It was finally the day I dreaded. The 1st day for my new job. I mean Suri makes her sound like the bossy princess of showing off and after that scene today I'm taking Suri's word for it. My new house is comfy actually reminds me of the Crystal Empire. My 1st day in Ponyville was unexpected I sat for a minute in my bed when I woke up to review the day before.
Yesterday it was like a puzzle. Pinkie Pie who Suri called a freak of partying welcomed and actually super nice but crazy in a good way. I luckily was able not to meet Rarity or the others but instead got a tour around the main attractions of Ponyville so with a heavy bag of cakes from the bakery (I have a giant sweet tooth) I finally go to my house and fell asleep on my bed without taking off my armor or pulling up the sheets.
I groaned and rolled out of my bed. I gently flew to the dresser and barely brushed my mane and then put my helmet on. I ran out the door grabbing the letter to Twilight (shudder) about me working there (I rather become roommates with Tirek in Tarturus). I flew off, flying high in the sky.
The wind in my feathers. The speed pulsing in my veins. If you want to be a castle guard you gotta be fast (especially if the castle gets attacked) and I live for speed. Finally I got to the castle. I abruptly stopped and fluttered straight down to hear a crowd whisper behind me. I knocked on the door and hear some scuffling noises and looked down to see the dragon (Spike I think) open the door.
"Ugh what do you want? Twilight told me everything that happened when you were her," Spike skeptically asked.
" I'm here to help," I cheerfully faked, my words a little muffled cause of the letter in my mouth.
"SPIKE!!" I heard Twilight shout.
She galloped down the stairs, her (maybe) to-do list levitating beside her.
"What do you want?" she asked giving me a look that said I'm not happy you're here.
I handed her the letter and swiftly with her magic, she opened the envelope up and tugged the letter out. Her eyes sped across the text as she read the note quietly. Twilight folded the note again and stuffed it in the envelope.
"Okay. The past is in the past. Welcome!," She spoke her "look" easing to a relaxed smile.
Her smile actually looked pretty. Maybe I should've been nicer. Wait! Stop Flash! Just do your job remember Suri! Remember Suri!
"Thank you Princess Twilight, what shall I do for you," I replied in the most serious tone possible.
Twilight can't trick me. Not today! Not EVER!
"Ummm... Spike any ideas?" Twilight replied shrugging to Spike.
Maybe she isn't such a know it all after all. But don't take chances.
"I maybe have an idea," he slyly replied looking at me with a look I don't like.
"So the whole castle," I answered angrily.
"Yup,now I gotta send some letters to the princesses and prepare the lunch" Spike replied and left as I...started mopping the whole castle.
I think Spike doesn't like me. Wait did he say prepare lunch for probably Rarity and the others. Well...this is just great. I try thinking about the positives but Suri says they're just show offs but what happens if my own girlfriend is the mean one. Things better start shaping up or else.
