We look in on Ponyville as its inhabitants are waking up to a fine morning all except for our six protagonist what became of their eggs let's find out
It was early in the morning when a certain boutique owner was waking up, she had a big day ahead of her. Rarity had many clothes to design and make on this day, she softly stirred in her bed before turning to face where her egg once laid only to find cracked eggshells and a mysterious black creature with big yellow eyes.
An ear piercing shriek could be heard across Ponyville as the newborn creature both surprised and scared Rarity do to its appearance and it suddenly being there, she quickly backs away,sliding off her bed but as she was about to leave she heard it crying like a child who had lost its mother. Slowly and cautiously she neared the crying creature before holding her hooves out to pick it up, " It's alright d..don't cry i didn't mean to scream you just startled me, " she looks at the creature as its cries turn to small sniffles and it begins to nestle itself against her body, " you were just afraid weren't you, well no need anymore now you've got someone to look after you, "she placed the baby creature on her back before heading downstairs. "We've got a busy day ahead of us darling so are you ready to be mommie's little helper, " the baby bounced up and down in excitement, then after it settled down it began to blow bubbles. Rarity stared almost awestruck at the sight, the infant was blowing bubbles as if it were natural although the longer she watched the more a smile began to develop on her face.
"You certainly are a surprising little thing aren't you I'm sure Sweetie will love to meet you, " and with this the two went on and started their day. The day was going fine a few people were surprised by the infants appearance but the rest just said " aww and how adorable", all things seemed to stop suddenly when the sound of a stomach rumbling interrupted Rarity's train of thought as she was designing an outfit for her little bundle of joy, " My word you must be terribly hungry come on lets get you something to eat, " she lifts the baby botamon onto her back and carries him to the kitchen where she begins browsing for food , but while she did this the infant began it's own search for food. It quickly eyed a bowl of cat food then began to bounce its way over there eventually bouncing off the counter into the bowl where it began to gorge itself . Rarity took no notice of this until she heard a hiss, she turned her head to see the sound and what she saw made her eyes widen in fear, Opal had seen the strange new creature eating her food and would not stand for this so she slowly neared the puff ball claws extended prepared to get rid of the intruder. Before Rarity could run to save her newborn a bright light had stopped her and opal, when the light faded no longer did her puffball sit there but instead a little pink creature she could only describe as " if a ball had grown long rabbit ears, a mouth , and eyes".
A similar phenomenon is occurring at Fluttershy's cottage
The animal caretaker of Ponyville was just then waking up, having heard the shriek of one of her best friends but before she could react to the sound she noticed the pieces of eggshell spread about her bed, she frantically looked around the room looking for any traces of the newborn until she saw a bubble float between her eyes, and then another and another until she traced them down to a pink creature that was sitting right underneath her muzzle.
She simply stared in marvel at the strange creature for a few moments , having never seen such a thing in her life. After taking those moments to stare at it she picked it up and held it in a motherly grasp rocking it back and forth, "Well aren't you just the cutest little thing that I've ever seen, so you were the baby from the egg I brought home, " before she could say anything else to it the infants stomach began to rumble, "Oh goodness I'm sorry, I didn't know you were hungry come on lets get you something to eat, " said Fluttershy as she gently carries the infant downstairs to feed it. Once downstairs she began picking out an assortment of foods from fruits to vegetables, not knowing what the baby ate was the difficult part of this cause she didn't know what it would and wouldn't like. She then eyed it inching its way towards a cupcake that Pinkie had left there her last visit, it finally reached the morsel and then began eating as much as its little mouth would let it, she couldn't help but smile at the way it ate. She watched until it had eaten it all but as soon as it ran out the infant began to cry, "You must still be hungry here let's fix that , " she picked it up, kissed it above its eyes and sat it on the table. Fluttershy then placed a bowl of fruit in front of the hungry newborn, it looked at the bowl for a few seconds before devouring the contents in a few seconds, it let out a little burp but then it started to glow brightly. What sat there afterwords was not the pink baby she was just feeding but instead a furry ball with red eyes a mouth that housed 2 teeth and atop its head was a horn that curved in an odd way, she just stared at her hatching before walking over to it only for it to smile at her.
At Sweet Apple Acres another egg has hatched what lied within it.
Applejack had just woken up to A similar sight as the other two had except her newborn was up front and eager to meet the person who helped hatch it, she looked into the eyes of the creature that of which came form the egg.
"Well I'll be if you ain't the strangest little thing I've ever laid my eyes on..i reckon your the little feller who came outta that there egg, " the baby bounced up and down in response, "Well someones as hyper as Pinkie at a party, cmon little..er fur ball thing you must be downright hungry, " she picked it up, placed it on her back and went downstairs. Once downstairs she was greeted by a filly, her little sister.
