Chapter 2: The First Night is Tartarus
Twilight and her friends recover from the shock. They breathe in and out, looking scared. They couldn't saw what they themselves thought they saw...did they?
"Okay, so the robots can move." Spike said with a slow nod, trying to recover. "Then again, the Phone Guy did say that they used to move in the daytime, right?"
"I don't understand. From the way those guys are looking at us...it's like they hate us already." Fluttershy said, shivering a bit. "I don't understand as to why."
"Maybe they're curious!" Rarity exclaims nervously. "After all, this is the first time of us being here. They probably don't know us yet."
"Right, yeah." Twilight said as she picks up the laptop. Luckily it didn't break. The mare begins looking at the image of the stage...when... "Wait, where's Bonnie?"
The others look at the camera. Freddy and Chica are still on stage...but there's no trace of Bonnie! Twilight nervously goes through the cameras...finding Bonnie in Dining Room. The mare yelps at this. How did that bunny get there so fast?
"Well, so far, Bonnie isn't causing trouble." Applejack commented. She notes the tense look on Twilight's face, "Twilight; Yew okay?"
Twilight gulps as another memory of her past ends up in her mind....

"What happened?" Night Light asks Cadance and Shining in alarm. The parents were alarmed when the two brought in a crying and scared Twilight home. The filly jumps out of Cadance's holds and didn't waste time in going upstairs.
"We don't know, dad!" Shining exclaims to his father in concern. "We were at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza..."
"Oh, that place." Twilight Velvet said with an annoyed sigh. "That place is a fun place for foals and grown up ponies...but the way that the robots interact with the folks? And how they don't get along with the adults for some reason? Its kinda creep me out."
"Anyway, me and Cadance were talking, eating, when Twilight came up, crying! I don't know what happened. She wouldn't tell us what happened!"
"I'm sorry for what happened, sir." Cadance said, feeling guilty. She was supposed to foal sat Twilight, keep an eye on her. But instead, the Alicorn let her attention turned to Shining for one moment and something horrible happened. "I'll understand if you would fire me."
"It's okay, Cadance. It isn't your fault." Night Light said with a sigh as he sat down in the chair. "I got a feeling that we may not go back to Freddy's again."
"Concerning how that place freaks me out, I'll understand." Twilight Velvet said as she heads up the stairs. "I will go check on Twilight."
Twilight Velvet opens the door to Twilight's room, peek in. There's her daughter, under the covers while looking to the opposite wall of the room. If she knew that her mother was there, the mare sure didn't acknowledge."
"Twilight, honey; you want to speak about what happened?" Twilight Velvet asks her daughter in worry.
"No, mommy...please...don't make me go back there." Twilight said trembling. The mother sighs a bit.
"Look, if you don't want to talk about it, it's okay. When you want to speak of it...feel free to do so. Your father, Shining and I...we care and love you as a family does."
Twilight Velvet thus took her leave, knowing that her daughter would need time to recover. Twilight however believes that she never would...the filly would never forget what that Freddy mascot...a golden suit...has done...

"Twilight? Twilight," Spike exclaims, shaking Twilight awake.
"What? Huh?" Twilight ask, startled a bit.
"Something's happening. Bonnie isn't in the Dining Room anymore!"
Sure enough, Twilight checks the image and saw that Bonnie is missing. The mare quickly change the image to the West Hall...and the gang saw Bonnie rushing down it before disappearing. In worry, Rarity turns to the panel facing the door to the West Hall and press the light switch.
"GRRRRRR," Bonnie roars from outside. The ponies screams in fright as the bunny stood outside, glaring into the room.
"Oh, calm down, ponies. It’s just a cute big bunny." Fluttershy said, trying to calm her friends down. She flew over and spoke gently, "Hey, Bonnie. My name is Fluttershy. Do..."
Suddenly Bonnie screeches as he swipes at Fluttershy, trying to grab her. The Pegasus pony screams and jumps back. Rainbow quickly flew over to the panel and presses the door button, closing the door in the robotic bunny's face. Bonnie is outside, pounding on the door in frustration.
