After making a crash landing on the Mane Carrier, our heroes quickly recovered from the crashes, "You guys alright?" Rainbow Dash called, as she and the other pegasi landed in front of the group.
"Yeah, we're all ok, so lets get on with the attack!" Silver said, as he and the others ran towards the ship, with Filli Second rocketing past them.
"Ok, so now that they're attacking the Mane Carrier, we need to launch a counter strike! Make it snappy," James ordered, as the mummies launched a barrage of rockets at Filli Second, who was too fast for them to hit her, as she turned back around, and ran back towards her team.
"She's turning back around!" Brian called, as Filli Second stopped in front of them.
"Francisco, are you sure you'll be ok?" Filli Second asked.
"Yeah!" Francisco replied, tearing of his bandages, and following his group, just as a rocket just barely missed Filli Second, opening a hole into the ground.
"You guys go on ahead, I'll go and look for the last of the Master Element!" Eris said, as she dropped into the hole.
"Eris," Raiden said, before being stopped by Silver.
"Let her go, she has her own task," Silver explained, as everyone continued towards the bridge.
"Grr, persistent little whelps. No matter, I have a back up solution," James said, as he walked over to a control panel, "Oh Gamma! Report to the control deck immediately, I have a job for you," James said, which activated a large red robot.
"Alright, but when you made those other four robots, I don't see why we needed the Nightmare Moon filly," High Heel said.
"Because we need the essence of a powerful pony, and the adult alicorns won't just hand over their powers, so I built those four to find an alicorn filly," James said, as he went into a flashback.
"I'm sensing a flashback now," Long Face said.
*Flashback*
In the Mane Carrier conference room, James was standing on top of a large stage, in front of four robots, one black, one orange, one blue, and one red, "Attention, my marvelous J-Series robots, if you would turn your attention to the screen behind me, you will notice a very peculiar alicorn filly. Unlike most horses, this one is sporting very unusual reptilian eyes. Your mission is to find and bring back this filly, do I make my self clear?" James asked, as a picture of Nyx appeared on the screen behind him.
"YES MASTER!" the four robots chorused.
"Then go now, and don't fail me!" James ordered, as the robots all left.
Thirty minutes later,
"My filly is the real one!" the orange robot said, holding up a whimpering black unicorn filly.
"No mine is!" the black robot said, holding a black earth filly.
"No, mine is the real filly!" the blue one argued, holding a black Pegasus filly.
"James will be so proud," the red one said, holding Nyx, who was struggling to get out.
"Pipe down, James is approaching!" Long Face ordered.
"He will decided if your fillies are the real one he needs," High Heel said.
"Ah, excellent work boys, now then, lets have a look at these fillies," James said, as he looked at the eyes of the one the orange and blue robots had, and frowned, "WHAT?! YOU DARE BRING THESE SIMPLE FILLIES!?" James demanded, as he walked over to the black robot, "GRR, NO, NO, NO! GAH! YOU CLANKING CLODS! This isn't the filly I wanted! Do any of them have snake like eyes?! You should be lucky I don't turn you all into scrap metal!" James yelled, causing the fillies to cower under his aggressive voice.
"Sorry," the black robot said, which only angered James even more.
"Now listen up! I am not looking for any old black horse! I am looking for a very special one, with eyes that are like a reptile!" James yelled, before seeing the filly Gamma had, "Uh, what? Yes, that's the one! That's my little Nightmare filly! I knew you would do me proud Gamma!" James said, commending his robot.
"Thank you!" Gamma replied, as James laughed evilly again, before glaring at the other robots and fillies, who all had anime sweat marks coming off of them.
"You're all useless to me! Long Face! Go ahead and destroy the robots except for Gamma, and release the other fillies except for the one he brought us!" James said, as a button appeared before the joyless Pegasus.
"With pleasure," Long Face said, pushing the button, as the other robots were transported out of the conference room, while the fillies were forced into escape capsules, and fired out of the battleship.
"I guess if you have to go, those are the best ways," High Heel said.
"No thanks, if I were a robot, I would want to rust away," Long Face argued.
