Ride 009:Kai's Strength, The Power Of Perdition

Trixie and Kai both stood firm across from each other, staring back to each other, with neither one breaking. Trixie had smile on her face, with nothing to fear. While Kai only stared, focusing on the fight at hand.

"Kai" said Aichi softly.

"Since I challenged you, I will let you go first" said Kai respectfully.

"It's fine by the Great and Powerful Trixie" the unicorn said, "the Great and Powerful Trixie draws", the mare said drawing one card from the top of her deck.

"The Great and Powerful Trixie rides Witch of Nostrum, Arianrhod!" Trixie said as she placed on card on the Vanguard circle. On Cray the black goat transformed into a unicorn wearing a white lab coat and black covering some of its body parts. It had a pink mane and tail, with black ribbons tied on both sides of her hair. She also had glass on and three books and a lot of vile shrouded her.

Witch of Nostrum, Arianrhod:7000 Power

"With Dark Goats skill he moves to the back row" Trixie said moving the card to her back row and on cray the dark goat appeared behind Arianrhod.

Creeping Dark Goat:4000 Power(Back left row)

"The Great and Powerful Trixie will now use Arianrhod skill to draw one card" the unicorn rested her Vanguard and discard one card from her hoof, then she drew one card, "and I will end my turn."

"My turn, draw" Kai said drawing one card, "I ride the Vanguard, Dragon Monk, Gojo!" the little dragon transformed into an old gray unicorn with a long black mane and tail, wearing red armor with gold trim. The stallion had a long gold rod floating around him carelessly.

Dragon Monk, Gojo:7000 Power

"There he go again, what does he think he's so cool adding one word to a ride?" Rainbow Dash asked, angry.

"Like I said it was sort of thing" Aichi answered, laughing lightly, but inside he was still was worrying about Kai.

"Petal Flare Dracokid skill, and call him to the Rear Guard" Kai said moving the card underneath his Vanguard to his back row.

Perdition Dragon, Petal Flare Dracokid:(back row behind Gojo)

"Then I use Gojo skill, to discard one card and draw one card" Kai said doing so, "and I will end my turn."

"Whoa, that was boring, I kind of expected more from Kai" said Rainbow Dash.

"Don't worry Rainbow Dash, Kai was just doing basic setup, making sure he has good hand" replied Ren.

"I don't get it?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"He is making sure he can use the full potential of his hoof he has, making sure nothing going to waste" Twilight answered, 'He's good.'

"I really don't understand, but I guess you guys are right" said Dash, rubbing the back of her head with her hoof.

"Hpmh, is that all you could muster, the Great and Powerful Trixie laughs at you for such a weak move" Trixie said laughing at Kai, who did not even change his position and stood tall.

"I said my turn was done, make your move already" Kai said in a cold voice.

"What was that?" Trixie said enraged, "why you, the Great and Powerful Trixie stands and draw."

"The Great and Powerful Trixie rides, Inspection Witch, Deirdre! Trixie said as she placed the grade 2 on her Vanguard circle. Arianrhod transformed in a new unicorn that was light blue and had a dark blue mane and tail. She wore a blue dress and had black hood over here mane. She had a single red book floating in front of her and chain also hovering around her.

Inspection Witch, Deirdre:9000 Power

"Next, I call Witch of Reality, Femme" Trixie said placing another grade 2 down. Another witch appeared beside Deirdre, she was a light yellow and had a blond mane and tail. She had pink and black dress on, along with black sleeves that were on her legs.

"Now with a boast from Dark Goat, Femme will attack Gojo" Trixie said turning the cards sideways and declaring an attack, " and with her skill, Femme get's additional 3000 power during the battle."

"No guard" Kai stated letting the attack through.

Witch of Reality, Femme(Creeping Dark Goat):17000 Power

Femme created a ball pink energy in her hoof and throw it at Gojo, exploding. Gojo was still standing, only now with a few scratches on him.

"Damage check" Kai said revealing the top card of his deck and putting into his damage zone.

"And now my Deidre will attack your Gojo" Trixie said turning the card sideways.

Inspection Witch, Deirdre:9000 Power

"I guard with Calamity Tower" Kai said placing the card down into the guardian circle. A red dragon with blue wings appeared in front of front of Gojo ready to take the hit.

Dragon Monk, Gojo(Calamity Tower Dragon):12000 Power

"Drive trigger check" Trixie said revealing the top card of her deck, "no trigger."