"That is one...nasty bunny." Fluttershy said with a shudder.
"Let me in, let me in!" Bonnie's voice roars from outside.
"Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin!" Pinkie calls out to Bonnie playfully. The others look at her oddly. "What?"
Twilight nervously uses her magic to press the light switch. Bonnie is outside, his shadow is seen on the wall due to the lights. The Alicorn quickly checks the cameras for the Stage. Freddy is still there and...wait...where's Chica?
"Um, Dashie; Are yellow ducks or birdies supposed to be scary?" Pinkie Pie tapped Rainbow's shoulder in noticing something in front of them.
"No, they're ducks. Usually folks call someone a yellow belly coward." Rainbow Dash responded to say while working on her eyes to her laptop, watching the cameras in looking for anything unusual.
"Then would a coward be right over there? Looking like he's gonna get us?" Pinkie Pie pointed out this fact.
Then as Rainbow Dash looks away from her laptop in watching the cameras, she got a surprise. There was Chica the Chicken as it was in front of them when their eyes were not watching so carefully in the room to keep in from coming in.
Then it made a loud screech noise as it launches to attack them.
"Aaaaahhhh," The ponies screamed in terror in ducking and running for their lives.
They ran towards the other door, but they found out that they were blocked off, because it was still closed.
"Eeep! We're trapped!" Fluttershy exclaimed frantically. Worst yet, Chica is getting closer.
Chica screeched as she yelled, "We want...the...princess!!!"
"What do you want with me?!" Twilight demanded in fear.
Before Chica could finish, Pinkie quickly threw a trash can onto the head, making Chica yelp. She stumbled around, trying to see.
"Where are the lights?! Why can't I see," Chica demanded. As she tried to get the trash can off, the robotic chicken unknowingly left the security room.
Pinkie didn't waste time in rushing to the panel for the right door and press the door button, closing it. The ponies and Dragon sighed in relief. That was a close one!
"Okay, forgot what I said about chickens." Rainbow exclaimed, feeling her heart to make sure that it's still there.
Twilight press the light switch, glancing through the window. She spoke, "Bonnie's gone now."
Twilight pressed the door switch to reopen the left door. Applejack pressed the right light switch. Chica, who managed to get the trash can off, glared at her through the window.
"Go on! Shoo! Yew're scaring us, ponies!" Applejack scowled, trying to wave Chica away.
"We... want... the princess!" Chica growled from the window.
"You gotta come in and get her yourself! Naaaah!" Rainbow exclaimed then stuck her tongue out at Chica.
Chica growled and charged at the window, slamming into it. Rainbow yelped and jumped back in fear.
"Yikes! Okay, bad idea, very bad," Rainbow exclaimed nervously. All she did was provoke Chica.
Twilight looked worried and scared. This wasn't right. Why were the robots after her? She didn't do anything to them! The only time Twilight even came close to interaction was with that Freddy mascot gold suit; and even then...

"Mommy; Daddy?" Twilight asked cutely to her parents. The family is sitting at a table at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, two weeks before the incident that scarred Twilight for life.
"Yes, Twiley," Night Light asked her daughter with a smile.
"How are those robots able to talk and sing like that?" Twilight asked as she pointed a hoof at the house band. Freddy and his pals were singing to the foals who cheered them on.
Night Light chuckled a bit, "Well, they are recorded tracks in them ahead of time. And they are programmed to respond well to the foals."
"Not to the adult ponies." Twilight Velvet said, shivering at the memory. "It's the same problem that happened at the original location."
"But why," Twilight asked her mother. Why were the robots having trouble getting along with the adults?
"We don't know, Twiley. The old robots there give the original folks there a problem various times." Night Light explained to Twilight with a sigh. "And so, after Freddy Fazbear's Pizza opened up, they replaced the old ones with new friendly ones...though that Puppet thing gives me the creeps!"
