It seemed like it was just another classic day, you know, the usual, but when I got up to get food, i noticed a strange symbol on my cupboard. it looked like the symbol for fire, but with swirls on the tip of the flame. "I don't recall putting that there... eh, well", and I just ignored it, but when I went to go sit down I saw the same note engraved into my table and chairs. When I looked at the bagels I was going to eat, they were all shaped like the mysterious symbol. "OK, this is getting weird..." I said to myself. So I was on my way to the Golden Oak library, but stopped myself and thought "oh wait a minute". Then i went to ask around town. As I walked around, it hit me. I should go find Zecora.

I went through the Everfree forest being very careful not to touch the Poison Joke and the other wildlife and soon found Zecora.
"It appears you have been cursed. I can help you, but I need to be reimbursed." I paid her 20 bits.
"Somepony doesn't like your carpentry and cursed all of it to break once used the amount the caster chose. All you need are: two dragon scales, a piece of your work, and a white rose."
"Dragon scales!? Where the hay am I gonna get those?" I asked in a frustrated manner.
"You can bribe. I can prescribe."
I sighed, "How much for the dragon scales?" I asked in an annoyed tone.
"You think I want money? How funny."
"But you charged me earlier" I said very irritated.
"I'm in dire need of a task. What, you may ask? Let me tell you, I need something high in the sky, colorful, and spicy in a metal tube. For this is no ordinary job, this is quite rube. A simple task for a Pegasus, but a huge task for me. So, do you agree?"
"Yes."
"Good. Now fly into the woods."

I knew it was a rainbow in a bucket, but where do I find a rainbow? Cloudsdale is months from coming, but I need those scales badly if I want to keep my job and my reputation. So I searched until I found a rainbow and a really cool house, but it belonged to somepony else. So as any rational pony would do, I knocked. A light blue Pegasus mare with a rainbow mane and tail answered the door saying in a sort of raspy voice, "Who are you?"
"I'm Bitsy, and i'm a carpenter slash coin collector, and I kinda need to use some of your rainbows in your yard."
"What?! Why?" she asked in a confused tone.
"Somepony cursed all of my carpentry to break down after a certain amount of time and the only way to fix it is with 2 dragon scales, a piece of my work and a white rose. Now I need a rainbow because I can trade it for the dragon scales so I was wondering if I could have some of your rainbow."
Her jaw dropped and said, "Well only if you give me a free mahogany table and chair set after you break the curse."
"Deal." I said.
I took a bucket of rainbow and brought it back to Zecora.
"This is nice. I will pay my price." She gave me two dragon scales and sent me off to find the rose and get my carpentry.
I couldn't find the rose, so I flew to the train station and took the train to the great capital of Canterlot. Once I was there I made my way to the Canterlot Library.

When I arrived, I looked around for books on wildlife and where it grows. After looking forever I eventually found it. The book was called "Roses and Flowers". I looked for the section on White Roses. Once I found it, it read:
This is quite a rare specimen which takes years to grow and only grows in caves. When found It is commonly used for potions and brews. It is sold by few and bought by fewer causing its value to be quite high. While rare it can only be safely picked by a skilled Unicorn and must be handled very carefully or its magic properties will dissipate. Read more on page 112
Read more on page 112? This is just a preview? What the hay? I thought this was the section on White Roses. Whatever. I flipped to the page its said which proved to be more difficult than I thought it would be. When I got to the page I scanned it and got to the part where it said they could be found. Wow, that is way too hard. There has to be an easier way. I wonder if there is anypony who sells these. I most likely have the bits to buy one. All I need is a white rose and the rest will be a piece of cake.
