Ride 004:Aichi vs Twilight, Battle Of The Horses

Inside the Golden Oaks Library...

While Aichi and Twilight prepared for their cardfight, The other three stallions waited patiently for the game to start, while Pinkie stood with them, excited for the action.

"Twilight, can I ask you something before we start?" Aichi asked Twilight.

“sure, Aichi, what do you want to ask?”

“well… you don’t have any cards…”

"Well, since I'm a unicorn I have magical ability. So I was going to use a simple duplication spell on one of your guys deck for my own" answered Twilight trying not to show off.

"Whoa that is really cool, I wish I could have magic like that" said Ren in amazed tone.

"Oh, it's nothing" said Twilight blushing, "so will it be okay if I copy your deck?"

"Sure why not, it might make things easier to explain if we have the same deck" answered Aichi in a confident voice.

"Okay all I need you to do is put your deck down and then everything set" Twilight said.

The stallion then put his deck on the floor and awaited it's safe return, as he had a slight look of fear on his face. The lavender unicorn then pointed her horn at the deck and then concentrating on her magic and blocking everything else out. The tip of her horn then began to glow a pink color and then so did the deck. And in a bright flash two deck stood right next to each other.

"Huh it actually worked" commented Kai.

"Wow, that was really cool Twilight" congratulated Aichi.

"Oh, it was nothing really" said Twilight blushing once again, "so we can start now that's done."

"Yes" answered Aichi looking at how the unicorn was prepared to play the game right now on the floor, "Ah, Twilight you wouldn't mind if we play on a table would you."

"Ah, sure, but I don't see why we can't play on the floor" questioned Twilight.

"It will help the game, trust me" Aichi said answering the mares confusing.

"Okay" said Twilight with a slur.

The group moved to table in the upper level of the library. The two ponies stood on each side of the table looking at each other, with the others standing around it. "Okay Twilight I will now explain some of the basic rules of Vanguard" Aichi preparing for a long talk.

"Okay" replied Twilight.

"First I will explain the field" began Aichi, "let's start with the deck zone, like the name applies this is where we place are decks." As Aichi said he put his deck into specific spot on the right side of the table, with Twilight doing the same after.

"Next we have the damage zone and the drop zone. The damage zone will come into play later, it's on your left side" he said. "The drop is right behind your deck" he indicated the spot behind his deck, "this is where defeated units go."

"What do you mean 'defeated units'?" Twilight asked not getting the term.

"You'll see once the game starts" answer Aichi with a smile.

"Okay now between damage zone and the deck and drop zone we have two rows of three circles, this is where we place are cards that we play. The most important circle is your Vanguard circle" said Aichi pointing at the front middle circle, "the Vanguard circle represents you in the game."

"Okay" said Twilight, confirming she understood the concept.

"Now then to begin the game select one of your cards with a number 0 in top left corner and place it face down on your Vanguard Circle" said Aichi doing the process himself, "then shuffle your deck."

"Like this" said Twilight following the exact same process of the stallion.

"Yes, now draw the top five cards off the top of your deck, and put them into your… hoof? I guess" Aichi said a smile, and then showing the process.

"Oh, okay" she said picking up the top five cards with her magic.

"If you don't like your starting cards, you can place the ones you don't like back in your deck, shuffle and then redraw the same amount of cards you put back into deck into your hand. It's important to have a good balance of cards with the numbers 1, 2, and 3 in their top left corner, or their grade" said Aichi checking his hand to make sure it is good. "I'm good, how about you?" Aichi asked.

"It looks good, so now can we start the game?" Twilight asked.

"No, one little extra important step" said Aichi closing his eye, along with the three other stallion.

"And that is" said Twilight.

"Picture it" answer Aichi.

"Ah, what"said Twilight confused.

"A big part of Vanguard is imagination, it determines everything. To your form, to how you move, to how you attack" said Aichi.

"Oh, so what are we suppose to imagine?" Twilight asked now curious.

"We are on planet called Cray, it's plant very similar to the one were" said Aichi.

"Oh does this place have lot's of ponies two" interrupted Pinkie getting a death glare from Kai, "what I want to know."

"It has lot's of cool creature Pinkie, I would not be surprised if there were ponies on Cray" answered Aichi, "now then imagine you're there as astral body."

