//------------------------------// // Bathtime Part Two // Story: A Message to Rainbow Dash // by AlliePastel //------------------------------// Scootaloo looked blankly in front of her as she pondered the question. She had no idea how long she had with the stuff in this room, she had even less of a concept of how long she had spent with the toys already. She panned her head over at her crib as a something unique caught her eye. An eager grin came across her face as she smiled, “Ooh, stuffies!” she said pointing towards her mattress. Fluttershy’s eyes went wide as she realized what her daughter was pointing at. Something inside her understood that stuffed animals might be more of a childhood fascination, but everyone enjoys a good stuffed animal. It was only right for Scootaloo to play with them. She walked over to the crib, lightly placing her daughter feet first onto the crib. She hit the mobile on and grabbed a small walkie talkie like device from the side of the crib’s service. She reached over and turned the dial on a small device that hung off the side of the white crib’s wood, “It’s called a ‘baby monitor’. If you need mommy, just say so. Looking down at Scootaloo, it was more than obvious that she was far more interested in playing with the various cutesie animals that she had gathered from over the years. The child seemed to slow down when hugging any one of the toys; no doubt she was anxious about the outfit. She seemed to use a fluffy black dog toy to cover the majority of her front; she was sitting crossed legged. Fluttershy looked around the room; she’d actually managed to lose the attention of her daughter. Awkwardly, she made brisk steps backwards out of the nursery. She cleared her throat, “U-uh, Scootaloo? I’m going to make snack.” The child’s mind flashed, refocusing on her mommy figure as she closed the doorway behind her. Her nerves tensed up and released like a spring as her body warmed up. Suddenly the cloudless train of thought she’d developed while being enticed by her animals suddenly became fogged with a sense of hollow emptiness. She couldn’t stand feeling alone, not that being with someone right now other than her mother would really make her feel ‘nice’. Her feet felt cold, as if there was really a subtle breeze inside her nursery. Her nursery felt cold, but she knew it wasn’t. It just felt ‘cold’. Her hands reached over and lightly clutched a nearby white teddy bear and held it close to he chest. Her head delved down into the white bear’s plush overcoat. She blushed despite knowing there was no one in the room with her. Tapping her fingers around the bear’s sides and back, eventually giving it another tight squeeze; She nommed the ear, licking it’s velvety ear up and down slowly as she paced her breath. She looked up at her mobile as a shocking revelation came to mind. She scattered around the crib, ripping up some of the pastel colored blankets in search for the desire in her mind. She picked up the blanket and her throw blanket underneath it. Smiling, she found what she was missing. With a small victorious grin on her face, she held up a white pacifier and immediately pushed it’s rubber nipple between her lips. “Mmm…” she sounded as she laid back on the mattress, feeling the plush softness of the blankets and her pillow engulf her back. She grabbed her teddy bear and hugged it close to her chest, melting in the softness. She closed her eyes and ducked her feet under her blankets. Turning on her side, she felt herself slowly become weightless as she drifted into sleep… “Scootaloo?” Fluttershy questioned as she stepped into the nursery. ‘She couldn’t have been gone more than ten minutes, what happened?’ the mother questioned as she stepped towards the crib. Looking down at her child, she could tell instantly that her daughter was blacked out again. “Awe, poor baby.” Fluttershy cooed, setting down a tray of cookies. Grabbing the sippy cup filled with milk she had prepared, she ran her fingers up and down the side of the plastic as she contemplated the situation. “Well…” she whispered to herself as she made her way over to a small cabinet. Scanning through the various baby bottles she had, she pulled out the biggest one she could and set it on the wooden counter space down below. Popping the top off of both the sippy cup and the bottle, she poured the sippy cup’s milk into the other container and sealed it shut. She carried it to her daughter and through a tricky maneuver; replaced the pacifier’s nipple with the milk dripping nipple of her new bottle. The child’s hands let go of the bear as the both of them gripped unto the bottle’s polythene sides. Her expression turned from jaded to relieve as her curled up fetal position lessened a little. Fluttershy stared in admiration as her daughter appeared to loose herself in a dream. “Mmm, baby.” She sounded, rehooking the baby monitor and turning the mobile a little with her finger. She smiled, brushing her hand lovingly through Scootaloo’s short haircut, “You know how proud I am of you? You’re the best little girl a momma could have Scoots. You’re the most precious thing to me. Enjoy your nap sweetie; Momma will be here in the morning. I promise.” She cooed. “Hnng.” Scootaloo moaned, shifting a little bit. A sudden dead silence was filled with the subtle sounds of *pomfing* from the child. Smirking, the mother giggled a bit under her breath. ‘It’d be best if I get prepared now’, Fluttershy said, pacing over to the changing table. *** “H-huh?” The young girl question as she felt an uncomfortable breeze send a shiver down her spine. She opened her eyes, rubbing