"Gamma, go ahead and take this filly to the brig, I'll send for you when I need her, as well as that other one," James said.
"Yes sir," Gamma said, as he took Nyx away.
*end of flashback*
"Does that make sense now?" James asked, which the unicorn nodded in understanding.
Meanwhile, elsewhere on the Mane Carrier,
"Josh, are you sure this is the way?" Kelly asked, as she, her brother, and sister all infiltrated the Mane Carrier in search of Nyx.
"I'm sure the big robot hid Nyx down here somewhere," Josh replied.
"I hope your right," Crystal said uneasily, just as Gamma walked by, with Nyx in his arms, startling the three kids. Nyx took notice of her little brother and sisters, and was about to say something, when Josh put a finger up to his mouth, as a signal for her to be quiet. Nyx nodded, as the three siblings carefully tiptoed behind Gamma. After awhile, Gamma went into a room, which the three kids carefully snuck inside, and hid behind some crates, waiting for Gamma to leave. After leaving Nyx in a jail cell with Season Harvest, Gamma left.
"Josh, Kelly, Crystal, what're you guys doing here?!" Nyx asked hysterically, but was still happy to see that her siblings followed after her.
"We're here to rescue you," Josh replied, as he pushed some boxes up to the control panel, and with a press of the release button, the bars fell, and Nyx and Season Harvest were free, "Now lets get out of here, before that robot comes back!" Josh said, as he and the girls left the room, and tried to make their way to the deck, only to be stopped by the same robot.
"Stop! You two fillies will return to your cell, along with these other organics!" Gamma said.
"No way!" Josh protested.
"You must! Master James commands it!" Gamma argued.
"Well, he can't make us!" Nyx argued.
"Master James Commands it! Master James commands it!" Gamma protested.
"Now look here! We aren't scared of Toby's real daddy!" Kelly said.
"You are not afraid?" Gamma asked, in a surprised tone.
"That's right, and even if we were, we still wouldn't do it!" Season replied.
"Look, we know you have a job to do, but we'd appreciate it if you let us by," Crystal said.
"No! Not possible!" Gamma protested.
"But why not? Just because you were programmed to be bad doesn't mean you have to be," Josh said.
"...OVERLOAD! OVERLOAD!" Gamma cried, grabbing ahold of his head in pain.
"Is something wrong with him?" Nyx asked.
Letting go of his head, Gamma turned to the children, "Go now!" he said, stepping out of their way.
"Thanks so much!" Kelly said, as she and the others ran past Gamma.
"Bye mister robot!" they all rang.
"Bye," Gamma said.
After saying farewell to Gamma, the children soon found themselves on the deck of the Mane Carrier, "Alright, so where do we go from here?" Kelly asked.
"FREEZE!" the children jumped when they saw the enemies of the Power Ponies, all standing before them.
"We got you now!" Mane-iac said, as she and her friends went to seize the children, but they all jumped back when they saw Kelly holding an oversized hammer.
"Now don't you readers at home ask how Kelly got a hammer," Josh said.
"BACK OFF!" Kelly demanded.
"Now, lets not do anything irrational!" the Pharaoh pleaded.
"Please calm down," High Heel begged.
Kelly was about to swing the hammer, when she was stopped by James, "Now then, that wouldn't be very nice, now would it?" he asked tauntingly.
"Well you're no better, ganging up on a group of kids like that, what kind of a man would do that?" they all turned to see the Power Ponies, the Mane Six, and the titans all sitting on top of where the kids came from, looking down at the villains and the children.
"Mommy, we can explain why we're here!" Josh said.
"Don't worry Josh, there'll be time for explanations later," Twilight reassured, as she and the others dropped down.
"Now then, I shall ask only once more, back off," Raiden demanded with a glare. While she was distracted, Season let a yelp as she was hoisted into the air by one of the strands of hair of the Mane-iac.
"SEASON!" Applejack cried, bashing away James and the villains, but wasn't fast enough to catch the crazy mare, as she jumped away.
"Ah, ah, ah, we wouldn't want to do anything rash now would we?" the crazed mare taunted.