Kai took his card in the guardian circle and put it into his drop zone, causing the red dragon to disappear in front of Gojo. Kai continued to to stay calm and collected, while Trixie only got madder at the stallion she was facing. 'Why isn't he phased?' Trixie asked herself.

"Is that all for your turn?" Kai asked.

"Hey, the Great and Powerful Trixie will say when her turn is done, got it" Trixie yelled.

"Whatever" Kai said without feeling, "so is it done?"

"Yes, you can go" Trixie said.

"Good, I stand and draw" Kai said doing so.

"I ride, Perdition Dragon, Dragonic Neoflame!" Kai said place his grade 2 unit down on the Vanguard circle. Gojo then transformed into a giant long snake like dragon. The dragon head had long wide fins protruding out, it had gold spikes going the back of the dragons body connected to the body via gold rings on the dragon.

Perdition Dragon, Dragonic Neoflame:9000 Power

"Ah, Aichi I think your friend said dragon wrong" Applejack said a little confused.

"No he said it right" replied Aichi, "he pronounced dragonic correctly."

"Yeah, Aichi but dragonic isn't a word" said Twilight.

"I know, but it's a word in Vanguard that's used pretty often" said Aichi not understanding the confusion.

"Yeah, but what does dragonic even mean?" Rainbow Dash asked confused.

"I really don't know actually" Aichi answered, "but it sounds cool."

"Thanks" all three of mare responded irritated about not getting a answer.

"Um...I guess it mean to be more dragonly" said Aichi putting up a fake smile and sweating lightly.

"But how can a dragon be more of a dragon?" Spike asked.

"I don't know Spike, I really don't know" Aichi answered.

"Next I call Perdition Dragon Knight, Sheer and Gattling Claw Dragon to my rear guard" Kai placing the cards down. A stallion in black armor appeared beside Neoflame, the stallion wielded gray handle metal trident. And behind him a completely metal dragon with one of it's arms being a gattling gun appeared behind Sheer.

"Now with a boast from Petal Flare Dracokid, Neoflame attacks your Vanguard" Kai said turning his cards sideways.

"Ha, like the Great and Powerful Trixie would waste time guarding that, no guard" Trixie said confident.

"Fine, drive check" said Kai checking the top card, "your lucky, no trigger."

Perdition Dragon, Dragonic Neoflame(Perdition Dragon, Petal Flare Dracokid):14000 Power

Four black stones appeared above Neoflame head and then they suddenly started on fire. They were then all shot at Deidre at the same time. Deidre was able to get back up, now with a few burn marks.

"Damage trigger check" Trixie said putting the top card of her deck into her damage zone.

"Now with a boast from Gattling Claw, Sheer attacks your Vanguard and with his skil he gets another 3000 power" Kai said turning his cards sideways.

Perdition Dragon Knight, Sheer(Gattling Claw Dragon):14000 Power

"The Great and Powerful Trixie nullify it with Dark Shield, Mac Lir" Trixie said placing card down into the guardian circle and discarding one card from her hoof.

A giant muscular black stallion appeared in front Deidre. The stallion had lots of black armor on and a yellow helmet with a black outline. On the stallion shoulders were two giant black shields and he had long red claws coming off from his front hooves. Sheer leaped forward intending to stab the stallion but the stallion put his shields forward and knocked the attack back.

"Ha, how do you like that?" Trixie asked.

"Do you even realize the mistake you made?" Kai asked coldly.

"What?" Trixie asked enraged.

"You could have perfect guarded my Vanguard and then let my rear guard deal the point of damage" Kai answered, "you would have gotten the same result but with less risk."

"Why you, the Great and Powerful Trixie doesn't need you to tell the Great and Powerful Trixie how to play" Trixie replied enraged.

"Whatever" said Kai, "I end my turn."

"Ah, what exactly does Kai mean by "the same result but with less risks"?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"What he means by that is the drive check, one trigger could have changed the outcome of this battle" Ren answered, "the trigger is where the risk part come from."

"Oh, so Trixie made a misplay on her part" replied Rainbow Dash.

"Yep, basically" Ren said simple.

"The Great and Powerful Trixie stands and draw" Trixie said doing so.

