"Damn it", exclaimed the Queen of Changelings.
"We were so close to all that delicious food." Swearing to herself and slamming a hoof on her throne.
It was the a few hours after the Royal Canterlot Wedding. The Queen of Changelings managed to obtains scatters of her subjects in the night, but needed to search for them all. In the deepest of darkest holes, the Queen of Changelings sits in her throne. Deciding on the next strike.
Inside her royal throne, the Queen of Changelings was talking to her smartest Changeling,
"My queen. You and I both know it is too early for a strike. We barely managed to gather the rest of the cabinets." He was cut off as the Queen of Changelings retorts,
"I don't care. I want to get revenge for that little princess BITCH!" as she knocks a changeling across the room.
"I want you to track down.... Twilight-SPARKLE... Send one of the finest of the swarm to Ponyville."
"But my queen, he's still recovering from the force fields." But was cut off as she retorts,
"I had enough of these excuses. I order you to send him at once!" As she storms off to her private quarters.
"Yes... your highness...", says the Assistant, swearing and flying away.
A few moments later the assistant enters a dark corridor with injured Changelings lined on the bottom of the wall. Some wimping from the fall and some from the Pinkie Cannon. All of them, whining to themselves in pain and despair from horrific day. The assistant then arrives to an open cavern with several dark caves. A single spec of light was shining through the crack of the ceiling as a small stream ran across the open chasm.
The assistant knocks on the entrance of a near by cave, waiting. Telepathically a voice responded,
"What is.... it?" in a deep gritty voice. The assistant explains,
"Her royal highness assigned you a mission."
"Another fucking mission? What was the last one too easy for the bitch?"
"This time it isn't recon, this time your infiltrating a primary target", explains the assistant
"Finally I'm off recon duty...", said the Changeling, as a green glow came from the dark cave. Revealing a sickening row of razor sharp teeth and green soulless eyes. "What's the target?"

"Mother of Celestia.... What happen last night?",
croaked faithful student Twilight Sparkle waking up near a royal statue. All she could remember was remnants of the Royal wedding conflict and... the after party.
"Man that was some party....Pinkie Pie is good...."
As she regains her balance, Pinkie Pie hops towards her.
"Twilight-Twilight-Twilight Goooood Morning!", shouts Pinkie Pie as she hops around Twilight.
"Dear Celestia, how are you perfectly fine Pinkie, I saw you drank more than me!"
"I'm the element of laughter remember, I party all day all night!" exclaims Pinkie as she hops around the place crashing into the bushes and paths.
A few minutes later Pinkie and Twilight rejoin with the rest of the Mane 6. The rest were also hung over too. Especially Rainbowdash. She has a very low drinking limit. One sip of applesider can lead to a very...aroused Pegasus. Mostly recalled by ponies passing by, most winking towards Rainbowdash with a flirty grin.
Embarrassed, Rainbowdash shyly says,
"Can we go back now? I have a bad feeling staying here too long now."
"Sure Rainbowdash", replies Twilight, "Lets say our goodbyes first."
After saying their goodbyes in Canterlot, the Mane 6 finally took the train ride home.
During the trip back, Twilight concernedly says,
"Guys, since we know changelings exist...we should be more careful now."
"How so Twi-Light, those little rascals can't even lay a finger on us", says Applejack.
"Yes darling, those little disgusting creatures couldn't possibility harm us", replies Rarity.
"I don't know", Twilight says sincerely "Just promise you all will be careful. Princess Celestia told me earlier today that those changelings we fought were just grunts. That the elites of the swarm were already hiding among us."
Everyone shocked from the revelation, looked around in confusion and fear as the train arrived back to Ponyville.

Upon arrival and boarding off, Twilight reminded them again, "Please be careful."
But most of them weren't really concerned at all. The only pony really frightened was Fluttershy as she shutters in the idea of a changeling. She would think to herself in fear, "What if the conductor was a changeling... What if the Celestia talking to Twilight was a changeling to scare us....What if one of us is a changeling.... Ohhhh why do changelings has to be sooo scary..."
Fluttershy then walks around town with caution and evasion. She ducked and cover in every hiding spot possible. Spike noticed when she hid under him. Spike asks,
"Whats your problem Fluttershy, is something following you?
"No nothing..I'm just being caution about Changelings."
"Ohh relax", replies spike "Its all been one night, they can't possible regroup that fast."
"Now that you put it that way...Thank you", she says in a happily sweet voice.
After the conversation with spike, Fluttershy trotted back home. She couldn't wait to tell Angel about her adventures in Canterlot. When she arrives home she opens the door to find an oddly quiet house.
"Huh, usually Chip and Dale play in this time of day" she thought to herself walking inside.
The room was empty as Fluttershy yells quietly,
"Ohh Angel... where are you? I got some delicious treats from Canterlot your going to love."
She walks towards the kitchen to find a shadow eating on the floor.
"Angel are you hungry already? I thought Mr. Greenhooves was feeding you while I was gone."
As she walks towards the figure chewing viciously on the ground. "Angel...", Fluttershy says unsure as she screams to see the figure turning its head to show green soulless eyes jumping towards her.

