A day after her encounter with Button Mash, Sweetie Belle was walking back to the Carousel Boutique with Silver Spoon. Silver Spoon was chattering away in her ear though Sweetie wasn't really listening.
"Hey are you ok?" Silver Spoon prods her cheek bringing Sweetie back to reality.
"Huh? What?" She says looking at her.
"Never mind its nothing...." Silver Spoon says flattening her ears and looking away degectedly.
"I'm sorry I wasn't listening but I am now." Sweetie says trying to sound happy.
"Well I was just saying my birthday is in a few days and I was wondering if you were going to be there." Silver Spoon says.
"Of course I will." Sweetie says as they near the Boutique.
"Thanks......Do you want Diamond Tiara to be there? Because she doesn't have to be you know." Silver spoon says quickly.
"No its fine she's your friend and I'm sure she wants to be there." Sweetie says as they arrive outside of the boutique.
"Thanks Sweetie." Silver spoon says nuzzling Sweetie.
"Yeah. Well I'll see you tommorrow...." Sweetie says walking into the Store.
Rarity walks looks over to the door to see Sweetie walk in with a rather depressed look on her face.
"Sweetie did you have fun with your friend today?" Rarity asks as she walks over to a chair and sits down.
"Yeah...." She says.
Rarity walks over to her." Are you alright darling?"
"Yeah I'm just having a few problems...." Sweetie says
"Well do you want to talk about it?" Rarity asks sitting next to her.
"Not really...." Sweetie says glumly.
Rarity puts a hoof on her shoulder." Darling you know if there is anything wrong you can tell me right?" Rarity says with a smile
Sweetie sighs." Its a boy alright!" She snaps.
"Oh darling!" Rarity chuckles." Is that all?!"
"What do you mean is that all?!" Sweetie says angrily
"Darling it couldn't be any more simple! You should've come to me in the first place. If its a boy you want its a boy you'll get" Rarity says with a smile.
"And how are you going to do that?" Sweetie asks as Rarity stands and begins ushering her to a makeup table.
"You just leave that to me darling." Rarity says sitting her down on it." You are going to look fabulous!"
Buttons POV
Button sat on a bench next to Diamond Tiara watching the sunset.
"I've always thought the setting sun was romantic." Diamond Tiara sighs.
"Yep, Princess Celestia really outdid herself this time." Button says smiling.
Out of the corner of Buttons eye he sees two ponies walking down the park path towards them.
"Is that....Rarity?" Diamond Tiara says looking at the new arrivals.
"What?" Button turns to see Rarity walking towards them with Silver Spoon or at least it looks like Rarity. The filly had a violet mane and tail and a white coat like Rarity but she was the same size as Silver Spoon and her eyes are a beautiful emerald green. The filly walks right by Button and sits on a bench next to Diamond and Button. Button squints at the filly trying to place her. There was something about those eyes that was....familiar.
"Sweetie bell?" Button says with an unsure tone.
"Yes?" Sweetie says tossing her mane and smiling at him.
"Sweetie?!" Diamond says gawking.
"Why do you look like your sister?" Button asks.
"Is it a crime to look goo..." Sweetie stops and squints at a tree over by the pond."....d I mean Fabulous!" She tosses her mane.
Button turns and looks over at the tree. He sees a flash of white duck behind a bush next to the tree. Button trots over to the bush and pushes it down to reveal rarity sitting behind it.
"Oh! Uhhh Button! What brings you to this......Bush?" She smiles innocently.
Button sighs and turns to Sweetie who had walked over to the bush with Diamond and Silver Spoon." Sweetie I know what is going on and It isn't going to work I'm sorry but I've already said.....I love Diamond Tiara." Button says as tears begin forming in Sweetie's eyes." I'm sorry." He reaches out with a hoof but she backs away and runs out of the park and out of sight.
"I hope you are happy young man!" Rarity starts but Button cuts her off.
"I am happy Rarity! I don't need some stuck up fashionista lecturing me on relationships! I gave Sweetie every chance but now she is too late and you don't need to be fancying her up like you just because you think you are good enough looking that everypony in equestria would want to date you! She is beautiful in her own way and you don't need to be mucking it up with your horrible taste in mancecut!" Button yells making Rarity cringe.
"Well! I'd never!" She says.
"Well I just did!" He growls." Now I suggest you leave her alone and let her work out her own problems. She Isn't some Rarity Jr. for you to dress up in your own image." He says as Rarity walks away.
Sweeties POV
Sweetie runs through her bedroom door and throws herself onto her bed not noticing Scootaloo and Applebloom sitting around her room.
"Sweetie whats wrong?" Applebloom asks puttinga hoof on her shoulder.
"And why do you look so stuck up?" Scootaloo asks earning a glare from Applebloom." What? I only said what I meant...." She mumbles.
"B-button doesn't want me girls......" She sobs." He wants Diamond tiara...."
"Ugh! Yer still stuck on him? Sweetie you are a great girl and you could so much better!" Applebloom says.
"In fact thats why we were waiting for you....We found a way to get him back!" Scootaloo giggles deviously.
"What do you mean?" Sweetie asks with a sniff.
Applebloom reaches into her saddle bag and pulls out a glittering tiara. She sets it down on the bed.
"Is that?!" Sweetie asks.
"Yup! Diamond tiara's Cuteciniera tiara!" Applebloom says with a smile.
"And we are going to break those two up by framing Button for stealing it." Scootaloo says with an evil grin.
