Hello fellow Bronies, and Pegasisters. This is a bit different than most stories, especially ones I am likely to do but I had this idea made a 9 page rough draft/outline, showed some friends, they decided I should make it a fim seeing as it has their ocs. So my oc is first, then my friends follow up. Also if you haven’t you should check out my other story. I’m taking a small break from it to refresh my creativity.

It was a few thousand years ago, Luna was still princess of the night, Star Swirl the Bearded was around and he seemed to be arguing with her over something. There also seemed to be another pony behind them.
“I’m telling you Luna, it’s possible to travel back in time!” Star Swirl said with conviction.
“But nopony would have enough energy by themselves to do it!” Luna argued.
“Well how about we settle this with a test? Say Star Swirl is right and you can travel back in time, and to gather enough energy, you could use the flow of power around you.” Said the third pony stepping in and resolving the conflict instantly calming both of the ponies as was one of his many talents. He was a pure black alicorn with a violet mane and tail that had streaks of electric blue and sanguine (blood red) running through it and it looked singed and the colors were spread in no apparent order. His cutie mark was a heart with a dagger through it on fire, the heart sanguine, the dagger black with a ruby hilt, and the fire electric blue.
“Night Fire thanks for solving that conflict… again.” Luna said with a blush nuzzling up to him.
“No problem, I just don’t enjoy fighting, especially when such beautiful women are involved.” Night Fire said to Luna making her blush.
“Well if you two are done with that, I have the design drawn up.” Star Swirl said to them motioning to his scroll.
“Alright I’ll test it, I’ll go back and observe myself sleeping this morning, I want to know what I do in my sleep.” Night Fire said standing in an open area. “Stand back you two, not sure what will happen.”
Luna and Star Swirl stood back and made the customary magical bubble shield. They then watched as Night Fire started to summon magic around his body. As magical flames and lightning surrounded his body, and suddenly in a bright and loud explosion he disappeared, scorching the floor with some minor blood here and there with the smell of singed hair in the air.
“NIGHT FIRE!!!!” Luna yelled out running from her magical shield and to the spot where he last was standing, and started to cry. Star Swirl pulled her back with magic and put her in another shield as suddenly more lightning and fire blew up and Night Fire appeared, alive but a bit hurt.
“Alright, memo to me, don’t do THAT again.” Night Fire said with a grimace as he healed his bleeding wounds and burns.
“NIGHT FIRE, THANK GOODNESS!!!” Luna yelled hugging him with tears of relief falling down her face. “I thought you had died… again.”
Night Fire looked at Luna and held her close, “Luna I’ve told you a thousand times,” He bends down to look into her eyes, “I won’t die that easy.”
“Well if that aint the truth, we almost killed you too many damn times and you just keep worrying Luna.” Star Swirl said with a smirk on his face. “So what was it like?”
“I was there for about a minute, but couldn’t really make my form stay solid or make any physical changes just observe. It was not pleasant.” Night Fire said smirking knowing Star Swirl would keep a copy of that spell for certain “Purposes”.
“So we need to start finding a new way to get more magic, but not explode.” Star Swirl said looking through his notes, with Luna reading some of hers trying to find ideas.
“Wait, before you guys do anything move about two feet back, something is about to appear there.” Night Fire said and they instantly obeyed seeing as he had this uncanny ability to see danger before it happened. Not even a minute after they moved a whirring was heard and suddenly a blue box appeared were they were.
“Well that’s quite interesting.” Star Swirl said looking at the box.
“What the hay?” Luna asked looking confused.
Suddenly out of the box steeped a brown earth pony with very light lavender unicorn filly with golden hair and eyes. They looked around and sighed.
“Dinky, where did you lead us this time?” The brown earth pony asked the small unicorn standing next to him.
“I thought I was right this time, I mean I only tried once before!” The Unicorn said in a huffy manner.
“Who the buck are you and what do you want?” Night Fire demanded from them.
They turned and their surprise was obvious, as if they had only just noticed him. They ran over to him and out shouted the filly, “I told you doctor! I told you!”
“Fine Dinky, you win. Ugh, what do I owe you this time? Another muffin?” The doctor said with a sly look on his face at the last part seeing the filly nod.
“Who are you?” Night Fire asked using his voice in his calming way causing both to stop and look at him.
“I am Doctor Whooves, and this is Dinky Hooves,” Said the earth pony with Dinky smiling a mile wide, “We need your help.”
“Let me guess, save Equestria, life threating, different countries and all that?” Night Fire said not looking interested.
“Try save universe, not likely to ever return, different world and different time.” The earth pony said.
“And mommy and I will give you muffins!” Dinky said smiling.
“I’m curious, so I’ll go with you, but if I don’t want to can I drop out at any time and return to this life?” Night Fire asked him to make sure.
“Sure, I don’t see why not, it seems reasonable.” He said with a kind smile.