"It's time I show why you don't mess with the Great and Powerful Trixie, she is the idle for all witches, now that you have crossed her there's no hope for you" Trixie began to chant, "The Great and Powerful Trixie rides, Cultus Witch, Rias!" Trixie said placing the card down. Deidre transformed into a much taller light gray unicorn with a gray mane and tail. She had pieces of blue cloth covering her chest and had blue stocking cover her legs. She wore a black veil coming off from here back and also had black crown like piece in her mane. A silver wand with a red diamond on its top floated around her to complete the look.

Cultus Witch, Rias:11000 Power

"So this is your grade 3 Vanguard, great" Kai said annoyed.

"Yes and you will now feel her power" Trixie said with a smile.

"So bring it" Kai replied.

"Fine then, the Great and Powerful Trixie calls Witch of Precious Stones, Dana first" Trixie said placing the card down onto the rear guard. Another unicorn appeared on Cray, she was brown and had a light blue mane and tail. She wore a black dress and a black cape with hood.

"And with Dana skill I will change Sheer into a grade 0 from your drop zone" Trixie declared.

"Ah-huh, I don't have any grade 0 in my drop zone" Kai replied putting his hoof on his face.

"What, how can you not have any in your drop zone?" Trixie asked enraged.

"I never guard with any" Kai answered.

"Whoa, I never seen a mistake like that happen like that before" Ren said amazed.

"Really, you never seen anyone in your world make a mistake like that?" Spike asked.

"Yeah, most cardfighter I have seen don't make that mistake" Ren answered, "it's kind of embarrassing to see a cardfighter make a mistake like that."

"Come on Ren, I don't think it can be that bad, right" Twilight commented.

"Nope, it is quite embarrassing, almost as bad as saying 'final turn' and failing" said Ren, remember a time where he failed his final turn.

"Wait what's does final turn mean?" Rainbow Dash asked

"Oh, I'm sure with Kai playing you will see what it means soon" Ren answered.

"Never mind, you will feel pain this turn though" Trixie said enraged.

"Fine then, bring it" Kai replied.

"I will with a boast from Dark Goat, Femme will attack your Vanguard" Trixie said turn the cards to the rest position.

Witch of Reality, Femme(Creeping Dark Goat):17000 Power

"No guard" Kai declared letting the attack go through, dealing one damage to him.

On Cray, Femme charged up a blast of magic out of her horn and then fired it at Neoflame. Neoflame took the hit and smoke was surrounded him from the attack. When the smoke disappeared, Neoflame was un-phased by the blast and remained in the same position.

"Now Rias will attack Neoflame" Trixie said resting the card.

Cultus Witch, Rias:11000 Power

"I guard with Blue Ray Dracokid" Kai said placing the card down in the guardian circle. On cray a small blue wingless dragon appeared in front of Neoflame ready to defend him.

Perdition Dragon, Dragonic Neoflame(Blue Ray Dracokid):19000 Power

"Gah, twin drive check, first check" nothing, "second check, Critical Trigger, all effects to Dana" Trixie declared.

Witch of Precious Stones, Dana(Critical Trigger):12000 Power, Critical 2

"Now with Dana will attack your Vanguard" Trixie said resting the card.

"No guard" Kai said in a calm way.

On Cray, multiple rocks began rise up from the ground and spiral around Dana. They began to glow, and then from them a powerful blast of magic was fired at Neoflame. Neoflame took the shot head on, and was still un-phased, but now starting to look damaged.

"Damage check, first check" Kai putting the top card of his deck into his damage zone, "second check, Heal Trigger, power to Neoflame and I recover one damage" Kai said taking one card from his damage zone and putting it into his drop zone.

"The Great and Powerful Trixie ends her turn, so are you starting to feel the pain yet?" Trixie asked mockingly.

"Is that all, because this is hardly a challenge" Kai replied, not answering her questions.

"Why you" Trixie said enraged.

"I don't understand why Kai has so much confidence after Trixie last turn" Rainbow Dash wondered.

"That's Kai for you, a determined fighter till the end" Ren said, "beside Kai hasn't even gotten started yet."

"What do you mean Ren?" Twilight asked intrigued.

"Kai, hasn't even gotten to grade 3 yet, to be at 3 damage for him is nothing" Ren answered.

"He is that good?" Rainbow asked surprised by the new piece of information.

"Yeah, the best of all of us" Aichi answered, 'for sure.'

"I stand and draw" Kai said doing so.

"The flames of perdition burn and spiral into an intense cyclone of flames" Kai began to chant, slowly raising one card from his hoof into the air. "Burn everything to ash, I ride the Vanguard, Perdition Dragon, Vortex Dragonewt!" Kai finish slamming the card down onto his Vanguard circle.