Then both Twilight and Aichi were now on cray as spirits. The land was very rocky, with small patches of grass in some places. The sky was a clear blue with just the right amount of clouds in the air to create sad. Bird like creature flew through the air, with only the sound of their chirps being heard. The unicorn was amazed at what she saw, "this is Cray, it's so beautiful."

"A lot of people have the same reaction you have when they first see Cray" said Aichi, letting the wind blow through his mane. "We have just land on Cray, while where we have two abilities. We can have a creature of this planet fight for use, that is called a call. The second is to actually take control of one creatures and become it, this is call a ride."

"So now what?" Twilight asked.

"We say Stand Up, Vanguard at the same time, then we flip over the card in are Vanguard circle thus starting the game" answered Aichi.

"Okay, I get it" said Twilight.

With determined looks in their eyes, they began "Stand Up!" they began preparing to turn over their respective Vanguards, "Vanguard!" flipping over their respective units.

"Advance Party Seeker, File" Aichi was appearance changed, he was now wearing armor over his that was white with a hole in the middle. His undershirt turn light gray and he he wore white belt around his waist. To complete the look, he gained a blue cape, and two long javelins were now in his hooves.

Advance Party Seeker, File:5000 Power

"Lozenge Magus" As Twilight said that she was engulfed in a bright light. She was now wear piece of fabric around her chest that had connected two pieces of pink arm armor that was outlined in white. Her hooves now had silver armor around them, and she now had a purple long skirt going down from her waist, that had the same kind of armor as her arms. There was a giant flower looking pieces in her mane and she was now carrier a long white staff.

Lozenga Magus:5000 Power

"Oracle Think Tank, I thought you copied my deck?" Aichi asked in confusing.

"I guess something went wrong" said Twilight with a smile.

"I guess so, you wouldn't mind letting me go first it will be easier to explain the game if I go first?" Aichi asked.

"Sure, go ahead" said Twilight.

"Okay at the beginning of of your turn you draw one card like so" Aichi said drawing one card. "Next if you have a grade 1 card in your hand you can ride on top of your Vanguard, I ride! Little Sage, Marron". Aichi was then transformed into a stallion with a blue and white robe, he had strange top hat on, and a red floated in front of him.

"Get this if I rode a Royal Paladin unit over Advance Party Seeker, File I now get put him into the rear guard" as Aichi said his previous then appeared right behind it, it was the same only was a light brown color and had a blond mane.

"I can't attack on my first turn so my turn is over, your turn Twilight" the stallion said with a smile.

"Okay here I go, draw" Twilight said adding one card to her hand, "let's see, I ride! Ripis Magus" Twilight was now wearing a white leotard and here body was now covered by lot's of small crescent moons cover her body. Her mane now had to long pieces sticking out the back and now had a smaller staff, but had a wider fan like top.

"And with Lozenga Magus skill, I move her to the rear guard" Twilight said as she moved the card to the back row, Lozenga Magus then appeared next to Twilight. "Like this right?" She asked.

"Yes, you seem to know what you're doing Twilight" compliment Aichi.

"Thanks" said Twilight.

"Now then Twilight it's the battle phase now, during this phase you can attack your opponent Vanguard or front row units. You attack by turn your card sideways into the rest position" instructed Aichi.

"Okay, I attack your Vanguard with Ripis Magus" said Twilight.

"Now you may perform a drive check" said Aichi.

"A drive what now?" Twilight asked.

"A drive check happens when ever your Vanguard attacks, you get to reveal the top card of your deck and add it to your hand" explained Aichi.

"Oh, so like this" said Twilight reveal the top card of her deck and adding it to her hand.

"Yep, that's how you do it" complimented Aichi.

Ripis than swiped her staff causing a blast of wind of to strike Marron. Marron was then pushed back a little feeling the pain of the attack. "Now I get to perform a damage check, it's a lot like a drive check only instead of putting the card in your hand, you put it your damage zone" said Aichi revealing the top card of his deck and putting into the damage zone, "first person to 6 damage wins"

"Sounds simple enough" assumed Twilight.

"Trust me, it's easier said than done" said Aichi thinking about his past.

"Okay I end my turn" Twilight said passing the turn to Aichi.

"I stand and draw" said Aichi turning his to the standing positions and drawing one card. "I ride! Great Crossbow Seeker, Gildas" Aichi transformed again this time into a silver pony knight with a energy crossbow. He had silver armor on his legs and chest. He had four quiver connected to a belt he was wearing around his waist and one more with on his back full of arrows.