“Star Swirl, catch!” Night Fire said tossing a scroll, “You and Luna figure out that spell, it’s very helpful. Luna here have this.” He pulls out a box which on the inside has a black gold pendant in the shape of his cutie mark, and on the inside was a picture of him and Luna cuddled up under the moon. “Don’t ever forget about me, I’ll be back.” He said putting the necklace on her.
“Night Fire, don’t leave me.” Luna said nuzzling him with tears in her eyes. “I don’t want to live without you being by my side.”
“Don’t you worry, I’ll be back, just remember me until then, and besides, I won’t die that easily!” Night Fire said with a smirk kissing her before heading into the blue box. “So what is this called?”
“The TARDIS. It’s a machine that we use to travel through time and space.” Dinky replied with a smile bouncing into the box.
“Well she is lovable, now that I think about it, who is her father?” Night Fire asked the doctor as they walked in.
“Well I’m not sure, but I am as good of a father as any I suppose.” He replied walking over to where Dinky had gone gesturing for Night Fire to follow. Night Fire was mainly surprised how big the inside of the TARDIS was. He followed the doctor into what appeared to be a kitchen of sorts. “This here is my lovely girlfriend Derpy Hooves, she is Dinky’s mother.” Doctor Whooves explained, with Derpy walking up with her sweet smile on her face.
“Hello, it’s nice to meet the mother of this incredibly cute and well-mannered filly.” Night Fire said with a smile that made Derpy very happy.
“Well thank you, would you like a muffin?” Derpy said holding out one.
“Sure, I’ll try it.” Night Fire said popping it in his mouth, he chewed it and swallowed. “It was amazing Derpy, you sure know how to bake.”
“Thank you, and I told you doctor!” She said with a smirk at him.
“You don’t get twenty bits unless one of the other two eats one.” The doctor said to her.
“Wait, other two?” Night Fire asked.
“Yes, I am going to pick up two more, one is a Pegasus by the name Swift Whooves, a distant cousin. He’s next.” Doctor said going up to where Dinky was pulling a lever.
“Dinky if we end up 2 feet away from a star this time, I drive.” He said opening the door.
“When did that happen?” Night Fire asked her.
“The first time I tried to drive. I like you, can I call you uncle night?” Dinky asked sweetly.
“Sure thing, I like you kid very nice and smart also.” Night Fire said with a kind smile.
“Alright you two, there he is.” Doctor Whooves said pointing down to a race track where two pegasi were racing each other. As they neared the finish line it seemed close but the obvious winner was the female, a rainbow maned pegasus, with a blue coat. The other pegasus,  with blue fur and a dark blue mane and tail flew up and hugged her, then flew off to rest on some clouds as she flew the other way. Night Fire could make out her blush from the TARDIS which was floating above Swift.
“Hmmm how to go get him…” Doctor Whooves said thinking.
“Dinky jump onto my back and hold on.” Night Fire said making sure she had a good hold he jumped and glided down to Swift. “Oi, Swift Whooves, your distant cousin wants to talk to you, come with us.”
“If you do you get MUFFINS!!! Dinky said happily to him.
“Ummm okay?” Swift said confused but he followed them back to the TARDIS. “Doctor, is that you?”
“Yep, it’s me.” He said with a smile.
“Nice, now I heard the word muffins.” Swift said following Dinky to the kitchen.
“Shit! I better go get my money.” Doctor said walking into one of the many rooms and coming out with a bag that said 20 on it. “Here you go Derpy.” He said walking into the kitchen. Night Fire’s violet and Swifts emerald eyes twinkling with laughter. 
“So cousin of mine, where do we go now?” Swift asked taking off his hidden weight harness.
“To pick up the third person, and Night Fire, can you please turn into like a unicorn for a second?” The Doctor asked trying for them to look normal.
“Sure, that’s pretty simple.” Night Fire said cloaking his body till he looked like a regular unicorn pony.
“Alright we are there.” The doctor said to them when they shuddered suddenly to a stop.
“Um we appear to be outside a bar.” Swift said.
“Thank you captain obvious. It’s INSIDE the bar that we need to go to find him.” Night Fire said to Swift who looked back with a ‘no shit’ look.
“Both of you follow me.” The Doctor said walking into the bar with both of them following him into the bar. Upon entering it looked like a normal Canterlot bar, with a bartender, low lit booths, and a bar. At the Bar sat a pony with a black blindfold on, with a sanguine coat and silver mane and tail with black streaks among the silver. In a booth towards the back however, sat a very familiar alicorn, Princess Luna. She was drinking vodka and was looking sad. Night Fire noticed and then went to the bartender. They talked, some bits were exchanged and when he came back he had a beer, and a sowerful expression.
“Let’s hurry this up.” Night Fire said downing his beer very quickly.
“Alright, excuse me, are you Chromatic Reverb?” Doctor Whooves said to the unicorn at the bar.