them with her palms to keep them from closing. Her vision went from blurry to crystal clear as she recognized the figure that stood over her; it was her mommy. Her face lightened up as a grin grew across her face. Meekly she muttered “Momma!” as she threw her hands into the air. Fluttershy moved her hands over to an open container of wipes as she delivered a warm smile to her favorite baby. She gave the child a warm smile as she began lightly wiping her messy behind. Under her calm motherly expression, she was on the verge of giggling widely at her daughter’s dazed confusion. “Is something a matter?” she asked, bringing out the powder and pounding the bottom of it’s container. An aroma of an infantile nature fumigated Scootaloo’s nose as the realization of what she did came to mind. She blushed, feeling a whole new wave of shame wash over her body. Her body tensed as she watched her mom lift a new diaper into the air. “I-I-Why?” she asked, lifting her feet into the air. Looking at her tummy, she could see she was still wearing her body suit. ‘Why?’ was the only thing flowing through her mind. She never had a trouble pottying in that way and she most certainly had no objection to using the restroom. “Cause sweetie….” Fluttershy said, pushing a crisp poofy diaper under her child’s powder caked bottom. Smiling, taped the garment snug around her baby’s waist, “you’re just a baby. You know you can’t control your pottying anymore than you can control the little waddle you do.” She smiled, pulling a pair of pink leggings up her daughter’s legs and past her padded bottom. The design of the animals around the front was completely visible when the tights were completely covering her bottom. Scootaloo looked up dazed at her mother. She shook her head and lifted her arms upwards towards her mommy, “Mmm.” Fluttershy wrapped her hands around her daughter’s body and brought her close against her chest. Smiling, she started patting her daughter’s bottom, “Awe baby girl. You don’t know your limits yet. You just got to let mommy take care of your little accidents. It’s not your fault you had a little blowout earlier, mommy shouldn’t have fed you something that’d upset your tummy so much.” “Oh why?” the child said, sinking her head into the space between both her mom’s breast, “This is so incredibly embarrassing. Ugh!” shaking a bit, she squeezed her mom extra tight. Ignoring her daughter’s hug, she paced her way over to a small contraption and set her baby down. Coughing a little, she caught the attention of her daughter who was now sitting on the ground looking a bit lost. It took her a second, but she eventually caught eye contact with her baby. “Hello?” Fluttershy said, waving a hand at her baby. “Anyway, this thingy right here will help make your legs a little stronger and it’ll make your coordination better. It might be a bit young for you, but I think you’ll have some fun playing with it.” She said, lifting her daughter up and lacing her legs though it’s holes. “Comfy?” She questioned. A bizarre curiosity swept crossed the child’s mind as she bounced up a little, but was still unable to crawl out of the contraption. Her tummy was completely caught in the thing, leaving only the upper part of her chest to move around. “Let me just…” The mother muttered, hitting the wheel lock off. “There you go, you can walk a little bit now baby.” “Hmm…” Scootaloo said, messing with a few tracker balls on the walker’s tray. Smiling, she looked up at her mommy and asked, “What’s thing called?” “It’s called a ‘baby walker’ sweetie. It’s meant to help get baby’s out of their toddling days. Not to mention it should be fun for you. Look, a spinney rainbow thing!” she giggled, flicking a rotating ball. Turning her cheek to Scootaloo, she walked over to hanging T.V on the wall and hit the on switch. She hit the channel buttons and switched it to something she found a little more ‘appropriate’ for her baby. “Huh? Isn’t that a little kid’s channel?” The child question slowly walking up to the flat screen and looking up aimlessly at it. The mother nodded, watching how her daughter’s basic pink tights clashed with the walkers more elaborate pink seat. Smiling, she hopped up in the air a bit, “Ooh, I need to get you bloomers. Ooh, you’d looked so adorable in them!” she cooed, biting her thumb a bit. Scootaloo crossed her arms and pouted, “What am I, Your little dress up doll?” Giggling, Fluttershy shook her head, “Hehe, not really sweetie. But the bloomers would look nice on you. You’ve got a cute little tushie.” She smirked, watching as her baby’s face turned from pouty to blushy again. “Ugh…” Scootaloo groaned, planting her head on the tray and walking forward a bit. Despite her obvious embarrassment, she actually really enjoyed the compliment. Why someone would call her butt ‘cute’ was beyond her understanding, but it still sounded nice. The mother smile watching her baby move about the room a little. It was weird how well Scootaloo fell under the role of a toddler. She really did need help, how she went this long without showing her younger side was astonishing. ‘Scootaloo was probably having a great time’. She thought to herself. She walked over to the counter white counter top that she used to prepare food in the nursery. She reached for a small pumping device and put it back into an overhead shelves. She reached her hand over to a small yellow cookie jar and picked out one of the snacks she’d made from earlier in the day and walked it over to her daughter. Scootaloo was too busy looking at the colorful cartoonish animals gallivanting across the screen to realize