"You're not alone on the battlefield Twilight, you can call unit's from your equal or less to the grade of your Vanguard to help you in battle, this is a call" Aichi explained. "Now I call! Full Bloom Seeker, Cerdic" another silver armor pony appeared next to Gildas. He was white and hand blond mane, he was armored from neck to tail. He wield a energy sword in his right hoof and his front left leg had a giant red shield on it.

"Huh, I was expecting him to ride Blaster Blade this turn" said Ren with a sigh of depression.

"What's a Blaster Blade?" Pinkie asked.

"Oh, you will see soon enough" Ren said knowing Aichi plan.

"Grade 0's and grade 1's can give their power to the unit in front of them" said Aichi, now then with a boost from Advance Party Seeker, File, Full Bloom Seeker, Cerdic attacks your Vanguard. Now Cerdic skill activates, since my Vanguard has Seeker in it's name, Cerdic get's plus 3000 power during the battle phase."

"Now Twilight, do you have cards that you can guard with?" Aichi asked.

"What do you mean by guard?" Twilight responded.

"All unit's can guard except grade 3's. You guard by putting one or more unit's into the guardian circle which is between us. The strength of your guard depends one the total shield in the guardian circle and that shield is represent on the unit" explained Aichi.

"How do I know what a units shield is?" Twilight asked.

"A unit's shield is represent on left side of the card" Aichi answered showing the spot on one of his cards.

"Oh, I get it" replied Twilight now looking through her hand and thinking of a good plan, "I don't guard"

"Wait why wouldn't she guard the attack, she has enough cards in her hand?" Pinkie questioned.

"Because, she's saving them for the Vanguards attack" answered Kai, 'maybe this match will be worth watching.'

"Oh, okay" said Pinkie.

"Whoa, that was a good play Twilight, most first time players would have just guard that attack" Aichi complimented.

"Thanks, I'am a quick learner so it wasn't two hard" said Twilight.

"Okay, now it's time for my Vanguard attack" declared Aichi.

"I guard with Oracle Guardian, Gemini" said Twilight putting the card in the middle of the table.

Crossbow Seeker, Gildas:Power 9000

Ripis Magus(Oracle Guardian, Gemini): Power 12000

"That's a nice guard you put up Twilight, but I still have the drive check."

Aichi reveals the top card of his deck, "I got it, Critical Trigger"

"What's a trigger?" asked Twilight.

"A trigger is a special card that increase your units power and give you special bonus" answered Aichi, "their are four types of triggers. The one I drew is a Critical Trigger it gives one of my units a extra critical dealing you two damage. But their is also Draw Triggers, that adds one card to hoof, Stand Triggers, that let's you stand one of your rear guards, and finally Heal Triggers, that heals one damage."

"Okay neat, but your attack is still not getting through" said Twilight with a smirk.

"We'll all triggers add 5000 plus power to one unit" Aichi said with a smile and a laugh.

"Oh, so that means" began Twilight.

"I give all effects to my Vanguard, Gildas Holy Arrow" screamed Aichi.

Great Crossbow Seeker, Gildas(Critical Trigger): 14000 Power, 2 Criticals

Ripis Magus(Oracle Guardian, Gemini): 12000 Power

Gildas loaded his crossbow and prepared to fire, his arrow began to glow a bright yellow. He shoot his arrow piercing through Gemini and hit Ripis dead on. Ripis got up breathing heavily.

"So I damage check now" said Twilight with Aichi nodding his head, "first check, second check" she put the two cards in her damage zone.

"Your turn Twilight" said Aichi.

"Okay, I stand and draw" said Twilight following the process. "I ride! Oracle Agent, Royce" Twilight then grew taller to the same height of Gildas, she wore a black business suit, white undershirt, glass, and yellowish tie. She now had brief case next to her and chain with diamond at the end floating around her.

"I call Circle Magus, Cuore Magus, along with Oracle Guardian, Gemini" two dolls model after cupid and two white ponies in long clothes appeared beside Twilight, one having a white dress with green accents and the other having a white dress with pink accents. Each had a staff they could use to defend them self with.

"Circle Magus skill activates, since my Vanguard is a Oracle Think Tank unit, I look at the top card of my deck" it is revealed to be a draw trigger, Twilight puts the card back on her deck.

'Looks like it's a draw trigger, her play style reminds me a lot of Misaki' thought Aichi, remembering his pink hair female friend back home.