"Good mornin applejack I thought I'd make ya some breakfast since Granny Smith and Big Mac went into tow- " her words were cut short as she spotted the purple fur ball resting on her sisters back,she quickly rushed over to her sister and started eyeballing it, "Big sis!! where in Equestria did you get that thing from hes soo cute!!! " squealed Apple bloom.
Applejack had to cover her ears the squeal was so loud, "Now Apple bloom he ain't no toy or a pet now don't go botherin him, now if you wanna help then get me a bowl for this little feller, " once the bowl was sat in front of of the baby Applejack poured some freshly made applesauce into it and waited to see if it would taste it. The baby digimon sniffed the contents of the bowl before scarfing it down happily leaving it with a tummy full of food and a smile on its face, "Well i guess we found out what the feller eats, if its apples you love then you found the right place to stay partner, " after saying this her little companion starts bouncing out of excitement before it suddenly starts glow, when the light fades they take notice to how much the little ball of fur has changed into another fur ball but instead of purple its blue with a big M on its head, it has cat ears and a cat tail, "I sure hope that there is normal ".
At Sugar Cube Corner events were different from the past three
Pinkie Pie, unlike her friends had stayed up all night eagerly awaiting her egg to hatch and when time finally came she was as giddy as a school filly, she became twic-, "Um mister narrator sir can I be THREE times as excited, " uh..she became three times as excited as before when she saw what popped out of the egg.
"YOU ARE JUST TOOOOO CUTE ohmygoshohmygoshyoulooklikechocolateiwonderwhattonameyoumaybecoco, " her non-stop talking was paused by the infant in her hooves squirming, when she let it go it began to bounce around wildly like a rubber ball that was thrown across a box shaped room. Without a second of hesitation Pinkie quickly joined her new friend in bouncing till they suddenly stopped with both of them having smelt something good baking downstairs, they then started bouncing again but this time with the intent of finding the smell. "Ooo oo I wonder what smells so yummy I wonder if its cupcake oh or what if its cake, or cookies or what if its all of the above! " she grabbed her bouncy friend and zoomed into the kitchen to find a fresh batch of cupcakes left out to cool. "Hmmmmmmm I guess it wouldn't hurt if you had one eenie teenie tiny cupcake I mean you dooo look hungry enough, " she grabbed the smallest cupcake and put it in front of the bouncy baby who in turn ate it in one bite then bounced towards the pan the others sat on and ate them all one by one, with all the cupcakes eaten the newborn then stopped its hyper activity and fell asleep for a few minutes,"Hmm? that's strange whenever i eat that many cupcakes sleep is the only thing I cant do, " she was about to speak again when suddenly her Pinkie senses kicked in..something was about to happen, but what. Soon the bouncing baby woke up to a smiling Pinkie in it's face but before she could utter a word a bright light caught her by surprise, when it was gone she no longer saw the bouncing baby but a similar bouncing thing with the same three horns, same colored body but it had appeared to have grown. "Whatever happened to you...IT MADE YOU FOUR TIMES AS CUTE!!! " she said as she picked it up and held it in a tight hug.
However things were not so exciting at rainbow dashes cloud home, her egg was missing
"Where is it where is it where is it!! " when Rainbow Dash had woken up she woke up to a shock her egg wasn't where she left it, in fact it was no where in her house no where she could think of to look anyway, "this isn't good not one bit, oh if Twilight finds out I lost that egg shes gonna-" before she could finish her sentence she spotted something that resembled her egg but it wasn't in her home no it was in the claws of a griffon. Without a second to waste she blasted out of her door at breakneck pace and straight down at the thief, when she had him in her sight she put all caution to the wind and went full speed slamming into him and sending her egg rolling till it safely sat itself in a pile of hay. After scaring off the egg thief Rainbow flew down to her egg and picked it up holding it in her hooves to see if it were damaged, at first her heart seemed to stop because there was a crack in her egg but she regained her composure once she saw it wasn't broken..but instead it was hatching. What came out of the egg even made Rainbow Dash want to saw aw.
"Whoa if I knew you would be so cool looking I would've said that egg I picked was forty percent cooler, " she rubbed the little one on its top. "Only question now is how fast are you kiddo, " with this being said the baby got a daring look on its face and hopped out of her hoof, it then took off as fast as it could although it wasn't very fast it was a lot faster than she first anticipated, "Whoa for something without and legs or wings that was pretty fast, " said rainbow dash as she praised the hatching. Having heard the praise the baby made a squealing noise out of its over all excitement, it seemed to shake with hyper activity and energy. Rainbow dash turned around for a moment to think about something when suddenly her train of thought was cut off by a shining light , when the light died down she turns around to find an all new creature. It stood on 2 little legs with 2 stubby arms and on its head wasn't one prong shaped object but two making it look like he had horns, "Now that is what I call forty percent cooler ".
