//------------------------------// // The Final Plan // Story: The Twelfth Doctor Investigates Canterlot High // by Helblade Master //------------------------------// The Doctor sat at the back of the gymnasium trying his best not to go deaf over all the terrible music he was listening to. The bands were horrid and needed plenty of work. The only good one he had heard was a band of three females. One had some eyes he feared made it hard for her to see and even look smart. Her clothes were a bit strange but he wouldn't complain. To a lot of people he was dressed oddly as well. He tried his best to stay seated in case he needed to stop any more saboteurs. He also needed to see the sirens power at work. They obviously wanted power and the only power that seemed odd was the radiation the TARDIS had detected earlier. As the acts continued The Doctor slowly started to think he had missed the siren's act. He got up and was about to leave when Principal Celestia called out for a band known as The Dazzlings. The Doctor didn't make much of the name until he saw the sirens walk onto the stage. He quickly put some ear plugs in and pulled out his sonic screwdriver. He neeeded to get readings of the siren's power so he knew how strong he'd need to make any plan so that he could defeat them. As the sirens began to sing he aimed the sonic screwdriver at the sirens. He activated it and held it there for a few seconds as it whirred. Then he brought it up and looked at the readings. Their power was rising ever so slightly and it was still rising. He tucked his sonic screwdriver in his pocket and ran down the bleachers. He got a few nasty looks from some of the people in the bleachers. He threw open the gymnasium doors and ran down the hall to the exit. He burst through the doors and into the front of the school. The TARDIS still sat on the street corner. He ran over to it and put his ear against the door he heard light snoring inside. He guessed that meant the TARDIS had either put Clara to sleep or she had fallen asleep banging on the door. He unlocked the TARDIS doors and walked inside. He looked around to see if Clara had ruined anything. He found her laying in a recliner covered in his coats and other clothing. He walked down a set of stairs and into a supply room. He started digging through boxes ever so quietly so he didn't wake up Clara. "Where are they," The Doctor whispered to himself." They have to be here somewhere." As he dug through the boxes he set things aside. Such as an extra head for K-9 MK VI, a scarf that was made of many colors, he had no idea why some of his regenerations chose to wear what they wore. He pulled out an old cyberman head. He guessed it was either Handles or someone had brought a cyberman head on board and stuffed it down here. Then he saw exactly what he was looking for. Temporal disruptors sat inside a box filled with wires and panels. They were small half spherical objects with a small bulb and a button. The bulbs were green. Apparently he had been paid a trip by an old regeneration, or something, because he never puts anything as dangerous as the disruptors in a box with other things. How they got there was beyond him he just hoped they weren't damaged. The power they could release, if they were damaged, could tale the entire school off the maps of the Earth. He picked them up and shook off wires. He grumbled to himself at the disorganization of the closset. Then he exited the closet and shut the door. He looked around to make sure Clara wasn't waiting for him. He checked then double checked before he walked up the stairs. Clara was still sleeping on the recliner. He stuffed the small disruptors in his pockets and opened the TARDIS door. He closed the door and locked it again. He ran back towards the school and back towards the gym. It was completely empty, well almost. The janitor was sweeping up spilt food and drinks. He looked a bit young to be working like he was. The Doctor didn't have time to investigate him though. He only had time to stop evil creatures from destroying the world, or whatever they had planned for it. He ran past the janitor and onto the back stage. From there he went to some of the props back stage and attached a temporal disruptor to the back of a cardboard coconut tree. He double checked it to make sure it was secure before heading out to the back bleachers. The janitor was still mopping up some orange liquid. He crawled behind some of the bleachers and placed another one. He then crawled out and looked back at the janitor. He was still mopping up the liquid as if he were lost in thought. The Doctor ignored him ans crawled behind another set of bleachers before attaching another one. He crawled back out again and went to the last set of bleachers. He crawled underneath and attached the final temporal disruptor. Instead of sticking onto the surface it fell off and dropped to the ground. The Doctor picked it up and pulled out his sonic screwdriver. He used it on the temporal disruptor and the light flickered then died. He tried multiple times before giving up. He crawled back out and stuffed the disruptor in his