It was a normal Friday afternoon. The sun was streaming in through the windows, illuminating my bedroom with a warm light. I was just sitting down on my bed, surfing the net and updating my Facebook status every so often. For some odd reason Facebook wouldn't even load.
"What in the heck is going on? I can't get on Facebook at all? Confound these sites, they drive me to read fanfics"
I decided to get away from Facebook for a while and read some fanfics. As I entered Fimfiction.net and began to browse, I noticed several stories about Queen Chrysalis had suddenly popped up. Jeez, what a bunch of idiots, getting lovesick for some evil villain who wasn't even able to go unnoticed while disguised. A lame villain if there ever was one. She fooled everyone but Twilight. A successful villain goes unnoticed by EVERYONE, not "everyone but one person", or in this case pony.
"Heh, she can't even keep her evil persona intact for long. What a waste of such power." I said while rolling my eyes. I closed the page and went back to Facebook, only to notice a Queen Chrysalis page had just posted on my personal roleplay page. The post(and the many replies we threw at each other) read as follows:
Queen Chrysalis: "You think I am wasting my power? Maybe I will prove to you just how powerful I can be."
Me: "Oh yeah? I'll bet you didn't know you have several fanclubs"
QC: "Hmm, I can already feel their love coursing through me. I feel much stronger now, and I thank you for this. I believe it is time for me to conquer Canterlot, and then ALL of Equestria! Ahahahahahaha!"
Me: "Yeah, but you'll never touch Earth, ever! I dare you to try, you will never win."
QC: "Oh really? I believe you have made your biggest mistake yet: taunting the Queen of the changelings. I will see to it that your world is conquered along with Equestria. The love there shall make a feast for my subjects."
Me: "*challenge accepted*"
I switched tabs, proud at my challenge to her. I knew it just had to be some guy or gal roleplaying as Queen Chrysalis. It couldn't possibly be the real deal, could it? Nah, couldn't be. I was just doing a last check of my page when I noticed a new spark: "Queen Chrysalis has replied to your wall post." I quickly clicked it, and read the post: "*opens portal to your world*" I just let out a quick snort of derision; she couldn't possibly be doing this. I closed the browser and turned around.
Instantly I gaped in utter surprise: a portal had opened up right next to me! I could not believe my eyes!
"Ok, seriously, you have got to be kidding me" I said, facepalming.
"Oh, I'm not kidding..." said a voice that seemed to almost echo, as if two voices were slightly out of sync.
"Oh, really? Show yourself!" I shouted, challenging this unidentified voice to reveal itself.
The voice stepped out of the portal, revealing itself as none other than Queen Chrysalis herself. My jaw hit the floor(not literally, of course), and I nearly fainted out of sheer surprise: the "person" on the page was the real deal. I've been duped to think it wasn't real.
"Oh, duped and fooled you were, Joshua" she sneered. Her voice was just as I heard it from the show, slightly distorted and yet silky smooth.
"How in Celestia's green Equestria did you know about me?" I shouted, clearly surprised she knew my name.
"Oh, it was easy: I read your thoughts, discovered your name, and then found you on this thing you humans call "Facebook". After that, it was easy to just post on your little page and get a quick response out of you."
"Yeah, you still won't get away with this!" I shouted as I lunged at her.
"Oh, I already have," she said with a grin as she nimbly dodged my attack, "And you are powerless to stop it"
As I ran towards her again, she suddenly sidestepped me and shot a green beam of magic at me. Caught off guard, I had no chance to react as I was suddenly blasted through the portal.
