I don't really remember anything accept that I went to the hospital. Guess I got a bit overprotective of Euphony, but who blames her when she was a sweetheart to me. Euphony isn't bad if she were she would've bullied me right? The room was quite and my words echoed in my head as I just thought about Euphony, why do I keep thinking of her she must be fine.
"Theia!" yelled a draquenequess- hybrid. Oh my gosh! He scared me, why would he scream it was so peaceful in the room, no noise, no ponies playing outside. I mean it doesn't bother me that people play, but evertime I heard ponied playing and enjoy there day, while I was stuck in my house.
"Gah! Destiny you scared me!" I yelled.
"Sorry," said Destiny, nervously. "I heard your mother shot you with her magic..."
"Ugh," I sighed. To be honest, I didn't really remember anything... only when I told Euphony to run.
"You ok?I'm sorry," asked Destiny, getting a bit closer to me. Why sorry? You weren't the one with all the fault?
I turned my back over to show Destiny the hole I had in my back.
"Ooh... it's really bad," Destiny hissed.
"Mmm... I know...," I replied, turning over to my original position.
"What happened to get the princess all worked up?" asked Destiny.
"A girl named Euphony wa-"
"Euphony? As in Euphony?" asked Destiny, surprised.
What was wrong with Euphony!? She is a good friend, why is everyone having doubts about her! First my mom and know what my crush!?
"Euphony is the daughter of one of the Sirens," said Destiny. I shivered a bit, I knew this wasn't going to go well. "Ponies say she is the daughter of the leader Adagio Dazzle."
Oh no that's why my mother protected me in the first place and that's why Euphony told me if I could let her paint the walls, she wanted my mother to know Adagio Dazzle is back and better than ever. How could I not suspected her, no wonder why she gave me a shove.
"That's why my mother said I should stay away from her!" I exclaimed.
"What did you do honey?" asked Adagio Dazzle.
"Everything, mother," replied Euphony.
"That's my daughter!" exclaimed Adagio. "Now that blind pony will stay in the hospital while her mother cares for her and we take over everyponies energies!"
"Yeah," said Euphony.
"Now of to bed, you got something to do tomorrow," laughed her mother.
"Yeah," sighed Euphony. Euphony had something inside her she had never felt, care she truly cared about me, she was blind to what she saw right in front of her eyes Friendship! She finally saw that Theia cared for her deeply and that's why she told me to stay away from her mother. Instead of dying she lived because of Theia and Theia had to pay all the broken plates that she did.
I couldn't believe it, a siren right in front of me! Thanks all to my stupid blindness, why should I even live! I should've been somepony's else daughter instead of someone important. I should'v-
"T-Theia?" asked a mare. Euphony! Why was I so excited she is a siren! A deadly siren!
"Euphony," I said.
"Theia I'm so sorry you had to pay for this," said Euphony, with tears in her eyes. "Thank you!"
It was beautiful, finally a pony who hugged me for who I am and for what I did. It almost feel like if I already told her I was blind and she still accepted me that way. For once in my life I was so happy I just wish the hug will last forever. I cried as she hugged me tighter.
"I'm so sorry you got hurt, it should've been me," said Euphony. I don't really care if Euphony is a siren or that I got hurt because of her. No it doesn't matter I finally had a frien that I made on my own, not with ponies saying can you be my friend? No I made a friend all on my own... and I was for once in my life happy. Probably I didn't get my wish of being able to see again, but at least I got a friend, a happy friend that likes me for who I am.
In the morning I woke up happy and of course I had to get some surgery. Destiny was actually glad I was smiling and not sad. I remembered what Euphony said "It should've been me". No Euphony, if it weren't for you I would've never know what I would've done.
The day passed and I was still happy, my first friend that I ever made. It was awesome! Ouch! i guess I should calm myself.
"Haha," I laughed. Tears began to roll down my cheeks, I was crying not because of sadness, nor anger, it's because I made a new friend I was so happy. How could you not be happy when your blind and your parents are royal beings? You may not feel how blind ponied see, but can you feel it? I guess you can since I'm telling you how blind I am.
The night began to roll and everything was dark in my room, but I saw the light.
"Theia!" said Euphony.
"Euphony!" I whispered.
"I heard that your friend told you about me...," sighed Euphony. "I guess you don't want to be-"
"Euphony, I do, but promise me you'll never leave me," I said, taking Euphony's hoof.
"I-I-I, ahh," cried Euphony, hugging me again. "No matter what, I will always be there for you."
Her reaction said more than a thousand words. I don't need to be a princess to have friends, I ccan have friends even if I'm blind, but I was clearly blind more than I am all I needed was a friend and that was all.
