Night stumbled through the almost dead trees, on the earthen path. She didn't know where she was and Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon had left her. Not only that, but she had a huge stinging pain in the back of her head. Trees rippled down her cheeks as she kept her head bowed down.

Snarl!

She gasped in fright, she knew what that was. It was a timberwolf. She turned to see not one but a pack of timberwolves in the trees behind her. She screamed and began running quickly along the dark path. She turned to the left, and saw light. She thought that she was going to get out of the woods but instead, the light changed into a clearing where a huge earth wall. She gasped, and turned.

The timberwolves were still behind her, and they were getting there quick. She glanced down at her fabric covered wings. Could she make it to the top of the wall, before the wolfs got to her. She had to try! With fright in her heart, she began to flap her wings only for nothing to happen and as a wolf jumped out of the trees, she backed into the wall. Her wings were useless.

The wolves grew closer, was this going to be her end. She had finally found happiness in a horrible world and that was all going to end. She didn't want that. Tears rolled down her cheek as she mumbled. ''Mommy.....''



Half an hour earlier, at the Rainbow Friendship Castle. Twilight was pacing across the floor of the throne room. She was worried about Night, the small filly hadn't come home with Nyx and still wasn't home and it had become night. She was thinking that something bad had happened to her and even called Rainbow to send a search out with a few other pegasi.

Nyx was said in her throne, that stood beside her mother's and had her cutie mark imprinted into it. She watched her mother pace with worry filled eyes. She was too worried about Night, the filly hadn't met up with her when she headed home, at first the 10 year old had thought that her adoptive sister had walked home alone but when the small filly wasn't at home, she became worried.

''What if she's been kidnapped, what if her parents have found her, what if...'' said Twilight, worriedly as she continued pacing.

''Mom, relax. I'm worried too, but working yourself up will not help her, will it?''

''She's right, Twi. Your working yourself up to much, I mean you have worn a hole in the floor already.'' said Spike, chuckling a little from the hole that Twilight had indeed worn into the floor but had the same worried-filled eyes that Nyx and Twilight processed.

''Twilight, there's no sign of Night.'' said Rainbow, as she came in sharing the mother-daughter pair's eyes.

''She could be anywhere, if she's not in Ponyville!'' cried Twilight.

''Mom, like I said. Relax, don't you have a location spell that you used before you found me?''

''Oh yea, I forget. I guess I worked myself up that I forget about it. Thanks, Nyx.''

The mare's horn light up but a shout interrupted the mare's concentration. ''You don't have to use that spell just yet, I know where she is!''

The two mares, the filly and dragon looked to the entrance to the throne room to see a silver colored earth pony. Nyx gasped in shock and mouthed. ''Silver Spoon, you know where sis is?''

''Yeah....me...and Diamond...wanted to teach her...a lesson for her...into break questions....and we sorta.....sent her into the Everfree.....'' mumbled Silver. ''Diamond then hit the small....filly on the head with a rock.....''

Twilight walked over to the filly, and raised her hoof. Silver flinched, but blinked when no hoof hit her. She looked up and Twilight hugged her saying. ''Thank you for telling me. You're very brave to come here, knowing that you could possibly be punished. Wait here for the time being, I'll be back'' Twilight then turned to her friends and family. ''I'm going to find her, give this filly a few cookies as a sign of my appreciation.''

''Okay, Twi. But will you be fine?'' asked Rainbow, with a concerned tone.

''Rainbow, I have been in the forest before. I know what I'm doing but I have to go save my daughter.'' The mare didn't even realize what she had called Night, but it didn't matter to her.



Night was still cowering. The wolves had her cornered. She looked around for something, she didn't even have her wand on her so that didn't help. She saw a rock and picked it up. The filly looked at it before weakly throwing it at the Timberwolves. Because of how weak the throw and aim was, it missed and the wolves grew closer.

Tears continued rolling down the small filly's face as she closed her eyes. Suddenly a blast of magenta light hit her closed eyelids, forcing them to open. In front of her, she saw Twilight using a spell to repel the wolves. The spell worked and the wolves retreated. Night breathed a sigh of relief before she leaped at Twilight yelling. ''Mommy!''

Twilight gasped a little, before she hugged the small filly. She stroked the filly's beautiful but now ragged mane and saw the blood that ran through it. This Diamond Tiara was evil, to this to a filly who has already severed enough. She felt some muscles relax, and she looked down. Night was unconscious, the emotions must have gotta the better of the small child.

She smiled, at least the filly was safe and alive and that was all that mattered, but still she had to do something about that filly, Diamond Tiara but what?