"Have you seen Fluttershy today", asked Rainbowdash.
"I haven't seen her today ever since we got off the train", responds Twilight
"Huh she must be putting her choir birds back."
"But doesn't she keep them in a cage?", but was interrupted to see Fluttershy walking pass them.
"Yo Fluttershy, you want to stop by Pinkie's for some cake? I know you want her special sweet pie", exclaims Rainbowdash. Fluttershy nods towards them and follows Rainbowdash, flying aloft.
Inside the bakery, Pinkie hopped towards them asking,
"What do you guys want? The usual?"
"Ugh this time I'll get the coffee cake, my head is still hung over a bit", explains Rainbowdash.
"And you Fluttershy. The usual I assume?", questioned Pinkie.
Fluttershy nods her head in acknowledgment.
"Ahhh being extra shy today I see. Is it about the Changeling still?"
Fluttershy just shakes her head back and forth. Giving no as her answer.
Curious, Pinkie trots away to prepare their order.
"So Fluttershy, I been thinking... I think I'm lesbians for you!" admits RainbowDash a little drunk.
Fluttershy giving a shocked expression.
"Please listen to me, I been watching you a while and that cute innocent expression makes me desire you", as Rainbowdash intertwines hooves with her.
Instantly Fluttershy escapes.
She flew as fast as she could with Rainbowdash chasing her.
"Come back here and accept my love! Whether you like it or not", Rainbowdash says angrily.
Frightened, Fluttershy hides under covers. Hoping she wouldn't get caught.
But jinxed herself to find Rainbowdash on top of her.
"Your going to LOVE ME!" shouts Rainbowdash.
Expressionless, Fluttershy exposes a row sharp teeth and green soulless eyes.

"Hey rarity do you reckon you know where Rainbowdash is", asked AppleJack.
"No darling, not a clue. I heard she was going with Fluttershy to Pinkie's for a bite", explains Rarity
"Huh I be best get going then. See yall later Rarity."
When Applejack arrived inside, Pinkie was yelling across the room in anger. Applejack asks,
"Whats wrong Pinkie Pie? Over baked customers?", chuckling to herself.
"No! Fluttershy and Rainbowdash where just here and disappeared before I could give them my pastries!"
"Huh its not like Rainbowdash to skip on some desert. Hold on Pinkie I'll find them" as Applejack trots off.
"When you find them tell me, I tried putting Applesider in Rainbowdash's order", giggling Pinkie.
After a few minutes troting around, Applejack found Rainbowdash near Twilight's house.
"Yo Rainbowdash can I talk to you for a second?", asks Applejack.
Rainbowdash nods and comes closer to Applejack.
"Here follow me I need to show you something." as she trots away with Rainbowdash following.
The two of them arrive at the barn. The two ponies walk through the tall silo doors. Then Applejack instantly stops in the middle of the room, facing the opposite direction. Frightened Rainbowdash looks around nervously.
"There's something I been meaning to tell you and since I'm the element of honesty...", stutters Applejack,
"I love you Rainbowdash!", confessed Applejack
Confused and shocked, Rainbowdash walks back slowly.
"Don't be silent with me lady. I love you Rainbowdash. That free spirit of yours made me jumpier than a kangeroo in a bounce house!", as she trots close to Rainbowdash whispering "Also you kind of... raped me during the after-after party..."
Rainbowdash slowly walking back hitting the wall as Applejack slowly closes in on her. Her expression cute and innocent. Filled with emotions and no distraction. She stared deeply into Rainbowdash's eyes, preparing to kiss her. But stopped instantly to see green soulless eyes staring back.

"Spike did you ever notice everyone has been acting strange ever since we got back?", questioned Twilight.
"Nonsense your just.. you-know.. being over critical. Maybe its a side effect from the party."
"I don't know.", replied Twilight "Celestia did remind me of Changelings..."
"Like I said Over Dramatic!", as spike walks out snapping a finger towards Twilight.
"Aw darling Sweetie Belle, has the sales gone up since I was gone?", asked Rarity.
"Not much, you only been gone for a couple of days you know"
"Huh...beauty is slow i suppose", sighing to herself. But instantly relieved when Applejack passes by.
Instinctively, Rarity trotted outside and confronted Applejack.
"Darling why don't you come inside, I do need some company", asked Rarity in a sincere voice.
Applejack just shook her head and gave no for an answer.
Rarity, insistent, pushes Applejack inside saying, "Now-now, you don't want to keep a lady waiting."
Inside, Applejack and Rarity are sitting across a table facing each other.
"So darling anything interesting happen to you in the after party?", asked Rarity.
Applejack shook her head giving the same answer as before.
"Ohh really? Why aren't you talking? Did something happen?"
Applejack gave the exact same answer.
"Hmmp I'm one of your PFF's and you don't tell me any of these secrets, Ms. honesty?
At first Applejack was tired and annoyed but noticed Rarity tearing up.
"Why doesn't anyone care about me anymore", she blurts out in sadness.
Pitiful, Applejack comes close to Rarity. Snuggles next to her.
Their manes intertwines and rubbing from the cuddling motion.
Rarity, filled with emotion, reveals her true feelings,
"Applejack... your one of the only ponies who really cares about me...", as Rarity tears up.
"I love you Applejack...." as she then nuzzles close to Applejack. Her hoof riding up the side of Applejack's hip.
"I liked you for a very long time..." making a beautiful innocent look. Looking into Applejack's eyes with sincerity and love. But instantly the feeling was destroyed from green soulless eyes.