"Now with a boast from Lozenga, Oracle Guardian, Gemini attacks your Vanguard" Twilight said turning the cards sideways, "and with Lozenga skill, Gemini get's another 3000 power."

Crossbow Seeker, Gildas:9000 Power

"No guard" declared Aichi, "damage check."

As Aichi put the top card of his deck into his damage zone, the angel dolls faces opened up to reveal highly advance technology underneath. They shot laser beams out of their eyes at at Gildas damaging him even more.

"Now for my second attack, with a boost from Circle Magus, Cuore Magus attacks your Vanguard" stated Twilight turning the cards sideways.

"No guard" Aichi said, "damage check".

Crossbow Seeker, Gildas:9000 Power

Like before Aichi flipped over the top card of his deck, "Draw Trigger, power to Gildas and I draw one card" Aichi Drew one card putting the trigger into the damage zone. Gildas was then hit a blast of magic, knocking him back.

Crossbow Seeker, Gildas(Draw Trigger):14000 Power

"Okay, now my Vanguard attacks" Twilight turned the card.

"I guard with Good Faith Seeker, Cynric" Aichi said slamming the card on to the table, another white crossbow pony appeared in front of Gildas, ready to take the hit.

"Drive check" Twilight flipped over the top card of her deck, "look a Draw Trigger, power to my Vanguard and I draw one card."

Oracle Agent, Royce(draw trigger):14000 Power

Crossbow Seeker, Gildas(Good Faith Seeker, Cynric, draw trigger): 19000 Power

"Okay, my turns done, since I used Lonzenga skill, I have to shuffle her back into her deck" said Twilight doing so.

"I stand and draw" declared Aichi, "Twilight this is where the really game begins."

Aichi raised one of his cards into the air and then began to chant "he is the light of hope that shines in the depths of despair, I Ride! Light Source Seeker, Alfred Exiv!" Aichi transformed once again, but this time he grew to the size taller than a alicorn. He wore white armor with gold trim over it, he had over sized shoulder pads that looked like triangle. He had longer pieces of same kind of design along his waist and back legs. He had a white helmet the looked like a crown of sorts, and wield a blue broadsword with a white outline that seemed to be keeping him up.

Light Origin Seeker, Alfred XIV:11000 Power

"Was the whole chant thing really needed?" Twilight asked.

"No, but it adds a level of fun to the game" said Aichi smiling.

"I thought that was awesome Aichi" said Pinkie with a overly happy voice.

"Thanks Pinkie" said Aichi, "now I activate Alfred skill, Seeker's Light." Aichi then flipped over two cards in his damage zone and then began to search his deck, "I counter blast two cards, then I superior call one card from my deck with Seeker in it's name." He selected one and put it in his hand, "I superior call Great Crossbow Seeker, Gildas."

Gildas then appeared right next Alfred only he was a white stallion with a blond mane.

"Next I call Seeker, Tranquil Unicorn" A white unicorn appeared behind Gildas. The Unicorn was covered in bronze armor with green jewels embed in the armor.

Seeker, Tranquil Unicorn(back row behind Gildas):5000 power.

"With Tranquil Unicorn skill, I soul blast one card" Aichi takes one card out from underneath his Vanguard and puts it into his drop zone, "I give Alfred plus 5000 power."

Light Source Seeker, Alfred Exiv(soul blast):16000 Power

"Wait, counter blast, soul blast what kind of skills are those?" Twilight asked.

"Counter blasts and soul blasts are skills that require you to do specific things first" answered Aichi, "a counter blast requires you to flip over your damage and soul blast requires you to take cards from underneath your current vanguard and put them into your drop zone."

"Oh, I get it" replied Twilight.

"Okay, now with a boost from Tranquil Unicorn, Great Crossbow Seeker, Gildas attacks Cuore Magus, go holy arrow" declared Aichi.

"No guard" Twilight stated, 'I'm sorry Cuore.'

Gildas shoot his arrow at Cuore, turning the pony into stardust.

"Next's Alfred attacks your Vanguard" the giant armored stallion jumped up into the air preparing for a downward strike.

"I guard with Miracle Kid and Stellar Magus" a rat in fancy dress clothes and a light orange mare in a yellow dress appeared in front of Royce.

Oracle Agent, Royce(Miracle Kid, Stellar Magus):19000 Power

"Twin drive" declared Aichi.

"Twin drive, don't you mean drive check?" Twilight asked.

