//------------------------------// // Mirage // Story: Reflections // by loopsorspool //------------------------------// I don't go far before I run into something. Rubbing my bruised nose I look at the thing that so rudely stopped me. But there was nothing there. 'Must be glass,' I think to myself, 'I hate glass. It's evil!' After glaring a few hate daggers at the glass I continue my search, only for the same thing to happen again! There is glass everywhere in this field! 'Ooh, that dumb glass!' Even the though of it's evilness makes me mad. Suddenly I feel a short, warm breeze behind me. Even in my short time here, I knew that was not normal. I slowly turn to the source. Before me stands a monster that fills the sky, it's lopsided horror of a face opens it's sideways mouth, threatening to swallow me whole. I quickly turn around and dash straight into another glass wall. I can feel the enormous monster slowly lumbering after me, I choose a random direction and start running. This was odd, a new dream. Thinking back, Luna didn't remember there being any new foals today, but there it was a dream of a new pony. "Day Dream, Starry Nights," Luna asked her attendents who followed her into the realm of dreams, "I must ask you to cover for me this night. There is something strange ahoof I must attend to." And with that the Princess of the Night opened the door to this new ponies dream. Inside was a nightmare like that of a child. The pallet of the dream was dark colours, and had points on almost everything. There was a field with pillars of glass and a large house that was chasing a lavender earth pony.
