Twilight and her friends went to the barracks and saw Eclipse talking to Shining Armor, so they waited till they were done. After a good half hour they finished chatting and Shining Armor walked to them.
"Hey Twili are you here to talk to Eclipse," he seemed happy like Eclipse didn't act bad to him, "he's a nice guard he always was when I saw him when he visited actually if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be a guard now." This shocked the six mares because they thought since he was related to Twilight Eclipse wouldn't treat him that nicely. Shining said his goodbye and the mares continued to Eclipse when he noticed them he let out a angry sigh.
"What do you want I'm busy getting these guards into shape." Eclipse did look rather busy, so Twilight started backing away, but the others where in her way.
"W-W-We want you to get to know us and some about you, and you'll see that you don't have to hate us." Twilight still wasn't excited about this, but they had to try and see if Rarity's plan would work.
"Ok but make it quick I don't have all day to chat." with that they began their story of how Twilight came to Ponyville and how they stopped Nightmare Moon, Discord, Chrysalis, Sombra, and Tirek and how Twilight became an alicorn and how they know Sunset Shimmer and Twilight told him about the human world through the mirror. After they where finished Eclipse was a little bit surprised of all they done but not fully impressed.
"I bet you still want to know about me too," Eclipse was trying to hide his surprised look and the mares nodded in sync, "Ok I was born as a unicorn, but I never had parents, and one day by chance Luna and Celestia found me and they took me in as their brother and I was with them when they met Discord and came to Ponyville, but as time went on it was Luna who took care of me Celestia never really help that much to begin with and Celestia told me to make friends and she took them away from me," This proved Discord's theory of why he was mad at Celestia and mares just looked in shock,"So after Nightmare Moon was banished I didn't want to be here anymore, so i went to the moon to be with Nightmare Moon." Eclipse gave a look of relief and a sigh then he smiled at the mares, "Thank you I needed to let that out....I guess i was wrong about you Twilight you deserve to be princess I was just upset that Sunset wasn't cause I was expecting to come back to see her as an alicorn."
"I accept your apology now we can be friends," Twilight gave him a nervous smile like she was expecting him to reject her request, "If you want to that is."
Eclipse thought about it for a good few minutes then he nodded and he gave them another smile and began to walk off and headed to his room and once he was gone Rarity let out a laughter of success.
"Haha I told you it would work darling," Rarity was doing a gloating kind of dance and she was laughing uncontrollably, "I'm not like this usually, but this is a special occasion." The other mares were trying to ignore her but they had to tell her that she was right. After Rarity was finish her gloating they left to tell Celestia the good news.