"No, a twin drive is a special skill that all grade 3's have, it allow you to drive check twice in a row" explained Aichi.

"What, that's insane" exclaimed Twilight.

"Okay twin drive first check" no trigger, "second check, I got a critical trigger all effects to my Vanguard" Alfred came falling down charging at Royce, breaking slashing through her guards and hitting Royce.

"Damage check, first check" Twilight put the card in her drop zone, "second check, Heal Trigger, I recover one damage" she took one card from her damage zone and put it into her drop zone.

"Don't celebrate yet Twilight" said Aichi with a cocky smirk, "with a boost from Advance Party Seeker, File, Cerdic attacks your Vanguard, Cerdic skill activates again, plus 3000 power."

"No guard" said Twilight knowing she can't guard with the cards in his hands.

Oracle Agent, Royce(heal trigger):14000

The pony slashed at Royce, knocking him back in great pain. "Damage check" Twilight said putting the card in her damage zone.

"Turn end, your up Twilight" said Aichi.

"Okay, I stand and draw" Twilight said following the process, "good fortune will descend upon us--- I see it, fortune stream! I ride! Hexagonal Magus" Twilight grew to the size of a alicorn, she gained a long dark blue dress, and her mane grew twice as long as before in both direction. "You're right that was kind of fun."

"I call Ripis Magus, and another Gemini" Ripis appeared right beside Twilight and Gemini appeared behind her ready to give support.

Oracle Guardian, Gemini(back row, behind Hexagonal Magus)

"Now with a boost from Circle Magus, Ripis Magus attacks your Vanguard, with Ripis skill she get's plus 3000" said Twilight turning the cards sideways.

"No guard" declared Aichi.

Alfred was hit by a empowered blast of wind knock him back a little. "Damage check" Aichi said putting the top card of his deck into the damage zone.

"Now with a boost from Gemini, my Vanguard attacks Alfred" stated Twilight turning the cards

Hexagonal Magus(Oracle Guardian, Gemini):19000 Power

Light Source Seeker, Alfred Exiv:11000 Power

"Perfect Guard" said Aichi flashing the card in front of Twilight.

"Okay, mind telling what a Perfect Guard is?" Twilight asked, made about not knowing another thing about the game.

"A Perfect Guard blocks all damage if you discard one card from your hand" said Aichi doing so.

"What, so my attack isn't going to hit" Twilight exclaimed.

"Yep, but you can still drive check" Aichi said.

"Gah, Twin Drive, first check, Draw Trigger, power to my other Gemini and I draw one card, second check" nothing, Twilight drew one card.

Hexagonal charged up a blast of magic with her horn and then shoot it a at Alfred. At the nick of time, another pony in blue cloaks with a book in front of him appeared making a blue energy shield in front of him and Alfred. The attack hit and Alfred was unphased.

"Gemini attacks your Vanguard" Twilight said.

"No guard" Aichi said taking the hit.

"Damage check" Aichi put the card into his damage zone. Gemini face opened up again a fired it's eye's laser at Alfred. The stallion took it, now starting to feel pain.

"One more damage and I win" said Twilight, "I guess I'm better than I thought."

"Yay, Twilight going to win" exclaimed Pinkie with energy.

"Not yet, we still have are friends Aichi turn" said Ren.

"I but the damage and Aichi hoof size, how can he win?" Pinkie asked.

"Aichi still has one more thing up his sleeve" said Kai, knowing what's next.

"I stand and draw" Aichi said doing so.

Meanwhile downstairs...

A cyan pegasus with a rainbow mane knocked open the library's door. She had a book in one of her legs. "Hey, Twilight I just finished my current Daring Doo book, is the new one here yet?" she asked.

"Huh, she not here I wonder where she is?" the mare asked herself scratching her head.

"Wait I hear something" the mare focus her attention upstairs, 'what's going on up their?'

"Twilight, I value friendship a lot, my deck is built around that concept" said Aichi staring at his field

"Oh, I value my friends a lot as well" replied Twilight, "how does this related to the game though?"

"Even in this game, my friends will help, no matter how far apart we may be, SEEK MATE!" Aichi put one hoof in front of him and a blue ring appear underneath his Vanguard. Then four cards from his drop zone went to the top of his deck, then silver lining appear on of his cards at a time until one shot out his hoof.

"What the hay is this" the cyan mare said after getting upstairs looking at the cardfight.

