After the events that took place in the old cottage and a decade has past. We join Firespark. Now she is full-fledged veteran of the brotherhood, and she made a name for herself after her last mission by taking down the main clan leader of the vampires in Transylmania. This news is only within the brotherhood and words of it didn't got out as much. Now she is at the Brotherhood of Hunters H.Q. building in Canterlot where she is awaiting for her next mission.

Now being a well know hunter in her group and being stuck in some office like she was in her starting day just bored out of her mind. She just about had it with wait around the office and decided to go see if can she do something more usefull for herself.  Meanwhile she was going through the halls of H.Q. she was reminding herself of her past missions and her most recent one. As she found the hall of records and started to go through her records and other available one as well. Continuing through the pages she stop at a photo with a note that somepony gave to her when she is making her way to Canterlot before her big mission, but she put it away and left in her records. She read what it says. 

That this one needs to be taken care of, before it become hungry and attack the citizens of Ponyville.

As she starts to look at the photo and notice it was the Vampire that she beat up at the old cottage in Ponyville, and the same one the main clan leader mention too. So she thought about it and decides to head for the archives and check in to if they have some sort of bounty on her. Going through the records for what seemed like hours on end, she comes across it and pull out the file, and begins to read it.

This vampire of the region is in the Everfree forest near Ponyville. Sometimes sited at an old abandon cottage, or Sweet Apple Akers.
She has been terrorizing to who dares come into the cottage. She has been caught in the act with a dead pony in Canterlot by Princess Twilight Sparkle.
This vampire is dangerous and shouldn't be taking lightly. It's better to captured her alive, if necessary dead and taken to Princess Twilight Sparkle to collect the money.

A photo of her standing over and holding by the hoof of the poor pony and looking at them surprised, and another one shows her taking off to the window in a blur.

Firespark thought to herself that this vampire is of interest by Princess Twilight. Most the other one have been put to death by the brotherhood with out question as in to why should they keep them in prison. Nopony has taken up in this bounty for some time now there should be a reason, so she plan to go for it and take the up to the clerk and have him check it. She went off to the clerk desk and comes up to him and pass the file to him. He tilt his head and adjust his glasses and pick up the file and give a hum. As he go through the pages of the file and speaks up to her.

"This is an a very old file where did you get it?" 

"I found it in the cluttered mess through Ponyville bounties filing cabinet." 
She reply.

He looks at her and adjust his glasses and ask her another question. 

"I've heard about this case, some time ago it's good to see somepony going after it. Do you wish to go after this one and not wait for a more current one?" 

She nods at answering yes to his question. So he starts to stamp on it and ask her to sign it. 

"Well then your all set up for this mission. Do you have any questions about it?"

Firespark nods as he passes back to her the paperwork.

"How come nopony gone after this mission and why is it set aside for very long time?"

"Well at the time we've gotten the request but we were very busy and had a lot of requests to and from covert operations and big hunts. We try to take care of them and we're short handed at the time. Hunting down this not so well know vampire was not worth the time. So it got lost in the filing cabinet and was forgotten for awhile. It's good to see that your going to take care of this case. Also I would like to add that since this is a special case because it's from the princess of friendship. Just keep in mind knowing all vampires that has been slain in the past by the brotherhood of hunters. It doesn't matter what kind of vampire they are. All of them are still evil and should be dealt with in such a manner that should means death for all vampires. Even if this case is a request by the princess that this one should be taken dead or alive but more towards alive and brought to her is a bit much to ask from us. If I was you and I manage to capture her, and if she try to escape from me. I would kill her." 
He answer.

She takes the paperwork looks at it for a moment and then looks back him. 
"So your saying that nopony in the brotherhood done this type of request?" 

The clerk replies to her. "It hasn't been done for a very long time since the beginning of the brotherhood." He is in deep in thought and put his hoof to his chin and continue. "Consider yourself lucky that you are the first one in a long time to do this and get to go catch a live one for the princess. Anything else you want to ask?" 

She shakes her head. She say a goodbye to the clerk, then she turn around and is on her way out the door.

As she trots trough streets when she is lost in her thoughts and not paying much attention to her surroundings. She is bumps into a dark brown unicorn stallion named Bookmark. They both yelp as they fell down, Fireworks was quick to get back up. Bookmark shakes his head and look up at the pony who bump it him and notice it was a member from the brotherhood but he wasn't sure. He knows that their outfit, are made of a red with black lining for the hooded cape, for their main outfit the colors are of black with gold lining and their insignia on the back of their capes. Bookmark got up an look at the pony in front of him. 

"Hey, you need to watch where you are going!" His angered facial expression change at the realization about her. "Wait a minute here, aren't you a member of the brotherhood?" She nods to answer his question. Then he continue. 

"I thought a member of the Brotherhood is always is on their hooves and able to dodge anything." 
He teased. 

Firespark dust herself off and look at him. "What do mean by that? I was just lost in thought. Your the one who needs to watch where are you going." 
She argued. 

Bookmark stops before continuing with the argument and realize a little bit more that the pony in front of him is none other than Firespark. He wasn't that quick to recognized her from the start, but he at least apologize to her for being rude. She accepts his apologies, then he ask her. 