what was going on around her. In the corner of her eye, she watched her mom drop a few cookies onto the tray and make her way out of the room. Suddenly, the child’s composter became less constructed. She was alone and the tele was playing pretty loud. Shakily, her hands grabbed a hold of one of the cookies and she took a small bite, letting one of the small chocolate chips melt on her tongue. She smiled, using her legs to bounce up and down in the walker. Taking another bite of the cookie, she started to babble every poorly constructed word that came to mind. “I-ye-bae-ee.” She moaned, droll dribbling down her chin as she made up more syllables. Her knees buckled the rest of her body in a state of balanced strain and relaxation. She melted into her seat, feeling a warmth that she’d become all too familiar with. She squeed, blushing as she took another bite of her cookie. Smiling, she hit the rainbow ball and watched as it spun around, “I-de baby!” *** Inside her room, Fluttershy’s hand eagerly went across her letter as she jotted down every word that came to mind. It was hard coming up with the right words, but she wanted to tell her friend everything. “Dear Rainbow Dash, Oh, I’ve had so much fun taking care of Scootaloo. I don’t care what I said earlier about being a bad mommy, I’m a great mommy! I’m not sure what it is about the site of Scootaloo and her padded behind, but it melts my heart every time I see her! Have you ever gotten a chance to take care of a baby? A chance to hold some one smaller than you in your arms and knowing you’re their whole world? She’s so cute; she hugs me and wants me to talk to her and to play with her. She’s also learning how to relax more now! She started off hugging some stuffed animals and by the time I got back she was completely tuckered out. I’d love to know what was going on in her mind as she fell asleep. I’d imagine someone her age really enjoys playing with stuffed animals, let alone cuddling with them. Still, I worry about her bathroom habits. I’m aware she has acute damage in her vaginal muscles, but I can’t pin-point her actions entirely. After leaving to make a bottle of milk for Scootaloo, I noticed her diaper was all bulgy. She messed herself, enough so that it came out of the sides of her diaper. I know it’s technically called a ‘blowout’ and I used that term around her, but it really does concern me a bit. I plan on changing her diet a little bit tonight. Hopefully some baby food and milk will help settle her tummy better. If not, I’m sure she’ll still enjoy the taste of strained carrots and my milk. I’ll tell you how it goes next letter. Heck, the snow is getting so bad that I’m going to have to wait to send these letters anyway. Hopefully by then I’ll be able to get to play with Scootaloo a little bit more, maybe help her potty train, and maybe help her learn to deal with stress more. Anyhow, I hope you’re enjoying yourself. ~Fluttershy.” Fluttershy clicked her pen, shutting it closed and she stood up from her study table. She walked over to her crispy wooden dresser and opened its rustic looking shutters to reveal a different outfit. Her hands scanned behind and undid her bra. Sighing, she started removing clothes until she was completely undressed. She grabbed made her way over to her drawer and brought out new underwear. This time the underwear was a basic white design opposed to the baby blue stripes she wore earlier. She wasn’t one for scandalous clothes to begin with and she most certainly wasn’t going to be wearing it around her baby. She sat down on her bed and laced her feet through her panties. Smiling, she pulled them up her legs and around her butt. No matter how big her panties were, she always struggled to get them around her butt for some reason it seemed. Smirking a bit, she grabbed a similarly colored bra and laced her arms through its straps. She did the hinges properly, then rotated it to accommodate for her boobs. She smiled warmly looking down at the bra. She knew there was something unique about her bra, something that she never expected she’d use for real. She reached over to the side of her bed and brought a light lacey gown over her shoulders. She always enjoyed this gown in particular. Something about its design screamed to her young but not flashy. Bringing its straps over her shoulders, she laid back in her bed, planting the back of her head into her blankets. “Huh?” She questioned, hearing a small vibrating noise come across the room. She sat up straight and hopped to her feet and ran over to her jeans. Searching through the pockets, she noticed a string of missed messages; they were all from Mrs. Cake. She read the text out loud to herself, “Fluttershy, are you alright? It was hectic getting home and I was just checking to make sure you and little Scooty got home safe. Call me as soon as you read this.” Fluttershy blinked her eyes a few times; hectic weather conditions around this time of the year meant one thing. She walked over to her dresser, pulling out a pair of fuzzy white booty socks. Her curiosity got to her as she inched her way towards her bedroom window. Looking outwards at the forest, she saw nothing but an array of beautifully snow caked trees and an enormous field of snow covered grassy plains. Her mind alighted to the idea of making a nice fire place downstairs or maybe taking Scootaloo out for a bit to play in the snow. Very well, she could even just take her daughter to the window to look at the same beautiful icy landscape she got the opportunity to witness so often. That aside, it’d be best if she talked to Mrs.Cake a little first.