Aichi raised the card into the air a began to chant, "even in the darkest time friends will always find a way together. Raise your swords against evil to protect this world, Line Up my avatars!" Aichi slammed the card into his Vanguard circle right next to Alfred forming a complete image, "Blaster Blade! LEGION!" the blue ring glowed brighter and a V symbol appeared above it.

Right next Alfred another giant stallion appeared, he wore white armor and dark blue under suit. The stallion wield a white broadsword, only it hand blue lines down the sword, he was also using it to keep him up. Both Alfred and Blaster Blade looked at each other and nodded their heads.

"Wait, what's a Legion and why are their two cards in your Vanguard circle?" Twilight asked now wanting to know.

"Legion can only happen if we both have grade 3's in are Vanguard circle" answer Aichi, "we put four cards from are drop zone of our choice on top of are decks the call you're the specific card listed and put it right next to your Vanguard in the Vanguard circle."

"Oh, so they fight together now?" Twilight asked.

"You guessed it" said Aichi with a smile.

'I don't know what just happened, but that was kind of cool' the cyan mare thought.

"That was so cool, they're fighting like buddy's now" Pinkie said exploding with happiness.

"Alfred counter blast, Seeker's Light" two cards flipped over in the damage zone then Aichi chose one card from his deck and added it to his hand, "I superior call, Glynngal Seeker" a blue crystal dog appeared behind Alfred and Blaster Blade.

Glynngal Seeker:6000 Power(back row behind Vanguard)

"Now with a boost from Tranquil Unicorn, Gildas attacks your Vanguard" Aichi turned the cards to the rest position.

"I guard with Miracle Kid" Twilight put the card into the guardian circle.

Great Crossbow Seeker, Gildas(Seeker, Tranquil Unicorn):14000 Power

Hexagonal Magus(Miracle Kid):15000 Power

Gildas fired his arrow and Miracle Kid took the shot and then turned into stardust.

"Next's with a boost from File, Cerdic attacks your Vanguard" Aichi turned the cards, "Cerdic skill plus 3000 power."

"Perfect Guard" Twilight put the card into the guardian circle and a golden mare with a green mane wearing green and white dress appeared in front of Twilight.

Twilight discard one card from her hand, Cerdic jump into the air and tried to slash the golden mare, but she put up a green square energy shield stopping the attack.

'Two attacks down, one to go' thought Twilight with sigh of relief.

"Don't relax yet" Aichi said, "friends help friends, they empower each other, they make each other stronger, Legion Skill Activate! Seeker's Of The Round!" "Now with a boost from Glynngal Seeker, legion attack, Sacred Blades Slash" Aichi said as both Blaster Blade and Alfred charge at Hexagonal.

"That was good game Twilight, you did better than most beginner" Aichi said trying to keep Twilight happy.

"That was really fun, I hope we can play again" said Twilight with a smile.

"That was really cool Aichi, you were all like I ride this guy and Twilight was like I ride this guy. Then you were like Legion and Legion skill and that ending was awesome" exclaimed Pinkie getting in Aichi personal space.

"I don't know what that was about, but you can call me somewhat impressed" the cyan pegasus finally spoke up catching everyone by surprise.

"Rainbow Dash, what are you doing here? How long have you been standing their?" Twilight questioned freaking out.

"Long enough to see the last turn of this little game you were playing" Rainbow Dash answered, "Twilight who are theses guys and what were you doing?"

"We could ask the same the same thing" comment Kai.

"Hey, I wasn't asking you" replied Rainbow Dash in anger.

"Calm down Rainbow Dash, these are very special guests" Twilight said trying restrain her friend.

"They don't seem to special to me" said Rainbow Dash.

"Well if you don't call being from another world, and coming her to save this world from ultimate destruction and corruption special" commented Ren.

"Wait what" said Rainbow Dash confused.

"Long story" said Aichi.

"I got some time to spare" replied Rainbow Dash, wanting some answer.

"Here we go" Aichi said preparing to tell the story.

Aichi then told the whole story of how they got here, what their mission is, and Link Joker. The mare now stood their with stern look on her face replying with the only way she could, "you mean to tell the world is going to be consumed by nothingness and darkness and you four have been summoned from an alternate planet to defeat this evil with card games? That is the most absurd thing I have ever heard."

"We're telling you the truth" said Aichi.

"It's true, Princess Ceslatia told me in this letter" Twilight said showing Rainbow Dash the letter.