Perdition Dragon, Vortex Dragonewt:11000 Power

On Cray Neoflame exploded into tornado of flames. From out of the flame a giant humanoid looking dragon appeared. The dragon had glass like silver armor skin all over his body, only showing his under belly which was a blue lined with green diamonds. He had giant orange wings coming out from his back and three smaller one on both of his arms. His head was also armored with a giant transparent crystal spike coming out from it to match the one on his chest. Silver spike also came out from his shoulders, knees and back.

Twilight was visualize the fight, as if she was there. The dragon towered over every other creature there. He was daunting and nothing looked like it could phase him. The sky's of Cray darkened from the beast very presences.

"Dragonewt?" Rainbow Dash questioned, "okay, now I know he is making words up."

"Like I said, it's kind of common in Vanguard for there to be made up words" Aichi answered nervously.

"Don't question it Dashie" said Pinkie Pie behind her in her usual happy voice.

"Ahhhh" Aichi screamed at the surprise of his pink friend, "how long have you been standing there Pinkie?"

"Oh, you know, the whole fight" Pinkie answered, only to get a dumbfounded look out of Aichi.

"Why haven't you said anything then Before now?" Aichi asked confused.

"Oh, I was just waiting for my line from the author" Pinkie answered, only for Aichi to get more confused.

"It Pinkie Pie Aichi, go with it" Rainbow Dash said to Aichi.

'This fight is so great, I can almost imagine myself there looking at it' Twilight thought ingoring the conversations around her.

"Nice unit, but what can it do against the Great and Powerful Trixie?" Trixie asked mockingly.

"This, Seek The Mate!" Kai declared as four cards from his drop turned silver and flew back into his deck. A silver lining went down each of his cards until one flew into Kai's hoof. On Cray Vortex Dragonewt screamed and yellow aura emitted from his body into the sky.

"A bond formed in a burning storm, a friend it can call his own, his mate" Kai began, "Line Up dragons of perdition and burn everything to ash, Perdition Dragon, Whirlwind Dragon, LEGION!" Kai finished placing down the card in his hoof right next to Dragonewt in the Vanguard circle forming a complete image. As the image is formed a red ring appears under the cards with a golden V shape hovering above it.

Perdition Dragon, Vortex Dragonewt/Perdition Dragon, Whirlwind Dragon:20000 Power

On Cray another tornado of flame formed right besides Vortex and out of it another dragon appeared. The dragon was almost as tall as Dragonewt, but only little shorter. He was on all fours and had the same type of wings and armor that Dragonewt had. It almost looked like a younger Dragonewt itself.

"Wait, how come Kai use Legion, he's like the most unfriendly stallion I have meet in awhile" Rainbow Dash asked, "he doesn't seem like the kind of pony to do that?"

"Well that's the thing, Legion is kind of Kai thing" Aichi answered.

"Legion represent Kai feeling for his mates" Leon added on.

"Mates? Like in mares he has had relationship with?" Dash asked.

"No no no, mate like in his friends" Ren said clearing things up.

"Oh, no it make a little more sense" Rainbow Dash replied, "but I don't get how Legion represent Kai?"

"It's the bonds he made with all his friends, Legion is sort of the embodiment of way Kai feels for all his friends" Aichi answered.

"So Kai cares a lot for his friends?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Yep" Aichi answered.

"That's so cool, now I'm going to try even harder to be his friend now" Pinkie Pie exclaimed.

'Hpmh, that pink mare is here now, great' Kai thought.

"Now then, Legion Skill! Trinity Crimson Flame" Kai declared, "I counter blast 2 cards and then I discard a copy of Whirlwind Dragon" doing so. Then his Vanguard circle became engulfed in a red flames as the same golden V symbol appeared over it.

On Cray, Vortex and Whirlwind exploded in a similar red flame. The witches on the other side began tremble at the site of the dragons. Twilight could only be amazed at she was seeing, as ash flew past her face.

"One" Kai screamed and pointed at Femme, as a red flame went straight for Femme burning her alive as the card was put into the drop zone.

"What?" Trixie asked out of frustration.

"Two" Kai screamed and pointed at Dark Goat, as another red flame hit Dark Goat burning it as the card went into the drop zone.

"Again?" Trixie asked confused.

"And the third flame" Kai said pointing at Trixie Vanguard.

