book.
"What is that book sister?" asked Luna.
"It's a book that I made so I can keep in touch with Sunset Shimmer, and it looks like an urgent message to me," said Celestia.
When she continued to read her eyes went to pin pricks and then after she was done she dropped the book. When she dropped the book Luna looked at her with concern in her eyes.
"Sister, what's wrong?"
Celestia looked at her sister and said.
"Luna? Their back."
"Who? Who's back sister?" asked Luna.
"The sirens."
After hearing that Luna's eyes went wide.
"The sirens? But that's impossible I thought Star Swirled took their powers away and banished them into another world?"
"Yes he did, and I think that the world he sent them to is where Sonic, Shadow, Tails, and Nyx are at," said Celestia
"Well that explains how they got there, but that still doesn't explained how they got their powers back?"
Celestia just shook her head and said.
"I'm not sure ether Luna, but what I do know is that Sunset, Sonic, and the others are in great danger."
"Then we must worn them," said Luna.
With that Celestia nodded and started to wright in the book to worn Sunset, Sonic, and the others about the sirens and the danger that they were in.