“I go by Chrome, time lord, I know you want me, I’ll go only because I have nothing better to do.” He said getting up and walking towards the door, when they followed suddenly they heard loud sobbing and turned to see Luna crying her eyes out.
“Doctor can I get some business out of the way and bring along Luna?” Night Fire asked when they got outside.
“Fine be back in 5 minutes or we leave without you.” He said.
“Got it.” Night Fire quickly turned into an alicorn then decided to make his hair flow like Luna’s making it look like live fire. He then flew to the palace gardens and saw Celestia strolling among the plants. “TIA I NEED A FAVOR!” He yelled gliding down to her.
“Night Fire, after a few thousand years you appear and ask for a favor, on your birthday. I should banish you to the moon!” Celestia almost yelled at him royally pissed off.
“No cause the favor is if you can take over Luna’s job for a while while she travels with me.” Night Fire asked looking with pleading eyes.
“Fine, go find her and tell her your wonderful news, if she doesn’t kill you.” Celestia said turning to walk among the garden once more.
“Thanks!” He yelled flying back to the bar, he walked in and made his body covered by a black cloak he magically made before Luna could see him and changed his voice to a bit more gruff than it usually is. He walked up to her.
“What do you want?” She asked with tear filled eyes.
“An explination upon why a woman such as yourself would be crying.” Night Fire said not letting on it was him.
“Because I haven’t seen the one I love in a long time.” Luna said with more tears.
“Ah but you see, that’s where you are wrong. You have seen him very recently.” Night Fire quickly disappeared to a booth behind Luan and took off the cloak silently walking up to her.
“What the buck did he mean by that?” Luna asked herself.
“Hmm maybe if you turn around you would find out my little slice of the moon.” Night Fire said to her in his normal voice. She quickly turned and saw him in all his glory with his hair actually flowing.
“Night Fire…” Luna said then suddenly her eyes blazed in rage and she shot the very fire spell he had given her all those years ago at him yelling, “DIE IMPOSTER!”
When the spell subsided Night Fire was there scorched but alive. “Ugh, I’ve told you a thousand and one times Luna, I won’t die that easy. I might get the living shit kicked out of me but I won’t die.” He looked at her with his cocky smirk. She teared up and walked to him as he case his healing spell getting rid of the worst of the burns. The bartender looked at them and just shook his head, never wanting to understand alicorns.
“So how was all the adventures?” Luna asked curious.
“To be honest, we have yet to go on any. We came here to pick up the third dude and I asked if I could grab you also, and yes Tia gave me permission.” Night Fire said with a  grin.
“Well what are we waiting for?” Luna asked him confused.
“Nothing if we want to go, because we have less than a minute to get on the TARDIS, so grab on.” Night Fire said his horn glowing. Luna quickly wrapped her hooves around him and they disappeared in a burst of fire. When they dispelled the fire around them they were inside the TARDIS and Dinky and Derpy were holding out a muffin with a  smile plastered on their faces.
“So these are your companions?” Luna said looking around the massive machine and seeing everybody they would be traveling with.
“Apparently and also I think Dinky wants to ask you a question.” Night Fire said pointing down at were Dinky was.
“Hmm? Yes child, what do you wish to ask us- er me.” Luna said to Dinky looking at her curiously.
“Would you like a muffin?” Dinky said holding out one.
“Sure, it sounds and smells amazing.” Luna devoured it and then smiled, “Thank you it was amazing.”
Luna then went and nuzzled up to Night Fire, who nuzzled her back then kissed her. Everyone saw this and here are their expressions; Chrome didn’t really care, Doctor Whooves smiled with a knowing smile, Swift whistled, Derpy looked at the Doctor and blushed and Dinky smiled jumping up and down with glee. When they stopped kissing Dinky bounced up to them.
“Uncle Night, does this mean that Princess Luna is my Aunt Luna?” Dinky asked sweetly looking at him with an innocent smile.
“Ask her kid, I’ll let you call me Uncle but you have to ask her about calling her your Aunt.” Night Fire replied looking at Luna.
“Well I see no reason why she can’t; I mean she is sweet, nice, and incredibly smart and well-mannered.” Luna said with a smile, causing Dinky to bounce as high as the ceiling then she and Derpy went into the kitchen, probably to make more muffins.
“Well now that introductions are done with as well as they will be, I guess I should tell you all where we shall be going.” The Doctor said looking at them. “I wish I could just send us to any point in time and relax like I usually do but it came up recently that you guys have to save the world from the infinite cold, were are not sure what this really is but clouds are disobeying the pegasi and it seems the reason are that unicorns are enchanting them. We don’t know why but it can’t be good, so who is in?”
“Um I think I speak for all of us when I say this, but we came here to do just this remember? So we all are in.” Swift said with everybody else nodding.
“Alright then, it will take about a day to get there so go find a room and make yourselves at home. There are weapons, tools, training equipment, a pool and a room of clothes back there.” The Doctor said turning to punch in the coordinates in time and space to go.
