Applebloom showed the trio around Ponyville, and introduced them to a few of the local ponies. She took them past the “Carousel Boutique” in which Mable noticed a dress on display that she really liked. The eventually came across the “Golden Oaks Library” but it was closed for the day, so they continued on. Eventually Dipper became impatient and wished to return back to “Sweet Apple Acre’s”.
“ Not to be rude, but it looks like it’s getting late why don’t we head back so we can get an early start at returning home” Dipper stated with an embarrassed smile.
“But we still have to see ‘Sugar Cube Corner’ I want to introduce you guys to my friend ‘Pinkie Pie’. Just as Applebloom finished her sentence, a bright pink pony burst out of a nearby bush nearly giving Dipper a heart attack.
“Did somepony say my name… Huhhhhhhhh, omygoshomygoshomygosh, why did no one tell me there was new ponies in town, I have to throw them a “Welcome to Ponyville Party”. Pinkie stated as she bounced around the fillies.
“ O my gosh, I love parties “ Mable said ecstatically.
‘’I do too, you three should come by tomorrow at the same time and I will throw you the bestest, most funnest party in town” Pinkie Pie shouted.
“Thanks but no thanks, we have to go back home tomorrow” Dipper said.
Awww! Pinkie, Soos and Mable said in unison with Pinkie Pie beginning to tear up.
“Aww come on Dipper, it will be fun, also we have plenty of time to go home, and we can just go after the party.” Mable pleaded with Dipper.
“Yeah come on dude, lighten up.. I mean it’s not every day you get invited to a party”. Soos remarked.
“ Do you guys not see the severity of the situation we are in, we are trapped here in Ponyville, we don’t even know if we can return home and all you guys are concerned about is some party, for all we know Grunkle Stan could be wondering around the Mystery Shack, worried sick about us” Dipper said frantically.
MEAN WHILE:
“Kids, kids, shesh where the heck are those two, these “Stan Pines” bobble heads aren’t going to sell themselves… eh forget it, I am sure they will show up later”. Stan said as he headed toward the fridge. “I probably should go look for those two”. Stan said as he rummaged through the fridge.
“O hey, pizza. Wait is this still any good” Stan mumbled to himself as he smelled the slice of pizza. He shrugged as he popped the piece into his mouth and shut the fridge before walking away.
“ Pleeeeease Dipper” Mable begged. Dipper looked around at the group of ponies that looked at him with saddened expressions. Dipper crossed his hooves and sighed. “Fine”! Dipper said with a little annoyance. Mable, Soos, Pinkie and Applebloom jumped up with joy while Dipper just sat there annoyed that Mable and Soos is wasting time he believes they don’t have.
“This is ‘AMAZING’, I promise your party will be the best one you have ever had.” Pinkie said as she bounced happily away from the group.
“Bye “. Mable waved as the pink mare bounced out of view. “This town is awesome, everyone here is so nice, I wish people back in our town could be so charitable”. Said Mable.
It was late that afternoon by the time Applebloom and the others returned to the farm and AJ already had dinner made. Everyone ate their dinner and went off to bed preparing for the day ahead. The next morning, Applebloom and the others were awoken by loud knocking on the door, as Applebloom went to answer it she became startled when a pink mare ran past her. "Goooood morning I hope you all are excited for my party tonight" Pinkie said with glee.
"We are, but isn't a tad to early"? Dipper asked.
"Oh silly me I almost forgo...." was all Pinkie could say before Scootaloo and Sweetiebelle both snatched a startled Applebloom before running off.
"What was that all about"? Mable asked.
"I have no idea" Dipper said.
"Me neither" Pinkie shrugged. "Anyway what I was about to tell you is that I need you 3's help, we have a lot of planning to do if we are to get all of these parties ready” Pinkie pie said as she bounced back toward the door.
“Parties? You mean there more we have to go to after our party”. Dipper grimaced.