"Why you" Trixie stopped as she looked up to see that Kai was smiling evilly at her, almost as if he was enjoying her losses.

"To your Vanguard, Crimsons Flame" Kai screamed as a giant red flame engulfed Rias brutally burning her as the top card from Trixie deck flew into her damage zone.

"So you can deal one damage with that, but that doesn't matter because it was a heal trigger" Trixie said going to pick the card up.

"It's useless" Kai said smiling, as the trigger began to start on fire.

"Agh, what?" Trixie asked.

"Trinity Crimson Flame burn away even the effects of triggers" Kai said, "now then with Dragonewt skill, he gets a additional 6000 power till the end of the turn."

Perdition Dragon, Vortex Dragonewt/Perdition Dragon, Whirlwind Dragon:26000 Power

"What?" Trixie asked enraged.

"All of that in a single move" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

"Yeah, that's Kai for you, he always has the really good units" Ren said calmly.

"Oh it's so cool" squeal Pinkie, excited.

'It's amazing' Twilight thought looking at the fight on Cray.

"Now then with a boost from Petal Flare Dracokid, Legion attack, Burning Purgatory" Kai said resting the units as both flames dragons prepared to attack.

Perdition Dragon, Vortex Dragonewt/Perdition Dragon, Whirlwind Dragon(Perdition Dragon, Petal Flare Dracokid):31000 Power

"The Great and Powerful Trixie won't guard" Trixie said irritated at her hand and the attacks power.

"Twin drive check" Kai said flipping his top cards over, "first check, heal trigger, power to Sheer and I recover one damage" Kai took a flipped card in his damage zone and put it into his drop zone. "Second check" nothing.

Both dragons charged up blast of fire in their respective ways. Dragonewt lift up one of his giant claws and it became engulfed in flames, while Whirlwind opened his mouth preparing to breath fire. At the same time each dragon fired their attacks directly at Rias causing a massive explosion. When the smoke cleared Rias was still standing there, but badly burned and breathing heavily.

"Damage check" Trixie said putting her top card into her damage zone.

"Now with a boost from Gattling Claw, Sheer attacks Rias" Kai said resting his cards.

Perdition Dragon Knight, Sheer(Gattling Claw Dragon, Heal Trigger):19000 Power

"The Great and Powerful Trixie guards with Black Crow Witch, Eine" Trixie said placing the card into her guardian zone, as a small brown unicorn in a witch outfit appeared infront of Rias.

Cultus Witch, Rias(Black Crow Witch, Eine):22000 Power

Sheer jumped into the air a flew down preparing to stab Rias. Eine moved to where the attack would hit a got in front of it. Sheer stopped his attack and returned to his position.

"Ah, I end my turn" Kai said going back to being bored.

"Is that all you got?" Trixie asked breathing heavily.

"Well I guess they're even now" Spike assumed.

"Looks like it Spike" Applejack agreed.

"Well if you're looking at it by a damage point of view" said Ren, "but they are far from even."

"I don't see it" Rainbow Dash replied, "they seem pretty even to me."

"What Kai has done is essentially put him the lead" Ren answered the confusion.

"What?" Dash asked.

"Kai has destroyed two of his opponents rear guards and lowered her hand size at the same time" Leon answered.

"He has a massive lead right now" Aichi added in, 'Kai.'

"Which is just like him" Ren commented.

"So what you're all saying is Ki is awesome?" Pinkie asked.

"Essentially" Aichi answered.

"Awesome, go Ki, go" Pinkie cheered.

'Of all the mares that could be here, it has to be her cheering me on, great' Kai thought looking at Pinkie Pie.

"Hey, don't take your eyes of the match" Trixie screamed angrily at Kai.

"Have you made your move yet?" Kai asked.

"I was just about too" Trixie answered, trembling.

"Then make it" Kai replied with a threatening glare.

'What's this feeling, it's like, like...I'm scared, why?' Trixie thought, "The Great and Powerful Trixie stands and draw."

"The Great and Powerful Trixie won't lose, not to you, she will beat you, Seek Mate!" Trixie declared as four cards from her drop zone moved back into her deck. A silver lining appeared on the top card of Trixie deck and went down until a card flew into her hoof. While on Cray, Rias raised her staff and yellow glow went into to the air.

"Dark magic of unity, bring down all who dare face me" Trixie began chanting. "Line up, and cast your spell of darkness, Inspection Witch, Deirdre, Legion!" Trixie finished by placing the card in her hoof right next to Rias in her Vanguard circle. On Cray Deidre appeared right next to Rias, ready to fight with her friend.

