A few more years passed and Scootaloo became more of a mare. The rainbow from Dash's grave was still there and was assumed permanent. Over the years people put so much Wonderbolts stuff on her grave it was almost buried in merchandise. Scootaloo however, was the only pony who did not put Wonderbolt stuff by the grave. Instead, she put a scrapbook containing pictures of all the adventures she and Rainbow had.
Scootaloo chuckled and said
"You were never going to leave me were you Dash?"
She figured the rainbow was Dash's way of staying by her even though she no longer had a physical form. Everyday Scootaloo went to visit Dash's grave and told her everything that happened. She knew that Rainbow was there, listening to every little thing she had to say. Scootaloo was still upset at times but, in the end she knew she couldn't stay upset as she had to "stay strong and buck up". At least, that's what Rainbow would have said. And just recently Rainbow was made an honorary Wonderbolt.
If you go to the Wonderbolt's Hall of Fame, you will see Dash's picture there with a caption that reads: "A magnificent pony taken away from us too early. She saved our life multiple times and we are honored to call her a Wonderbolt."
"Looks like you finally got your wish Dash..." Scootaloo said with a smile and teary eyes.
It was only recently discovered that Rainbow actually left a will, as nopony wanted to go into her house as they were too sad at the time, but when they found it it read: "Dearest Friends, if you are reading this then that means I have bit the dust and you have gotten over your sadness enough to come and look through my things. Even though she cannot fly yet, I want my house and my Wonderbolt's merchandise to go to Scootaloo. As for Tank, I'm giving him back to Fluttershy. My bits, heck they can be evenly distributed to my friends."
It said more but Scootaloo was too busy thinking about how Rainbow gave her her house at the time to listen to anymore. She was planning to move into her house soon but she was still too emotional about it to do it. She figured she'll wait a while before moving in to it.
Scootaloo went to her gave again and talked to her about how the Wonderbolt's use her as an example in their training.
"...They show videos and everything!" Scoots exclaimed "Everypony looks up to you Rainbow Dash!"
She hugged the grave and in that moment, in that very moment, she felt somepony hug her back.
"I love you sister"