“While yes there is another apart besides yours, I am going to throw them both together and call it the, “Welcome to Ponyville and Welcome home Twilight” party. Pinkie said as she threw confetti from her hooves.
“Thats why I am here so early, so we can get everything ready before Twilight gets home”. Pinkie said now out the door with Dipper, Mable and Soos following behind.
“But won’t this ruin our surprize”? Mable asked.
“Huuuuuuuuh”! Pinkie gasped, “You are right, I did not think about that. On second thought you 3 go play and I will find somepony else to help and will come back to get you 3 tonight when the party starts”. Pinkie said as she ran off out of the barn. “Oh RainbowDash”, was all Dipper and Mable heard before she disappeared.
Dipper just sighed with annoyance, before realizing what she just said. “Wait, tonight”? Dipper questioned. “So we have to stay another night”. Dipper grimaced while Mable and Soos both said “Yes” in unison and gave each other a hive five or in this case a hive hoove.
Meanwhile:
“Hey where are we going”? Applebloom asked as her friends rushed her out of the barn and toward their club house. Upon arrival Applebloom, finally is able to free herself and asked Scoots and Sweetie what they were in such a hurry for in a rather annoyed tone. “I want y’all to tell me why y’all dragged me all the way here so early in the morning. “Ah was hoping to get some more sleep before AppleJack had me do chores”. Applebloom said.
“Sorry”! Sweetiebelle and Scootaloo said in unison. “We were just excited because we now have everything we need to summon that creature”. Scoots said.
“Yeah, we even have a picture of Diamond Tiara and Silverspoon with a X crossed over them”. Sweetiebelle said holding up the small picture.
“Wait, WHAT”? Applebloom asked with confusion? “How did y’all get all of the material, Twilight isn’t even home yet and won’t be until tonight so how did y’all get the unicorn magic… I don’t remember having to have a picture for the summoning”. Applebloom remarked.
“Yeah, we were a bit confused by it ourselves, but then we thought that maybe the author made a mistake and updated it on another page; looking over the page is different than the one we first encountered it on” Sweetiebelle said.
“Really? Let me see”. Applebloom asked as she took the book from Sweetiebelle and skimmed over it. Sure enough the page had indeed changed and so had the summoning spell. Closing the book Applebloom contemplated before replying with a big smile. “This is great, now we can do it right away.. come on lets go summon it”. Applebloom said as she ran toward the door only to be stopped by Scootaloo.
“Actually there is one thing we forgot to mention”. Scootaloo said as she gulped.
“What is it” Applebloom asked.
“Well the new summoning rules said we need to do it in a dark forest and the only one that comes to mind is the Everfree”. Scootaloo said.
“The E..Everfree Forest” Applebloom said before slumping down low. “AppleJack won’t let me go there again, do to the whole cockatrice incident, atleast not without a adult”. Applebloom sighed.
“Well we could go tonight, won’t everypony be at Pinkies party”? Scootaloo asked.
“Are ya crazy, night time is when most of the dangerous creatures come out, also would Pinkie become suspicious if she found out we were not there”? Applebloom asked.
“Thats why we will go to the party, great Pinkie Pie and then when the time is right, leave and head toward the Everfree, also we won’t go far, most creatures in the Everfree won’t leave the forest so we will stay close to the entrance so we can flee if we spot anything”. Scootaloo said with confidence. Applebloom sighed in defeat before agreeing to the plan. They would attend the party and then head toward the forest.
Meanwhile:
“It sure was nice of the princess to lend me all of these books, wasn’t it Spike”? Twilight said as she trotted through Canterlot, toward the train station. “Yeah it was.. I just wish it wasn’t so many” Spike mumbled, holding a large pile of books.
“What was that” Twilight asked.
“Nothing” Spike immediately replied.
“Oh Spike I can’t wait to get back to Ponyville and get to reading all of these new books”. Twilight said, with joy as they approached the train station. As the train pulled into the station, Twilight exclaimed “ Next stop Ponyville”.