Cultus Witch, Rias/Inspection Witch, Deidre:20000 Power

"What even Trixie can Legion" Rainbow said surprised.

"Well it's not that hard to Legion, my business partner even put it in every instruction card that put in every pack" Ren said.

"Instruction card? Ren those aren't in the packs that we bought back on earth" Aichi said wondering what Ren was talking about.

"Yeah, I thought it would be a good idea, since Vanguard isn't as popular here, so the instruction card serves as way to teach ponies that are interested in playing how to play the game" Ren answered Aichi confusing.

"Oh, that was a good idea Ren" said Aichi, relieved of his confusing.

"Thank you Aichi" Ren replied.

"I don't know, that seems a little bit to convenient, I think the author was just lazy and did not want to explain the rules again" Pinkie said suspiciously, look at me, the author.

"Aaa, what?" Aichi and Ren both asked.

"Like we said it's Pinkie, you get use to it" Rainbow Dash answered.

"I guess that explains why Trixie is so good at your game" Applejack commented.

"Yeah, it also why I haven't gotten any Shadow Paladin cards out of the packs I bought" said Ren annoyed.

"Next, Legion Skill, Dark Art Curse!" Trixie declared, "Dana shall sacrifice herself, and now your Vanguard losses 5000 power for every grade 0 you control, and I count 2, so your Vanguard losses 10000 power."

A dark mist enveloped around both Dragonewt and Whirlwind, then both felt a powerful sting hit their body's from every angle. They both stood tall, but were now breathing much heavier, the heat of battle taking it’s toll.

Perdition Dragon, Vortex Dragonewt/Perdition Dragon, Whirlwind Dragon:1000 Power

"Now with Rias skill, the Great and Powerful Trixie will counter blast 2 for her skill, she will turn Sheer into a grade 0" Trixie declared flipping her two cards in the damage zone.

Kai looked at the top five cards of his deck and Trixie decided which grade 0 to replace Sheer. Kai then placed a his new grade 0 rear guard over sheer retiring him. In Sheer place Blue Ray Dracokid appeared, still ready to fight. After that Kai shuffled his deck.

"How do you like that?" Trixie asked.

"Nice little magic trick" Kai answered, "but if you are nothing compared to Shadow Paladin players I know."

"What was that?" Trixie retorted enraged.

"Whoa, I'm surprised, Kai hardly compliments me, that felt good" Ren said shocked and appreciated at the same time.

"The player is far out of your league" Kai continue, "and that player’s name is..."

"Here it comes" Ren said, eyes twinkling.

"...Rati Curti, she has my respect, more so than you" Kai finished.

"Well thanks, Kai" Ren said in a bad mood.

"The Great and Powerful Trixie will show you, The Great and Powerful Trixie calls another Femme and Arianrhod" Trixie said placing the card down, while on Cray Femme and Arianrhod appeared again next to Rias and Deidre.

Both witches flew up high and combined their magical power together forming a giant mystic circle seal below. Thunder and lightning started coming out of the seal striking the ground of Cray itself. A giant bolt of thunder hit both Dragonewt and Whirlwind together, but as the attack stopped and Rias and Deidre returned to their positioning both dragons were still standing.

"Damage check, first check" Kai put his top card of his deck into his damage zone, "second check, draw trigger, power to my Vanguard and I draw one card."

"Now Femme will attack your Vanguard" Trixie said resting the cards.

Witch of Reality, Femme(Critical Trigger):17000 Power

"No guard" Kai declared again, still calm.

On Cray, Femme charged up a blast of dark magic in her horn and then fired at the dragons. They both took it, with both still standing looking un-phased. Femme went back to her position, angered at the sight of the dragons.

"Damage check" Kai said performing it.

"The Great and Powerful Trixie ends her turn, next turn your done" Trixie said anxious to finish Kai off, with Kai remaining un-phased, 'why does he look so calm, is he mocking me, and why am I scared.'

"Well Kai seem like he's beat, so much for him going to win" Rainbow Dash commented.

"Oh, you still don't see it, Kai has this win in the bag" Ren replied.

"What do you mean Ren?" Applejack asked.

"He's at five damage now, with four of it unflipped, he's got this" Ren answered.

"So that means he do what he did last turn again right?" Spike asked.

"Exactly" Ren answered, "ah Kai, you sure do know how to put on a show."