pocket. He just hoped the disruption created by the three was strong enough to send the sirens to another universe. He walked out of the gymnasium and walked to the science room. As he walked down a hall he saw a flier on the wall that caught his eye. He took it off the wall and read it The Battle of the Bands The Dazzling vs. Rainbooms Where: The Colt Hill Stadium When: 9:00 PM The Doctor groaned," great that means I have to go back and grab those disruptors, run all the way down to that stadium, and set up before nine o'clock." He ran back into the gymnasium and went behind the bleachers. He grabbed the disruptors then went behind the stage and grabbed the other disruptor. He then ran past the janitor who was still lost in thought as he burst through the door and ran down the hallway. He stuffed the disruptors in his pockets and threw open the front doors to the school. He ran past the TARDIS and down a few streets befoee stopping to catch his breath. "Are you okay," asked a voice behind him. "Yes i'm fine," he panted as he sat down to look at the owner of the voice. Except no one was there only a purple dog. "Okay well I need your help," the dog responded. "You're that dog I saw earlier. The one dog that somehow can speak." The dog looked at him with curiosity. "Well it's good to see you know who I am," the dog said as he stood up on his hind legs and put his hand on his chest," but I seriously need your help." "Why do you need my help," The Doctor asked as he looked at him with a look of confusion," I'm just an old man to you." "Anyone can help me. My friends got locked down below the stage by another band so that they could play at the finals. I need to find someone not controlled by the sirens and you don't look like it. You do act like it though." The Doctor grumbled a few times before standing up. "Fine but I see one more person who hasn't been affected by their song," he said as he pointed at a girl with a white coat and some jeans. Her hair was strips of sky blue and a light water blue. She wore sunglasses and had headphones on her ears. The Doctor approached her and tapped her on the shoulder. The female looked around and lowered her sunglasses to get a look at The Doctor. She took off her headphones and paused her music. "Whaddya want," the female asked as she looked at The Doctor with impatience. "Well I thought you'd be heading up to the battle of the bands and hoped you'd be able to take me there." The Doctor said as he looked at the dog and winked. "Nah that battle of the bands stuff is pointless dude." The female said as she turned back around. "I'll pay you." The Doctor said as he taunted her. He didn't actually have any money but she didn't know that. "Fine but don't expect anything else from me." The female groaned as she got out of her seat and started walking down the street. The Doctor followed with the dog close behind. He wasn't going to help the dog. He was going to help the planet. He was just using the female to get the dog's friends out of the trap they had fallen into. The female slipped on her pair of headphones and turned her music back on. She started walking to the beat of the music as they continued to walk down streets. "So what is your name?" The dog asked as they stopped at a traffic light. "John Smith." The Doctor replied. He was to busy planning to start a big conversation with the dog. "Well mine's Spike and if i'm correc, that girl up ahead is Vinyl Scratch." The Doctor looked at him with suspicion. "And how would you know that?" The Doctor asked continuing to stare at Spike. "Well she looks like a pony from Equestria known as Vinyl Scratch. Just like those girls you met earlier look like ponies from Equestria as well." The Doctor became even more puzzled. Equestria wasn't the name of a country but a whole different world or dimension or universe. "That's nice." The Doctor said as he continued to think of a plan to stop the sirens. The Doctor seemed to stop looking around and never noticed how close they were to the stadium. The Doctor came back to reality when he heard music playing. He was already to late to start the plan. He'd just need to get to work now. He picked up pace as he grabbed Vinyl's hand and yelled," quickly. We don't have much time." The Doctor was pulling Vinyl along as they got closer to the stadium. When they got to the road to get up the hill The Doctor stopped and looked at Vinyl. She seemed surprised to see an old man pull her to the stadium. "Alright Vinyl," The Doctor said," you need to follow that dog because he needs your help to get some girls out of a trap." "Why do you know my name?" Vinyl asked. "I know someone from another dimension who looks exactly like you." "Well that is just creepy." Vinly replied as she continued to stare. "It doesn't matter anyways. You have girls to save." "Why? How did they even get in there?" "Trixie opened a trap door underneath them and they fell in." Spike replied as he ran up the hill. "I'll pay you double." The Doctor offered. "Fine but nothing else." Vinyl said as she ran after the dog. Now The Doctor was close to relieving this world of the evil sirens.
