Rainbow Lieks Pillows

Rainbow Lieks Pillows

It was the usual day at work. You sat in your sinking computer chair, at your desk office, a picture of your wife and daughter on it. Your eyes were stuck to the Apple desktop computer you used at work each day. When the clock struck 8:00 PM, you were relieved to go home. So you packed up the picture in your briefcase along with some typed papers. You took the last sip of your lukewarm coffee from Dunkin' Donuts and crushed the Styrofoam cup. You got it your navy blue mini van, requested by your wife, and go home. You took out your keys and unlocked the door of your two leveled house.

You flickered the light on. It illuminated the first level of your house; The living room, the kitchen/dining room, and a storage room for your daughter's old toys. You sat on the couch in the living room and undid your leather laces. You slipped your boots off and started to walk upstairs. Your feet were cushioned by the shagged carpet you still had from the 70s.

You flicked the light on and threw your shirt on the floor. As you reached for the blanket of your neatly made bed, you noticed a tiny blue ball laying there.

"Huh?" you said. Your hazel eyes notice the ball has a rainbow mane and tail, tiny fluttering wings, and a cutie mark of a multicolored thunderbolt. "Rainbow Dash?"

Rainbow popped one magenta eye open and gave a giant yawn. She stretched her front and back legs out, and gave her baby wings a few good flaps.

"Oh my gosh. You're Rainbow Dash. How is this possible?" you wondered in amazement. Slowly, your hands moved across the back of her pelt, and she gave a cute, mini "neigh."

"Seriously, this makes no sense.. But it's awesome!" You picked her up and snuggled her against your bare skin.

"Neigh!" she murmured cutely.

"A baby Dashi! How long have you been here? I bet you're hungry." You started to walk with her downstairs to your kitchen, as she made tiny neighs.

"Shh.." you said quietly. "We don't want to wake my wife up. She'll make me get rid of you." You opened the door of your white fridge and found nothing. You opened a cabinet and found a box of Total. You turned to the horse in your hands and said, "do baby ponies eat cereal?"

Rainbow cocked her head at you, as you took a piece of cereal out and handed it to her.

"Try it," you offered.

Rainbow stared at it with intent eyes. She then sniffed it, licked a tiny bit of it, put it into her mouth, and spit it out.

"You don't like it?"

She shook her head. You heard her tummy grumble.

"Let me get my laptop. I'll find out what you guys eat." You walked with her in your hands to the kitchen. You picked the black device with the imprint "Toshiba" on it off the glass coffee table and brought it to the kitchen. As you sat Rainbow Dash on the counter, your hands flipped the lid of the laptop open, and you swiftly typed your password into the device. You opened Google Chrome and quickly searched what ponies eat.

Meanwhile, you didn't notice the filly fly clumsily off the counter and onto the floor.

"Tomatoes, carrots, hay.. Well I have a few carrots and tomatoes, but Dianne would kill me if she found out I used her vegetables. And what would I tell her? I fed them to a magical pony named Rainbow Dash?"

Rainbow bit softly onto the handle of a cabinet and twisted it, forcing it to open.

"Oats, grain, wheat.."

She pulled out the medium sized container of sugar and dropped it loudly on the floor.

You shot around and noticed the mess of white, grainy sugar on the tile floor.

"Rainbow Dash! Are you trying to wake up my wife?!" you hissed quietly, picking the mare back up and placing her on the counter again.

She pointed to the mess on the floor. Hopping off the counter once more, she started to lick the sugar up.

"You like.. Sugar! I forgot ponies like sugar," you said excitedly. "How did you know where my sugar was?"

Rainbow looked at you sweetly, and continued to lick the sugar.

"Now I'm not sure that's going to fill you up.. I think it'll just make you hyper. Only a little, okay?"

The mare stopped licking and suddenly takes off upstairs.

"Rainbow Dash! Come back!" You chased her, calling for her quietly. "You're going to attract someone!"

The giggling pony scrambled up each stair, her wings fluttering with excitement. She ran into your room, jumped onto the bed with a daring leap, and ducked under the blue blankets, her blue rump sticking out. She was still giggling.

"Rainbow Dash. Where are- Oh." You picked her up by the butt and cradled her in your arms.

She laughed uncontrollably.

You shushed her, as you heard your wife stir in the sheets.

"Do you see that girl right there?" You pointed to your wife sleeping. "You can't wake her up, because she'll be mad at you and she'll be mad at me. Most likely more mad at me for liking ponies and having one with me right now."

Rainbow hopped back in your bed, curling herself up. You picked her up, laid yourself on the bed, and put her on your bare chest. She licked you on the cheek and neighed quietly.

"That a'girl." You said, stroking her mane.

Rainbow walked over to one of your pillows and picked it up with her teeth. She wagged it in front of your face and then dropped it on you.

"Thank you?" You handed it back to her with a smile and brought a finger to your lips. "Remember we have to be quiet."

She nodded and picked the pillow back up, dropping it on you again.

"Rainbow, I'm tired. I know you aren't because you just had a bunch of sugar, but can you please just fall asleep?" You picked the slightly slobbered pillow off your chest and placed her on it.

She blinked a couple of times and then padded off of you.

"Dashi!" you hissed. "Come here!"

She walked over to your wife and climbed over the mound that was her body.

Dianne yawned and rolled over, trapping Rainbow under her belly.

"Neighh!" she whined loudly, her hooves flailing and punching your wife painfully in the stomach.

"Dashi, stop!" You tried to keep your tone down, but it ended up being loud like Rainbow's whines. Your hands try to pry her from your wife's body.

Slowly, Dianne's green eyes open, and she sits up, freeing the pony beneath her.

"Andrew, what the heck are you doing?" she asked. Her eyes ran down to the pony with a pillow in her jaws. "And what the f-?!"

"Shh!" You covered Rainbow Dash's ears with your hands. "Not in front of Dashi."

"Who's Dashi?! And why is she holding a pillow?! You better explain fast."

"I can't explain. She was just here when I went to go to bed."

"Well get rid of her!"

"I can't." You stared down at the pony sympathetically. "She's my friend."

Rainbow Dash licked you.

"Andrew, you're a thirty-five-year-old playing with a rainbow-haired pony."

"What am I supposed to do with her?" You asked.

"I think I know a certain girl who would love a cute little pony to play with." Dianne smirked.

"Thank you so much Daddy!" Amber squeals, hugging Rainbow Dash, a pillow still in her grasp.