"So where are you going to? Are you heading out another big mission?"

She reply. " I'm going on to my next mission in ponyville. Why do you ask?" 

Firespark is looking up to the sky quickly and then looks back to him. He looks at her with confusion and a rises eyebrow wandering why she did that. Little does he knows she was checking the time from the sun. 

"Well anyways, if you don't minded I was hoping if I can get you an interview with you. I've always wanted to that for my job." 

Firespark just looks at him and thought about it and remind herself the last time she had one and how that went.

"Na, I'm not interested in one here. I'm just far too busy to do one at this time, ok bye." 
She tells him and starts to walk away. 

Bookmarking had to think of something quick just to get her in to an interview with him or somepony as long he get some sort of credit for it. 

"Wait! If it's any interest with you I'm working for the Canterlot newsletter."  

This gotten Firespark's attention and she token in what he have said and to her the Canterlot newsletter is something she have heard of and  recalled. That her friend Ruby Tiara had sent her a letter mentioning she was working for this newsletter, from owning it, to doing interviews with known ponies. She made it one of the biggest news companies and next to the Manehattan time's. 

She reply. "I've heard of them before. I'm just wondering if Ruby Tiara is still working there?"

Bookmark nods his head. "Yes she does. She is the boss of me here. Do you want to have a interview with her?" 

"I would like to have one with her but I've got to go catch a train here and I'll be leaving soon. So if you see her just let her know I'm on my to Ponyville." 

Bookmark reply. "Oh, I see. Well when I see her again I'll make sure that she is a wear where you are heading to."

They say their goodbyes to each other And leave from where they had bump into each other. Bookmark now knows that if he doesn't move fast now, he'll won't get any credit for the day. So he must let Ruby know that she have a chance to interview with Firespark. Knowing how she is when it comes to big interviews with well know ponies that help her to get one with them. She gives out big credit for them.

Bookmark is running off having his thought going back and forth what to next and how much he is going to get out this. 
*I hope, I get to her in time. So she can meet up with Firespark before she leaves. Too bad I didn't take up lessons on teleportation spells besides the basics.  Oh, well...*


Meanwhile.


Ruby Tiara is in her office and going over her paperwork trying to get a good story for the press. She look to an old photo of her and Firespark before she leave to join the brotherhood in training. She heard of rumors that Firespark done something great in small area called Transylmania but to her just there rumors. Also there is a rumor that say she just took credit while some else did the work. Thinking to herself if she can get to interview with Firespark on her last adventures. About how she go through Transylmania and taking down the boss of this clans of vampires in this small area of Equestria. It would be the best story to help clear up these rumors and prove that Firespark is a hero. Tracking down her would be hard since members of the brotherhood is always on the move from go to random places and not being found anywhere. 

Ruby sighs and look out the window and spoted a pony running up to the building she is in. A moment later and that pony came rushing to her office and it was her one of her workers he was breathing heavily and look up to her. 

"Hey Ruby I've just met your Friend Firespark and she was just leaving the building of the Brotherhood. So I've talk to her about an interview and she told me that she can't and will be leaving soon, but she is willing to have this interview done by you."

Ruby has a surprise look on her face, that Bookmark had try to set up an interview with her old friend and had to rushed over here just to let her know that. 

"This is great Bookmark you've done a good job. It's been since I've talk to her about anything." ~sigh~

She was thinking the last time they hang out was when they're still fillies in the summer break that they have. She stop for a moment and looked up at the clock and realized that she is going to be late to meet her if she keeps on daydreaming about the past. So she get up and make her way towards the door. 

"You know Bookmark, thank you for giving me this tip. I'll make sure you'll be get credited for this story." 
She give him a wink.

Ruby made her way to the door waving good bye to him, and then going through the door and taking off to make her way to the train station. When she left behind Bookmark in the room, all he could is to start jumping around in excitement knowing he had accomplish he's goal for the day.


...Now we join in on the both of them...


As Ruby making her way to the train station, she was stopped by a very familiar pony from the distance. Her face lightens up to meet up with for her old friend.

"Ruby Tiara nice to see you again."
Firespark calls to Ruby.

From the distances to each, they both gallop up to each other and hugged each other. 

Ruby reply. "Same here Firespark and I'm looking forward to catch up with you. Also I wanted to ask you for a interview with you, of your past journey of hunting them nasty vampires?" 

Firespark looked at her and nod as they back off from the hug. 

"Well I guess since we're going to catch up and talk about what I've done so far. You have good timing Ruby, because I'm taking a train ride to ponyville, your more then welcome to join me and we'll do some catching up, plus you'll get your story. I'll be looking forward what you are going to ask me."
Firespark says. 

Ruby is excited to see that she is to be catching up with her old friend and get a story out of this. They both made it to the train station in and waited for it to arrive.

The train conductor yield out for the passengers to got on the train. All the ponies that waited for the train to depart to Ponyville got on.  It was going to be a long ride to Ponyville and they know it. The train departs from the Canterlot train station and the train can be seen going into the sunset.