Twilight looked puzzled. 'Puppet'; Does her father meant that weird thing at Prize Corner?
"Hiya, little filly," A version of Bonnie known as Toy Bonnie said to Twilight, "Filly; Filly...."

"Hey, Twilight!" Pinkie shouted loudly that Twilight almost fell out of her seat.
"Gah; What," Twilight asked Pinkie frantically and alarm.
"You were having one flashback. Anyway, the chicken's gone." Pinkie explains to Twilight with a grin.
"Oh, thank Celestia." Twilight sighed in relief.
"Oooooh; want to get back into her forearms, eh, Twilight," Rainbow asked devilishly, arching her eyebrows at that.
"Shut up." Twilight said, blushing.

Hours had passed as the ponies kept working on keeping an eye on the cameras as well as the doors. Bonnie and/or Chica would visit and try to get in, but they would close the doors to keep the two out.
Often, Chica would visit the Kitchen, though whatever she does in there, no pony knows. The camera in there was still broken.
As they looked at the camera, they noticed a pink pony (....................Okay, you all get who it is) in the Dining Room as she was trotting, humming a tune. Some were worried about her as Bonnie and Chica were back there now.
"I might be not mostly scared, but I am not THAT CRAZY." Rainbow said in concern. What is that pony doing out there? And how the hay did she got in here???
"She's going to be slaughtered." Rarity said in agreement. Someone has to go out there and fetch her!
They braced for the screams to happen, but nothing. Twilight looked, noticing that some of the robots were gone on the stage, but the pony was still there. It looked to be a shocking sight; she's playing patty cake with Freddy, much to their shock. They heard her voice as they patty caked, but bits of static made it hard to hear some of it.
"I know you want to harm Twilight, but please, it's not her fault." The pink creature said to Freddy playfully.
"You're only lucky; if you were not so nice to us, we would have stuffed you into a suit by now." Freddy said to the pink flat-mane pony with a grunt.
She giggled, "Awww, that's cute, but you know I am not a normal little pony, you know that." Pinkamena gave a dark grin and said, "And also what you did to my big brother, you're lucky I do not make metal-flavored cupcakes, and I will."
Freddy rolled his eyes and says, "How was I to know that the brown Alicorn was your brother?"
"Well, how was I to know you and your friends are killers?" The pink flat-maned pony asked Freddy with a question right back.
Freddy paused then added, "Touché, little filly, but Twilight will die for what she's done."
"Don't count on it." The new pony commented. They stopped and she got up and trotted off. "Thank you for the time, Freddy, hope to play hide and seek next time."
"I will be busy, but fine, but it better not be too long." Freddy assured the pink new pony.
"You know it is never long Freddy." She giggled creepily as she climbed into a vent. As she was gone, Freddy shuddered momentarily then recovered.
"That little filly is more messed up than us, minus the killing and such." Freddy remarked.
"I don't know what's going on out there, and I would rather not know." Fluttershy said, trembling.
Twilight nodded a bit. That new pink pony was a lucky one! The mare checked the cameras and found Bonnie in the Broom Closet.
"Bonnie's in the closet," Twilight explained to her friends.
"Oh, so he got a gay side to hide, huh, Twilight?" Spike asked Twilight with a mischievous smile.
"That isn't what I meant, Spike!" Twilight groaned, slapping herself on the forehead.
"Well, when you said 'in the closet', that's pretty ironic." Spike said with a chuckle.
"Uh, everyone," Pinkie asked worriedly as she noticed something.
"Rainbow, what time is it?" Twilight ask, ignoring what Pinkie's saying.
"5 AM." Rainbow said, checking on the clock nearby which read '5 AM', "Or somewhere after that."
"Good! Almost there!" Twilight said in hope.
"Girls," Pinkie asked nervously, trying to get her friends' attention.
"Well, you would've thought that this place could use some redesigning." Rarity remarked, groaning a bit. "What, with those robots roaming around, the company hiding evidence of ponies' deaths, it's a wonder they stay in business for so long!"