"Oh my Celestia, Ki is so cool, go get em’ Ki" Pinkie cheered.

'Kai' Aichi thought, 'you're still the best.'

'Amazing that last fight was so breath taking, I want to see more' Twilight thought.

At that moment, she was totally engrossed in the battle she was seeing, it was a spectacle in itself, then, she felt disconnected, all sounds around her muffled and a bright light crossed her vision, slightly impairing her sight, she rubbed her eyes with a hoof
“what in the hay was that?” she whispered to herself

"If this is all you can do, then this match ends right now" Kai declared, "Final Turn."

"What?" Trixie asked.

"Final turn, wait what does that mean?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"The name sums it up, it's Kai declaring victory before the fights over" Ren answered.

"Kai usual never losses when he declares 'Final Turn' every" Aichi added on.

"Oh, that's so cool" Pinkie squealed.

"What does he think he some hot shot or something" Rainbow Dash said jealous.

"No, but he is Kai" Ren replied.

"I stand and draw" Kai said doing so.

"I retire Blue Ray Dracokid, and call Perdition Dragon, Dragonic Neoflame in his place" Kai said placing the card down as Neoflame reappeared in his place.

"Now Legion Skill, Trinity Crimson Flame!" Kai declared paying the cost again as both Dragonewt and Whirlwind became engulfed in red flames.

"One" Kai said pointing at Femme, as the red flames engulfed her and destroyed her as the card was put into Trixie drop zone.

"Two" Kai pointed at Arianrhod as she was the next victim of the red flames.

"And the third flame to your Vanguard, Crimsons Flame" Kai said, as Aaron giant red flame engulfed both Rias and Deidre at the same time, burn them alive deal a damage to Trixie.

"Now with his skill Dragonewt get's 6000 power till the end of the turn" Kai said, finishing off his combo.

Perdition Dragon, Vortex Dragonewt/Perdition Dragon, Whirlwind Dragon:26000 Power

"Now I use Petal Flare Dracokid skill" Kai stated putting the card into his Vanguard soul, "by putting him into the soul, my get's a new skill, when he hit's a unit, I get to retire a unit."

"Like that matters" Trixie said with cockiness.

"Next I call Calamity Tower Wyvern" Kai placing the card down, " and with his skill I will soul blast 2 cards and then draw one card."

"Finally I call another Sheer and Perdition Dragon, Menace Laser Dragon" Kai filling up his final column, as Sheer reappear behind a four legged red dragon with no wings, but instead a giant laser cannon in their place.

"Bring it on, their nothing the Great and Powerful Trixie can't handle" Trixie declared.

"Fine then, first with a boost from Gattling Claw, Neoflame attacks your Vanguard" Kai said attacking.

"No Guard" Trixie declared.

On Cray, Neoflame summoned four rocks of fire and fired them Rias and Deidre. The hit exploded on impact with the the two witches. They started breathing heavier and burn marks were apparent.

"Damage check" Trixie said performing the check, 'that's one down two to go.'

"With a boost from Sheer, Menace Laser attacks your Vanguard" Kai rest his right column to attack.

'He went out of order' Trixie thought to herself surprised.

Perdition Dragon, Menace Laser Dragon(Perdition Dragon Knight, Sheer):16000 Power

"No guard" Trixie declared scared, 'I hope lucks on my side.'

Menace Laser's cannon locked onto Rias and Deidre and began to charge his laser cannon. Menace Laser fired a giant bright yellow laser beam at the both of the witches, hitting them. They were knocked back quite a distance, but still standing, barely.

"Damage check" Trixie said scared, revealing her top card, "Heal Trigger, yes, power to my Vanguard and I recover one damage."

Cutlus Witch, Rias(heal trigger):16000 Power

"It ends here, with a final boost from Calamity Tower, Dragonewt, Whirlwind, Legion attack Burning Purgatory!" Kai screamed as he performed his last attack.

Perdition Dragon, Vortex Dragonewt/Perdition Dragon, Whirlwind Dragon(Calamity Tower Wyvern):31000 Power

"The Great and Powerful Trixie will guard it with Witch of Quests, Securna and Black Crow Witch, Eina" Trixie said placing the cards down in the guardian circle, as two unicorn witches appeared in front of both Rias and Deidre ready to save them, 'one more that's it.'

"He only needs one trigger" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

"You can do it Ki" Pinkie cheered.