"I have another surprise for you," James said, pulling out a small communicator, "Oh Gamma, please report to the control deck immediately," he said. After a few minutes, the same robot from before came through the doorway.
"You called Master?" Gamma asked.
"Yes, I would like for you to destroy these pests, but leave the Nightmare filly, we still have need for her," James commanded.
"Alright, we could use a bit of practice," Silver said, as he and the others geared up for a fight.
"WAIT! He's not a bad robot! He helped us escape!" Kelly said, trying to reason with the adults. This however, did nothing to keep Gamma from firing at the adults. Upon being fired at, the adults and the titans scattered, with Gamma trying to blast them. Gamma decided to try and stop Filli Second, as she's the fastest. Filli Second was able to lead Gamma away from the group, albeit still being fired at. But as soon as Gamma blasted some rubble up, the supersonic mare was able to leap from rock to rock, before kicking a large piece directly at Gamma. Once Gamma was pinned down, the others rushed to finish him off, only to be stopped by the children, including Toby, who snuck away from his father while he wasn't looking.
"Mommy! Stop this now!" Kelly begged.
"Kelly, Josh, Crystal, I love you three, but I need to ask you to step aside," Twilight asked, softly yet sternly.
"No, this robot helped us escape. He's our friend!" Crystal argued, with a convincing look in her eyes.
"Alright, if you say so," Twilight said with a shrug. Just then, the group all felt a hard jerk.
"What was that?!" Kelly asked, holding onto her siblings for dear life.
"I think the ship is loosing altitude!" Raiden said, turning towards the Power Ponies, "Power Ponies, take Twilight and her friends and get out of here!" he instructed the superhero ponies.
"But what about you boys?" Fluttershy asked.
"We'll stay behind and try and find and stop James' evil plans. We already rescued Toby, but someone has to stay and save the elements of harmony," Silver explained, as he and his brothers left to find James.
"Mr. Robot?" Kelly asked, as she and the other knelt down to see if Gamma was awake. Upon hearing the little girls voice, the eyes of Gamma flashed, and he woke up, "Oh thank goodness you're alright," Kelly said, breathing a sigh of relief.
"You saved my life?" Gamma asked.
"Of coarse, it was the least we could do," Josh said, just as the adults grabbed the children, save for Nyx, who was soon captured by one of James' claw machines, "NYX!" Josh cried, but couldn't get to her, because of the magic grip of his mother.
"I wouldn't do anything brash now if I were you, not unless you want the Nightmare filly to be destroyed," James said, which discouraged any of the heroes from coming near him.
"But why are you kidnapping Nyx? She's not an element of harmony," Twilight asked.
"Yes, but she's an alicorn, so I suggest none of you try anything hasty, unless you want to see her get hurt," James said, which forced the heroes to stand down.
"Don't worry Nyx, we'll save you, somehow," Twilight reassured, which Nyx softly nodded.
"That's good of you all to do, now get out of here! While I try and find that brat of a son of mine!" James yelled, which the heroes complied reluctantly, and left the mane carrier, "Now then, lets go and introduce you to Chaos," James said, carry Nyx away.
Meanwhile elsewhere on the mane carrier,
"Oww!" Eris cried, rubbing her head, "Something's going on, but I managed to find the last of the master element, so I'm out of here!" Eris said, as she carefully made her way down the hall. A little ways down the hall, she saw a ball of red light, flying towards her. Once it was close enough, it engulfed Eris in a flash of light. Opening her eyes, Eris saw she was out side a burning temple, where at the base, she saw the same mare from before, on the ground, with a bunch of the same fairy ponies, all laying unconscious. Eris then rushed over to see if any of them were ok.
Once she was close enough, she could see the mare stand up slowly, and looked in the direction of the female Draconequss, "I tried to stop them, but my father just would not listen," the mare explained, as she stood up, and looked around at the Breezies that lay unconscious, "No, I have to stop this now!" the mare said, running towards the shrine, just as Eris was engulfed by the same light.
Opening her eyes again, Eris found herself back in the Mane Carrier, where she was last, "What was that? There has to be a reason I'm being shown these images," she questioned, as she continued to find a way out of the battleship.