"I'd plumb like 'ta know why those freaks wanna 'ta 'git in...hang on." Applejack said as she checked the light switch for the left door. Bonnie was out there, glaring, "Yew mind, Bonnie? We're plumb havin' a conversion!"
Applejack closed the door, blocking Bonnie off. Pinkie called out, "Girls; Spike?"
"And who was that pink pony?" Rarity asked the others in concern. "Does anypony know? And how did she get in here?"
"I don't know!" Twilight exclaimed, sweating a bit. "Why must I know these things? Don't look at me!"
"Nopony is." Applejack said to Twilight in concern. "Why're yew gitting so tense?"
"I AM NOT GETTING TENSE! I JUST DON'T WANT ANY..." Suddenly, without warning, the lights in the rooms went out before the doors were raised open, much to Twilight's shock. "...questions?"
"Yeah, I wanted to tell you that. The battery has run out." Pinkie explained awkwardly to her friends.
"Oh no! We're doomed" Fluttershy whimpered in fear.
"Great! What's the worst that can happen now?!" Rainbow asks with a groan.
As if being answered, the hard way, a song began to play from the left door. The ponies and Dragon turned to see eyes flashing as the song 'El Toreador' plays.
"Freddy...." Spike said nervously as he backed away.
"Go away, Freddy, go away." Fluttershy whimpered a bit as she backed herself in a corner.
Surprisingly, Freddy didn't go near the other ponies or Spike. He was advancing on Twilight, who was backed into a corner. The Alicorn's blood was frozen in fear. It's like karma! She had escaped someone in a Freddy mascot suit years before…and now, a Freddy bot was out to get her!
"What do you want?!" Twilight demanded as she found herself in a corner. The mare fired a magic blast and hit Freddy. But it didn't faze him. "What did I do to you?! I swear...whatever happened in the Backstage years ago...please leave me alone..."
Freddy growled, appearing to screech...Twilight was about to scream. This was it...
Suddenly, a bell ring came from out of nowhere, followed by foals cheering. The lights were turned on as Freddy stopped his attack to look at the clock. It was now 6 AM. Twilight had made it!
Freddy paused, glancing at Twilight as if trying to peer into her soul. The Alicorn gulped, wondering what the bear would do...
Then Freddy turned around and left the room. Twilight breathed in and out, then collapsed onto the floor.
"Twilight," The other girls cried as they rushed over and helped Twilight up. The mare was hyperventilating. What happened there was a near-death experience. It's as if her whole life flashed before her eyes.
"It's okay, sugar cube, it's okay." Applejack said to Twilight calmly.
"You're safe, the mean bear's gone." Fluttershy said to Twilight with a nod.
Twilight looked at Fluttershy as she spoke in a traumatized manner, "Fluttershy...if only you knew...what I just been through..."

It was 7 AM as Starker came to work. He opens the doors and came inside. Upon arrival, the unicorn notices the Mane Six and Spike at a table, waiting for him apparently.
"Ah, morning, princess; and friends," Starker exclaims as he trots on over to the seven. "Did you had a good night?"
"Oh, well, it was a good night, yeah." Applejack said to Starker, giving an awkward look to Starker. "Except fer one thing..."
"Yeah?"
"WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU TELL US THAT THOSE DAMN ROBOTS CAN MOVE?!" Rainbow yells out furiously, flying over and got into Starker's face, making him yelp while backing off, "Oh yeah. And also why didn't you tell us that those guys would try to kill us?!"
"What's going on, Starker?" Twilight demands angrily to Starker as she got up then trots over to him. "They weren't this vicious and bloodthirsty when I was here years ago as a filly!"
"Look...I wanted to tell you, really, but I feared you may close us down sooner if I told you the truth." Starker said to Twilight with a sigh.
"After tonight, I feel like not giving approval at all. I mean, how long has this been going on?!"