And lastly we move on over to the library where Twilight Sparkle is about to wake up face to face with her own little monster
Twilight Sparkle was the last of her friends to wake up and out of any of them she was also the most surprised, she had awoken late in the morning from having stayed most of the night which meant she wasn't quite in the mood for surprises sadly today did not seem to be her day. She awoke to the sound of laughter and it happened to be coming from Spike but before she could go check it out her eyes fell upon the hatched egg. The next thing she did was run upstairs to look, "Spike?! the egg hatched and I cant find i- " she found both things she was looking for her number one assistant and her mystery creature, it looked nothing like she had expected it to look like.
Spike continued to laugh as the mystery creature crawled over him as if were a part of a play ground, "h..hey hahah q..quit it Twilight..make it..make it stop hahah, " Twilight rolled her eyes and used her magic to bring the creature over to her. She brought it up to her eye level to look at it but instead it blasted her in the face with a flurry of small bubbles, making the creature and Spike laugh at her.
"Well I guess there goes the theory hat a super intelligent being laid in that egg..well either way your still cute..whatever you are "gasp" I know lets go do some studies maybe then i can figure out what you are, " she took off with the creature to her study leaving Spike alone.
"Hey what about me!!.. I never get to have any fun with the cool things you bring home" pouted spike as he crossed his arms and sat on the floor.
In her study Twilight was looking the creature over at every possible angle getting an image of its whole shape in her head to memorize for later. "Strange you seem to be composed of a gelatinous substance but your also solid and you have to possess some for of digestive track I mean where else did you pack away that sandwich I had planned to eat for lunch, " she looked over the notes she took when she felt something rub against her, the same creature whom squirted bubbles in her face for amusement was now cuddling up against her. She could feel a warmth coming from within it a warmth she and her friends we're very familiar with,Friendship. She then got an idea, she picked up a quill with her magic and began writing, the letter stated this.
Dear Princess Celestia,
It has come to my attention that an anomaly has occurred in Ponyville and possibly other areas of Equestria. My friends and i stumbled across 6 eggs which had been thrown from very rift that spread across the entire night sky last night, each one of us took an egg home though by now I'm sure my egg isn't the only egg to have hatched by now. From what I've pulled together so far I've concluded that the creatures whom resided inside the eggs are anything but hostile, in fact they're quite friendly and cute at that but never mind that the creatures themselves must come in different shapes and sizes as the eggs were different in design. They also seem to carry the warmth that is friendship inside them from what I have felt inside the creature in my possession. Now onto the final matter about last nights light show, we saw more than just the eggs crash towards the ground we saw what seemed to be hundreds maybe thousands of more lights. I fear more creatures came along with these eggs I bring this up cause some of them may not be hostile while others might be very aggressive and even violent. I send this letter as an informant so that an answer as to what the creatures are and where they come from, can be found,

"There all done number one assistant if you will send this to the Princess immediately ," with no question asked Spike did as he was asked and sent the letter to the princess, "With that out of the way it's time to get back to the studies, " she turned to investigate her little creature again only to find it wasn't looking so well.
"Twilight what did you feed him? he looks sick, " chided spike.
"I..I only gave him some of my sandwich he seemed happy with it I wonder whats wrong with him, " their pondering was cut short by a bright flash. When the light died down there was no longer a little blob but what stood there made both Twilight and Spike's jaws drop. the green baby blob had changed into a pink thing with two big round eyes a small mouth and two little arms.
And for a split moment while all these events were going on the members of the Main Six said the exact same words at the Exact same time.
" What and Who are you exactly?!
To Rarity the pink rabbit eared creature said, "My names Koromon! "
To Fluttershy the horned fur ball said "I'm Tsunomon! "
to Applejack and Apple bloom the blue cat creature said "My name is Wanyamon, "
To Pinkie Pie the chocolate covered bouncing creature said " Hiya! my names!!! KOKOMON!! "
To Rainbow Dash the blue lizard like creature said in a squeaky voice " My names Demiveemon and I'm the coolest! "
And lastly to the awestruck Twilight sparkle the pink being stated "Greetings my name is Motimon, "
The digimon stated one thing at the same time
" And I'm A Digimon! a Digital monster!!