"Dang Twilight and her library. Why did she make me clean the library? Was it from what I said? Pleeease, its only true. I mean Changelings don't just appear from thin air!"
And speaking of the devil, a knocking on the door interrupted spike.
Spike hopped from book ladder to answer the door. There stood Rarity.
"Ohhh-ohh Rarity I wasn't expecting you. Is there something you need?"
Rarity gives a nod and walks in.
"What? am I too low of a scum to talk to?", Spike says feeling insulted.
Rarity looking back to give a affectionate expression. Instantly Spike felt his feelings for Rarity grow stronger and forgave Rarity for the rude entrance.
"So what is it that you need Rarity?"
Rarity gave a nod and showed a picture of Twilight.
"Twilight? She won't be coming back for a while. She went to look for the others. Shes afraid they been acting weir-d...", but was cut off when Rarity walked up close to Spike.
"Wha-what... Rarity is there something the matter?", Spike said in confusion.
Wordless, Rarity huddles up to Spike. Nuzzling her smooth face again his scaly head. She blew him a couple of kisses and burrows her head into him. Spike, speechless, embraces Rarity saying,
"Rarity I always loved you!", which was obvious since he would always drool for her.
The two cuddled next to each other. Spike mindless and filled with desire. Rarity staring back towards him. Giving him a kiss on the cheek. Then exposing a row of sharp teeth and green soulless eyes.

"So you don't know where they went Pinkie?", questioned Twilight.
"I told you already Twilight, they left before I could see where they went!", exclaims Pinkie.
"But Rarity did say she was going to visit your house after finding Rainbowdash."
"Thanks Pinkie I'll see you later."
Troting back Twilight thought to herself, "I don't understand... Fluttershy wasn't home whenI I got there. Angel was unconscious and couldn't explain anything. The people in the market area told me Rainbowdash was chasing after Fluttershy, but appeared to be following Applejack shortly after. And a few hours later, Rarity invited Applejack inside her shop. Then a few minutes after, Rarity went to visit Pinkie and now went straight for my house? This all doesn't make sense. Maybe Spike knows whats going on."
As the unicorn walks up to her door. To find it unlocked and slightly opened.
"Strange usually spike loves locking the door", wondered Twilight.
"Spike you home?", shouts Twilight "Come on cleaning up the library wasn't that bad."
Twilight walks upstairs towards the bedroom.
The room was dark and empty. Not a single sound came from the house. The shades were drawn so that a shade of darkness filled the room. Barely noticeable, Twilight sees Spike waiting patiently on her bed.
"Spike... what are you doing. It's Daytime and you want to close the curtains?"
Spike moved from the bed towards Twilight.
"Spike are you alright..?", but she was cut off.
Horrificly, Spike's arms grew three times. Exposing black flesh and long green claws. His body morphing into a long slender figure. He face exploding to show a merciless expression. A row of teeth and green soulless eyes. Instantly Twilight used her magic to push the Changeling back, but was in vain.
The Changeling grew closer giving a wicked laugh and grinding its teeth. Marching closer and closer to Twilight. Frightened Twilight stumbles back on to the floor. The changeling closing in on her. Twilight crawled backwards to smack into the wall. The Changeling gives off a hysterical laugh, his eyes deeply glaring into Twilight.
Panicking, Twilight threw books, tables, anything to stop the oncoming monster. But with ease, the monster pushed all the oncoming projectiles out of the way. Smashing it onto the floor of the room. Chairs and novels crashing into surrounding furniture.
Not even a booksheld held the monster back. The shelf was split in half in an explosion of debris and scattered splitters. Barely missing Twilight and scattering across the floor.
Twilight, panicked, stumbles back. She hits herself on the wall pulling the blinds open. The exposed skin of the true form of the Changeling exploded. Flesh and bones where burning in the sunlight. As the rest of the changeling...it was nothing but specs of dust.

After the horrific event, Twilight found the missing ponies inside the Tree's basement. She was glad Changelings only consumed from love from other ponies. Twilight was talking to everyone about the whole mess. She exclaims,
"I can't believe it. How could changelings be so strong? More importantly, I didn't know changelings were weak in sunlight? I don't know how that makes sense but at least where safe now right everyone?"
Everyone gave a scream and a shout as Pinkie Pie stood in the background with green soulless eyes.
