Ch. 2: The Integrity Girls:
At the Manehatten Melody and Music Festival…
A group of three girls were talking in a circle.
“Are you sure we won’t be humiliated?” A grey-skinned girl asked moving her black bangs from her turquoise eyes.
“Yes, I’m sure!” a purple girl said, full of cheer.
“Anyway, if one of us messes up, another one will cover up for her.” A blue-skinned girl with stunning orange and black hair smiled at the shy girl, with amber eyes shining.
The grey girl nodded, slowly.
“Harmonic, it’s okay. We won’t mess up. I promise.” The amber girl smiled placing a hand on Harmonic’s Shoulder.
“Thanks Blue Ember.” Harmonic said.
“NOW LET’S ROCK ON!” the lavender girl said with a big smile.
“Calm down Lavender.” Blue Ember chuckled slightly, picking up her black guitar.
Lavender picked up a portable keyboard, and Harmonic picked up a bass.
“Up next is The Integrity Girls.” Someone said over the speaker.
“Come on, we’re up.” Lavender said rushing to the stage.
“Remember, not as cool as usual. Save it for the last song..”
They all nodded and went to the stage.
They all got ready, and set up on the stage.
Blue Ember walked up to the middle microphone.
“Hey, wassup?” She said. “I’m Blue Ember, and I am the lead guitar player in the Integrity Girls. That-” She said pointing to Lavender. “is Lavender Treasure on the keyboard.” Lavender waved.
“And that is Harmonic bass on the- well- bass.” people in the audience laughed.
“We are gonna sing a song called, ‘Not anymore’.” She said and stepped a bit back.
She tapped her foot in a beat. Lavender played some organ keys, and Ember played guitar.
Harmonic did a simple yet cool beat.
“A long time ago,
We were afraid of everything.
Once in the past,
we were so scared to make some friends.” The music intensified.
“Until we met eachother,
We were ready to face anything.
No matter what the weather,
We will stay side-by-side!” They headed to the chorus.
“Nothing will stand in our way,
Our friendship is as bright as the day.
We make sure people know,
that our friendship will grow,
And you can never tear us apa-rt!” They all smiled.
“Friends will guide you, through dark paths.” Lavender sang.
“And nothing can stop me, from staying at your sides.” Harmonic sang.
“And we will stay together, forever.” Ember sang.
They all sang together in Harmony.
“No matter what!”

“We may be really different.” Lavender sang.
“As silver is from gold.” harmonic shyly sang.
“But that really doesn’t stop us.” Ember smirked.
“Or keep us far apart!” They harmonized.

Ember did a guitar solo and ended the song.
The crowd cheered loudly as they walked off stage.
“THAT WAS SOOOO AWESOME!!!” Lavender sung.
“Yep, it was.” Ember high-fived Lavender.
“I admit it was pretty fun.” harmonic said shyly.
They all group hugged and walked off.
“Up next is the Chaotic Dreams!” The intercom said.
If you listened closely you would of heard evil laughter. No one heard it… except for Harmonic Bass.
