2: Where are you Ruby?

2: Where are you Rudy?

Luna noticed the moon’s color was now the same as Ruby’s eyes, but that wasn’t only that was wrong now… There were hooded ponies at least ten of them and all of them were looking at Ruby. Ruby’s attention however, was still on the Crimson Moon, the red moonlight didn’t hurt her eyes. She couldn’t take her eyes off of the rich, yet radiant red color, but if Ruby thought that the moon’s color was strange enough a hooded pony made his/her way to Ruby’s right flank, leaned in close to her ear and whispered.
“A past, something each of us have. Some are shorter than others while other are long and tire – some. For you, Princess Ruby, you have always hidden it. Now your secret will soon be revealed to all around you, your presence and we have returned. Your kind, your kinsman. Sometimes those hidden truths are as bright as Celestia’s sun or as dark as Luna’s star filled sky under the full moon. For you, Beautiful Ruby, your secrets are as dark as the moonless, starless night, where the sun’s rays never illuminate the truths. Only the light of the Crimson Moon, this night, can penetrate that void of darkness.”
“What?” Ruby asked before she brought the pony’s words to her mind. ‘For you, Beautiful Ruby, your secrets are as dark as the moonless, starless night, where the sun’s rays never illuminate the truths. The truths? Wait as in ‘the truths’ of my past? That might be it… but I find that easy it believe. But how-’
Ruby’s thoughts were cut short, she began to feel light-headed, and her legs wobbly. The pony next her had injected something into her side with a syringe, suddenly her world became black. The last she remembered hearing were what sounded like a room full of shouts, they called out to her. “RUBY!!!!!”
---
The last thing Princess Luna saw before a bright light that had enveloped the room, was a hooded pony holding something next to her daughter Ruby’s right side, Ruby looked as if she was ill. Then she had fallen on to her left as she blacked out.
“Ruby?” Luna called as the brightness dimed. “Ruby?”
Sunset was perched on a balcony high above the other ponies, so could find Ruby… But Ruby was gone…. Gone, and it had been her fault. Celestia looked to her own daughter, who was on verge of breaking into a state of crying. She ordered the guards in the room to gather round up their men and to start searching for Princess Ruby Sparkle.
Luna just couldn’t fathom what had just happened to her Ruby, her precious baby, the only other pony she truly loved, she let of wail as she was crying her eyes out.
“RUBY!!!”
Sunset flew down to her aunt, and tried her best to comfort her. Celestia joined the embrace, but one, and only thing she couldn’t stop asking herself was…
‘Where are you Ruby? Where you?’