"Seems pretty far fetched to me" said Rainbow Dash.

"Whether you chose to believe it or not, Link Joker is coming and we have to fight it" replied Kai.

"And what makes you say that, smart guy" said Rainbow Dash.

"I can feel it's presence in this world wind" answered Leon.

"What, that doesn't make sense" said Rainbow, "how can you sense it in the 'wind'?"

"You can say it's my special talent" answered Leon.

"You have to take Leon and Kai word for it" said Ren, "for the most part there are always right."

"Okay, and what makes you sure you can beat this thing with your card game?" Dash asked.

"It was able to defeat it before, so we know we can beat it the same way twice" answered Aichi.

There was a moment of slight silence. Rainbow Dash calmed down and Twilight let go of her. "So you planning on staying a bit, where do you plan on living?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Well Celestia told us that she would arrange live arrangement for use" answer Aichi.

At that moment a small purple dragon with green spikes bursted through the door. "Twilight, I couldn't find the four stallion you told me about, I looked everywhere. Then I got this letter from Princess Celestia, tell me where she wants the four of them to stay. So I rushed here and...ah Twilight who are those four stallions?"

"Spike these are the are the four stallion I sent you to find" said Twilight.

"Huh, theirs talking dragons in this world as well, neat" commented Ren.

Spiked noticed the four stallions, "I'm sorry Twilight, what can I do for you guys?"

"Spike, let me see the letter" said Twilight.

"Oh, right, here you go Twilight" Spike hand over the letter.

"Let's see" Twilight said beginning to read.

Dear Twilight Sparkle,

I'm assuming you are with the four warriors I summoned, so I would like you to inform them that I have found a place for them to stay in Ponyville while on their quest. I will also like you to show them around Ponyville so they can be familiar with the ground.

"Looks like you guy's are staying here in Ponyville with us" Twilight said putting the letter down.

"That's so awesome, I have to get a welcome pony party ready as fast as I can, bye guys" the pink mare then rushed out the door as fast as she could go.

"Ah, what was that?" Ren asked.

"Oh that's just Pinkie begin Pinkie, she likes to throw parties for every new pony that comes here" answered Twilight.

"So you guy's are living here, great" Dash said with sarcasm.

"Come on Rainbow Dash I won't be that bad" said Twilight, "since you are staying here, we never gave you proper introduction, so hi my names Twilight Sparkle."

"Nice to meet you, Twilight" said Aichi with a smile, "my name is Aichi Sendou, but my friends call me Aichi."

"What kind of name is Aichi Sendou?" Rainbow Dash asked laughing, making Aichi blush.

"Were not exactly from here, so expect different kind of names the your" answered Kai in a smug voice.

"Anyway, my name is Ren Suzugamori but people call me Ren, and your name is?" Ren asked.

"Equastria fastest flyer, Rainbow Dash, nice to meet you" said Rainbow Dash.

"Quite the cocky one we have here" said Kai, "my names Toshiki Kai, but call me Kai."

"So Kai's your name, I got my eyes on you" Rainbow Dash said point her hoof back and forth from her eyes to Kai.

"Calm down you two" said Leon keeping the two apart and looking at Twilight, "Leon Soryu of the Soryu."

"Now that that's done, I will help you guys find your house and explain to you guys how things work here" said Twilight, "Spike I'm counting on you to watch the library while I'm gone."

"You can count on me Twilight" said Spike saluting Twilight.

"We can leave now, follow me guys" said Twilight going out the door, "you coming Rainbow Dash?"

"No I came here to checkout a book, then I'm heading out" said Rainbow Dash.

"Okay" replied Twilight, "see you later."

"It was nice to meet you Rainbow Dash" said Aichi following Twilight.

"You two Aichi" replied Rainbow Dash.

Twilight and lend the four stallion out leaving Rainbow Dash and Spike alone. "So Spike I came here to check out the latest Daring Doo book, so do you have it?" Rainbow asked.

"No, currently it is checked out" answered Spike.

"To who?" Dash wondered.

"According to this" Spike reading the piece of paper, "Toshiki Kai."

"That guy" began Rainbow Dash, beginning to scream, "CURSE YOU, TOSHIKI KAI!!!!"

Meanwhile in the streets of Ponyville..,

"Kai I didn't know you like adventure novels" said Aichi.

"They're are a lot of things you don't know about me Aichi" replied Kai.