"Kai, this is you" Aichi said quietly.

"Twin check, first check" Kai said, no trigger, "second check, critical trigger, all effects to my Vanguard, end it now."

"That's just Kai to pull a trigger when he needs one" Ren commented.

"No" Trixie screamed.

Dragonewt and Whirlwind charged up their respective attacks again and then unleashed them on all the witches at once. It first hit both Securna and Eina before burning them and moving to the remaining witches which were sacred of their fate to come. They were engulfed in the flames, as the witches scream in agony, the flames burned them till they fainted, with the fire disappearing.

"Damage check" Trixie said performing it, having a hard time breathing, "first check, no trigger I lose."

"And our winner is my good friend Kai, how about we give him a hand?" said Ren after he rush to get back on stage.

To his dismay, all the ponies that were in stands watching Trixie were gone. The only ponies clapping were Pinkie Pie and Aichi, with one have more energy than the other. 'Well that was a bust' Ren thought looking out to the crowd that wasn't there, as a random tumbleweed rolled by.

Kai took of his cards and put them back into his deck, which then proceeded to put in a small red plastic box with a red Vanguard symbol on it.
Kai’s demeanor did not change from when he was fighting, he remained calm and somewhat bored. 'Well that was kind of fun' Kai thought, almost trying to convince himself, he proceeded to walk of the stage with Ren, who had packed up the playmats.

"Well good work out there Kai, you're still as good as ever" Ren said happily.

"Thanks Ren" Kai responded still not changing his mood.

"Wait, don't leave, fight me one more time?" Trixie asked getting up breathing heavily.

Kai did not respond, but continued to walk.

"Please, give me one more chance, I can beat you?" Trixie pleaded, Kai stopped.

"How about this, if you can get stronger then you are now, I will fight you again" Kai said getting of the stage to join his friends.

'Why, why am I scared of him?' Trixie asked herself.

"Good work Kai" Aichi congratulated his friend.

"I have to say you did good out there, even though it was kind of hard to understand what was happening" Applejack added in.

"That was so cool Ki, you were so awesome" Pinkie exclaimed.

"Thank you" Kai said.

"Hey Kai, I have to say you impressed me" Rainbow Dash said.

Ignoring her compliment, something came to his mind "I heard from Aichi, that I have a book you want" Kai replied.

"Yeah, are you done with it yet? I have been dying to read the next Daring Doo book" said Rainbow Dash in a positive mood.

"Give me another week" Kai said calm.

"Why I oughta" Rainbow Dash said infuriated.

"Calm yourself Dash" Applejack said grabbing on to the pegasus with all her strength, " don't worry I got er."

Well, we should be heading out know, it's late" said Leon.

"That's okay, I got to be heading back soon away" Applejack said, still holding Rainbow Dash.

"Well then, goodbye, I hope you had goodnight watching the cardfight" said Ren.

"I sure did, I'm kind of interested now" Applejack replied.

"Goodbye Ki, hope to see you tomorrow" said Pinkie Pie.

"Bye" Kai said bored, 'why does this mare like me.'

"Goodbye Applejack, Rainbow Dash seeya tomorrow" Aichi said joining the group of his friends that where headed back to there house.

"You two Aichi" Applejack said watching her new friend walk home, "ah, what a stallion."

"Aaa, Applejack you can let go of me now" Rainbow Dash said calmly.

"Sorry about that, somepony got to hold you down when you acting like that" Applejack apologized releasing the pegasus.

"It's okay, well I'm out, I need to catch some Zzz's, bye" Rainbow Dash said, then flying away.

"Guess it's my time to head home" Applejack said walked away.

Soon enough all the ponies left the stage and it's surrounding area. Except for Twilight Sparkle, who was still standing with her eyes closed. "Hey, Twilight, Twilight, everypony gone, what are you still doing here" Spike said shaking the unicorns shoulder.

"Aahh, what happened, what did I miss?" Twilight asked waking shocked.

"Kai won his match, and everypony left after" Spike answered.

"Oh yeah the fight, I remember now..." said Twilight, before fainting and falling to the ground.

"Twilight, Twilight" said Spike concerned, only then to hear snores come from Twilight's mouth, "good she only sleeping, I guess I will have to carry her back to the home so she can get some proper rest."

Spike dragged Twilight back to her house, leaving the area, empty. In Twilight mind a similar white orb appeared again, moving around freely. 'What a good day' Twilight thought before, completely falling asleep.
