Chapter 4 “Escape
Day three the weather was hot all the ponies kept an eye on Rainbow dash as she huffed and tried to cool herself down without food or water for three days. They weren't happy felt so bad for her being out there in the heat she felt very dry. Her throat been bothering her so dry that it didn't feel well.
With a good sense of hearing she heard a gulp there that bossy mean the captain was holding his water bottle drinking he let some water droplets run down his neck. Rainbow Dash focus on the water she was licking her lips she wanted a drink bad.
Captain looked at her as she quickly turned her head away like she didn't pay attention. Sergeant Captain called as a Sergeant ran to him.
“Yes sir?”
“How long has she been on the post?” The sergeant looked at Rainbow Dash and looked back.
“Uhhhh three days sir.”
“Good get her ready.” The captain said as he walked away.
“Uhhhh sir are you sur–”
“Do what I say Sergeant!” Interrupted the Captain and turned around as he snarled at him, Sargent sighed.
“Yes sir... “
So then Rainbow Dash was all ready for the captain as he hopped on her back and kicked her sides as she began to buck him off he held on tightly. Rainbow Dash trotted fast to a fence to get him off she did but he merely chuckled. The Captain kept his grip on Rainbow Dash which made her mad so she trotted to another one again he didn't fall off.
He whipped her and kicked her sides again. This angered Dash even more this time and she slammed to the ground to see if that help but it did not.
She stopped breathing deep as the captain smirking as he pat her while she was shaking light tap on her as she understand to walk around catching her breath.
The Captain smirked and looked up at the other men. “You see gentlemen? Every pony can be broken.” He tap her lightly as she start to walk around, while he was talking to his soldiers.
Dash looked at the other pony who had disappointed on their faces and turned their head away as they thought she wasn't tough anymore, well she know she knew that she was tough so she stopped abruptly.
She looked up at the Captain; he had an angered look plastered on his wrinkled face. He kicked hard as she bit his leg.
“ARGH!!!!” The captain yelled from the pain starting to come with that chance she bucked more, but the Captain was stubborn, still holding on, then Dash went to the fence and raised herself and Captain up.
The saddle broke off as the Captain held on to her ears face to face he was scared. She neighed a little and pulled back and he flew in the air. She looked as the Sergeants went to their Captain to help him up she immediately open her wings and flew in the sky.
She escape fly fast.
Bang!
Missed.
She looked down seeing some soldiers on their ponies trying to shoot her, she pushed herself fast to lose them. The ponies slowed down as they were losing their breath as Rainbow Dash went faster, she looked back lost them and she knew she was free and heading to go home.
She stopped at a stream she took a drink oh what a relief it was she was tired so she leaned up next to a tree she still felt weak and slowly fell asleep.
Applebloom was on her way to the stream while carrying a bucket as she scooped some water about to turn back to Sweet Apple Acres, but before she did she spotted Rainbow Dash.
“Oh my gosh she doesn't look to good I have to go get my sister Applejack and my brother Big Macintosh.”
She quickly grabbed the bucket of water and galloped to her home. Apple jack and Big Mac were bucking some apple.
“Hooo wee! These apples are looking good.” Applejack smiled at her apples.
“Eeyup.” Big Mac replied back. They both notice Applebloom was galloping fast towards them.
“Strange Applebloom doesn't gallop when fetching some water.”
Applejack wondered and Applebloom arrived to them and put the bucket down panting.
“Guys I spotted a Pegasus near by a stream and she doesn't look good.”
Big mac and Applejack looked at each other as they nodded.
“Bring us there Applebloom.” Applejack ordered. Applebloom directed them to Rainbow Dash.
“Poor girl she must be so tired.”
“Eeyup.” Big Mac said again. They went to Rainbow Dash Applejack to exam here.
“She doesn't look good let’s get her back to the barn.” They took the bridle off her face put her on Big Mac back and off they went to their barn. They put her inside called a doctor from ponyville to stop by and see Rainbow Dash. The doctor arrived they directed him to the barn and closed the door.
Applejack was walking back and forth for she was nervous. Ten minutes passed the doctor came out with his bag and looked at Applejack.
“She is very weak and I can tell she hasn't eaten or drank for days she must stay here till she is fully recovered and I would like to see her in three weeks.”
Applejack nodded. “Will do doc.”
“Take care ma’am” He said and he trotted back to ponyville.
Author note: Well it’s great that Dash is free from the Cavalry but has to stay in Sweet apple Acres for couple weeks how is she going to handle that?
