Pretty Enjoyable Night

" So do you know how you even got in the woods? " I had asked Fluttershy, to get a sense of what happened to make my most favorite fictional character to come to life.

" All I remember is that we were at the Castle with twilight and then a loud boom came from outside,followed by a bright light .then I woke up in your bed as a human " she said then shrugged.

" Wait why aren't you weirded out,by the fact that i'm a strange creature called a human" I asked because that was one of the most odd things you would expect her to be like what are you a hairless ape or a mutant pony, something along those lines but no she was completely okay with human.

" Well, twilight talked about these things called humans and she said that they were majestic,animals with thumbs and fingers. Though i thought she was a little crazy, she said when she went to get her crown from-"

"sunset shimmer"i blurted out cutting her off.

" Yeah, but wait how come you take to me being a pony so well, and how do you know about equestria? "she asked starting to get nervous of me again.

" Well you know how everyone, I mean everypony thought that the mare in the moon was just an old pony tale. Well, that's what we thought equestria was a fairy tale, but apparently that isn't true, it seems that some fairy tales have some truth in them " I said explaining the whole deal in a way she could comprehend.

" Okay that makes sense." she said and relaxed her nerves she laid back down and I heard a loud rumble coming from her stomach.

" Lets get you something to eat shall we? " I asked escorting her to the door.

"Um, thanks " she said heading out the door I followed behind and headed up the stairs. Cayle who had been watching the television eyes snapped right on to fluttershy he stood up and fixed his hair and began to act like a perv.

" Damn Alex wasn't kidding when he said he found a girl in the woods, my names cayle what's yours " he asked Fluttershy she gave me a look and mouth the word help. I came to her aid just in time

" Her name is Shy...Shy..hmm ah her names Shyla "i said then gave myself a mental facepalm thinking what the hell type of name is Shyla. Cayle seemed to buy it.

" Nice to meet you Shyla " Cayle said then gave her a wink. I gave him the don't even think about it look, which I have had to give many times before. He raised his hands up

" Okay i will back off " he said with a slight chuckle,then sat back down and started watching TV again. We walked into the kitchen and I pulled out the cheese pizza and put it in the microwave I turned around and leaned on the counter

" So do you eat cheese or no, because I know you're all herbivores where you come from " I asked Fluttershy because I didn't want to feed her meat she was still technically a pony in mind and spirit so eating meat would be close to cannibalism.

" Nah we eat cheese and drink milk,how do you think we make cupcakes " she said with a small giggle

" Eh good point " I said. Then I heard a ding meaning that the pizza was done. I pulled out the plate and sat it on the table and pulled the chair out for Fluttershy to sit.

"Dinner is served " I said with a small chuckle she smiled and sat down I sat in the seat across from hers she picked the pizza up with her mouth then dropped it

" Ouch too hot " she said then rubbed her tongue with her fingers.

" Yeah you're supposed to use your hands that's why, here like this " I walked over and grabbed her hand. I helped her grasp the pizza I looked down to see her face was red with embarrassment

" Um...sorry " I said letting go of her hand and sat back in my seat.

"Thats alright I know you were only trying to help " she said still red faced. My mom walked threw the door.

"Alex I need help with the grocer... " my mom stopped talking and just stared at fluttershy who was still wearing my pajamas. Then she looked at me.

" Mom its not what you think " i was cut off by my mom at that moment.

" Its not what I think, then tell me what am I looking at her why is this girl in your clothing. and why is she even, with you she seems way out of your league." That little bit stung but at the last part i knew she was making joke for Fluttershy's benefit, you see my mom is never really an angry person,she usually makes jokes to soften the pain she is about to deal you, but i find the jokes more painful because she is just picking on me .

" Mom this is Shyla, I found her unconscious in the woods. I couldn't just leave her there , it just wouldn't be right.
so I brought her here and gave her a change of clothes,and so on and so forth." I said trying to relax a little because I was half expecting mom to pull a baby picture of me naked to show Fluttershy just to embarrass me.

" So where do you live, do you remember? " my mom asked Fluttershy and Fluttershy shook her head I jumped to her defense.

" Mom, can I talk to you in private? " I asked my mom nodded and we stepped out the front door.

" Mom she has nowhere to go can she please stay here until she can find a way back, please? " I begged I would have literally gotten on my hands and knees and would have begged like a puppy if thats what it would have took.

" Alex, where would she sleep, and she has no clothes you can't have her just roaming around in those all day " my mom said referring to my tattered pajama pants and my brony T shirt .

" Mom I have enough money to get her clothes and she can stay in my room and I will just sleep on the couch downstairs.see mom I got this, I thought about this before you got back, mom please" I begged some more this time she caved .

" Alright just no sleeping in the same bed I will be sure to check on you two" my mom said then gave my the im watching you hand gesture.

" Mom you should be more worried about cayle, he is the big pervert of the family " I said half joking half serious. when it came to cayle he was always the one who was getting in trouble about sneaking into the girls locker room or hitting on senior girls when he was only in eighth grade.

" Thats what im worried about,I trust you I just don't trust your actions " she said in a philosophical way.

" Hey philosophy is my thing, you can't just steal it, and what the hell kind of haiku was that you just contradicted yourself over trusting me " I said then laughed.

" The apple doesn't fall far from the tree "she said trying again.

" Yeah if the tree was the same height as you " I said picking on her about how she is four foot nine.

" Alex get out of here before I change my mind " she said trying to threaten me.we walked back inside and fluttershy was sitting on the love seat watching what appeared to be..on no my mind thought please not be my little pony I jumped in front of the screen to see Spongebob and Patrick blowing bubbles I let out a sigh I was unsure how the show would affect her i mean she understood television and the fact that she was from a fairy tale as how I put it, but still did not know how the reaction would affect her. I stepped out of the way and sat down next to her she smiled her softly.

" So? " she asked.

" You can stay here with us untill i find you away back " I said with a smile. she gave me a tight hug.

" Oh thank you thank you thank you " she said the released her death grip. I gasped for air then smiled. her long soft pink hair whipped me in the face as she pulled away the smell of strawberries filled my nose. then I snapped back to reality.

" No problem,this weekend i'm going to go get you some clothes if you want to come with?"I said.

" I'd love to " she said softly. it started to get real late fast so i had to show her accommodations for her stay.

" You will have my room for as long as you're here, I will be right out here if you need me. " I said she smiled and slipped under the bed covers.

" Thank you " she said and that made my heart melt, things were moving too fast for anything to set in but when it finally did i couldn't believe it. I was helping fluttershy the real fluttershy she was staying in my house .I smiled at her and nodded then laid on the couch and dozed off to sleep. around three, three thirty i was shook awake by Fluttershy.

" What,what's wrong " I grumbled still half asleep.

" Im scared to be alone could you come lay with me until I fall asleep "she asked and gave me sad puppy eyes

" Alright until you fall asleep " I said then got up and followed her into my bedroom i covered her up and laid next to her.

" Fluttershy? "I asked

" Yeah? " she replied and turned to face me.

" Can.. I play with ,your hair? "I asked it was something my mom did, when I couldn't sleep when i was younger so I wondered if it would work on her.

" Sure?" she said quizzically and rolled back over. I slowly began to run my fingers thru her long soft hair. Not before long I heard her kitten mew of a snore. I smiled then fell back to sleep awaiting the new days to come where just as sweet.
