Pinkie Pie was prancing all around town, hopping from shop to shop, on a serious mission for party supplies. Today wasn't anything special, but Pinkie will use any excuse to throw a party, and today Pinkie Pie was throwing a party celebrating her happiness. Not everypony had understood her crazy, outgoing way of life.. except Cheese Sandwich. The only pony who could party just like her. Pinkie smiled at the memories of Rainbow's birthaversary. Not only was that a special day to Rainbow Dash, but it was a very special day to Pinkie Pie, as well.
It was the day she had met Cheese Sandwich.
Would she ever meet him again? Probably not. He goes all over Equestria to throw parties, and Pinkie always stays in Ponyville. Pinkie Pie could never ever find him. It was pointless.
...Maybe he could find her! Pinkie hopped up and down excitedly at that thought. Maybe she could see him again! Suddenly, Pinkie's thoughts are interrupted by somepony knocking her over, making Pinkie and the pony to both tumble to the ground.
"Sorry about that pink....Pinkie?"
A familiar voice said. Pinkie Pie's eyes lit up.
"Cheese! It's really you!" Pinkie called out.
"Yeppers! I was actually looking for you. Great to see you!"
Cheese Sandwich exclaimed.
"Nice to see you too but," Pinkie paused. "...You were looking for me? Why?"
Pinkie asked quietly, slightly blushing.
"Well, to start off, your smile always makes me smile! Second, I want to throw a party with ya!"
Cheese Sandwich explained, a light pink blush forming on his cheeks as well.
"What a coincidence!" Pinkie shouted happily. "I was just buying some party supplies for the party I'm throwing right now!"
Cheese psyched himself up.
"Awesome-tastic! What's this one for? Somepony's birthday?"
Cheese Sandwich asked. Pinkie rubbed the back of her neck a little. She knew that Cheese Sandwich meant business, and didn't want to waste his time throwing a silly party for not much of a reason with her. Pinkie thought a moment about what to say, then decided to tell the truth.
"Actually...I just really wanted to have a party today. It's not for anypony. I just decided to make this party to celebrate my happiness. Sorry.."
Pinkie pie lowered her said, staring at the grassy ground.
To Pinkie's surprise, Cheese Sandwich's smile grew wider.
"That sounds great, but..." Pinkie had no idea what he would say next. She remained silent. "..let's make it a celebration for your happiness and a celebration celebrating our first date!"
Pinkie's heart skipped a beat. Did he just say what she thinks he said?
Cheese continued.
"Pinkie Pie, will you go on a date with me after the party?"
Cheese asked, his face now resembling a cherry. Pinkie bounced into the air with glee.
"Yes-yes-yes-yes-yes-yes-yes-yes-yes-yes-yes!"
Pinkie Pie beamed.