"Since before, during and after your last visit; Years ago, there used to be a place called "Fredbear's Family Diner", which was a family restaurant before it was closed down for years. The place was brought and renamed "Freddy Fazbear's Pizza" where we got the old robots. We tried using new animatronics for a while...didn't work out well, so we got rid of them. Then things got even terrible."
"Like the Incident Bite?" Rarity ask Starker angrily, startling him. "The Phone Guy, at least Pinkie named him, told us about it."
"It's the reason why Foxy was decommissioned, was it?" Rainbow demanded, glaring at the curtain closing off Pirate's Cover. "Did he bite someone?"
Starker hesitates, getting scared. He finally sighs while admitting, "Yes. Foxy did bit someone. Of course, I wasn't here when it happened...the guard who once worked night shift, he was. We don't know who the victim was. According to newspapers, Foxy bit a foal's frontal lobe, though some claims that it was the guard itself who was working the day shift or somepony else. Hay, I don't know. I never saw the former day shift guard again. After that, when we reopened sometime later, the place got a low budget because no company would come near us, Foxy was decommissioned, and the robots aren't allowed to move around in the daytime anymore. And as you saw from your experience...we had trouble keeping night guards for more than a few nights since then."
Twilight groans a bit, shaking her head. This has been going on ever since Fredbear's Family Diner has closed down? Why didn't the management do a thing about it earlier? And if the robots had been having major glitches, mistaking ponies or whatever as robots without suits, why are they after her?
Twilight looks at Freddy and his pals still on stage. The Alicorn sweats as they appear to be looking into her soul...judging her for something that happened in the Backstage years ago. The poor mare could sworn that she can hear foals screaming their last...screaming from inside the suits...taunting and giving out abusive words at her: 'murderer', 'monster', 'evil witch', etc. Twilight is twitching like mad as...
"Twilight," Spike exclaims, startling Twilight who turns around to face the others, "Twilight, why do you keep zoning out like that?"
"Nothing, nothing," Twilight said nervously. She turns to Starker, saying, "Well, Starker. After tonight, looks like I may not have to spend another night for my decision."
"Yeah, I understand that." Starker said with a sigh, trotting over and looking up to the robots. "I sure hate for these guys to..."
"No. I said 'may'. We are spending another night here."
"What," The Mane Five and Spike yelps in shock with Starker looking at her in surprise.
"You kidding, right," Rainbow yells out to Twilight in disbelief. "Those jerk ass robots almost kill us! And now, you wanna spend another night here?!"
"We only spend 1 night so far, Rainbow." Twilight explains to Rainbow. She glances to Starker while adding, "I will explain outside."
"Well, I'm surprised that you want to come back. Though, I won't blame ya if you change your mind." Starker said to Twilight in amazement and surprise that the princess decided to come back after 1 horrible night.
"Trust me, Starker; I had faced worse than robots."
"Oh, very well. Oh; and here's a little gift from me to you for your first night."
Starker uses his magic to float over a doll, giving it to Twilight. The mare blinks as she saw that it's of Bonnie the Bunny. The thing is cuter than the robot that tried to get at her last night.
The Mane Six and Spike heads out of Freddy's, with plans on coming back tomorrow. Rarity clears her throat, as she spoke, "Princess...with all due respect...HAVE YOU GONE CRAZY?!"
"Yeah, why would you want to come back here?" Pinkie asks Twilight in surprise.
"Girls, listen. Those robots are determined to come get me for some reason. So if we don't come back, you know what they would do?" Twilight ask her friends seriously. They pause and shake their heads 'no'. "They would try to escape and come after me! I don't want to feel responsible for any ponies or anything else being hurt or killed just to get me. No, there's something else going on here besides robots' mistakes that stuffed anyone into suits and it's time we find out what it is."
The Mane Five and Spike looks stunned. Twilight is crazy to wanting to come back after almost getting killed...but she's right. Those robots would wanna break out just to get at her...and there's something else going on at the restaurant. The mystery continues!
