--Day 7
Dear Diary,
Today I took some of the money I've been saving and bought a computer. One of those hi-tech things everyone around here uses. I've had it for barely a day, and already I’m hooked. I bought one of the smaller ones called a Notebook as it was cheaper. It can’t play any video games, but it can help me type, and most importantly access this thing called the internet.
I think the internet is the part I find the most intriguing, as it allows me to connect to thousands of people from all over the world in seconds, all at the same time. Kind of wish there was a way to connect to Equestria from it. Hey, maybe if I can get Twilight to invent internet there, we can make some kind of magical connection between this world and Equestria. We could call it the Pony Wide Web, or E.O.L for Equestria Online.
One thing I think would be really cool to add to this between worlds web portal (if we ever make it) would be a video sharing platform. Around here we have this thing called YouTube, where we can make and share videos that can be seen all over this world. Our band has actually been using it to gain some publicity. Rainbow Dash brought a camera and we filmed ourselves practicing, then cut out the in between part’s and posted it. The video got quite a lot of views, and now we are getting a few more gig’s then we used to.
Anyway I just heard a ding, which means I have a new message on Skype (This online message sharing system similar to this book I am using in fact). Probably from Pinkie Pie doing her “Whatsuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup” thing again, we really need to stop her from watching those videos about the annoying talking orange. It’s beginning to get to her head, and our nerves.

-Day 8
Dear Diary,
Today I started my first ever (ugh) Day Job. Principal Celestia suggested it so I can save up some money for University after I graduate. I almost rejected the idea as I am still unsure whether I plan to stay here after leaving HS, or trying to get back to Equestria if Princess Celestia lets me. But just in case, and because all my friends suggested I do what Principal Celestia has suggested, I applied for and got a job at Wally Mart.
The first day was really tough….And Boooooooring. They spent an hour with me at the start of my shift telling me what I was supposed to do (as if that was not bloody obvious) and then the rest of the time I got started on the floor immediately as they were short staffed at the time. I work as a Cashier there, so I have to deal with the customer’s directly.
Some of the people that came though my line were really rude, and some really weird. One guy came in trying to pay with Monopoly money (fake money from a board game about being pieces of property, and trying to be the last to run out of money). Another customer came in wanting all his stuff for free claiming he had a rare disease in his leg’s, despite the fact he was tap dancing while in line. THEN a couple of little girls wearing fake mustaches and suit’s way too big for them came in wanting to buy alcohol…..
As if all THAT was not bad or weird enough, some guy came in trying to rob the store…..with a water gun……while wearing a barney suit (Barney is a character in a little kids show here)…and he wanted to steal some free newspaper’s that where on a little stand with a sign on them CLEARLY saying they were free of charge. We did not bother reporting him to the police as he technically did not steal anything, but we did call a psychiatric ward.
Anyway I managed to get through it, though I still have another day of work tomorrow. At least I only have to work 3 days a week, and luckily none of them are Weekends. Hey if I can survive this maybe I can save some money aside from my University fund to buy a Cellphone. At least THAT would make going through three days of hell worth it.
……So long as Pinkie Pie does not spam my phone with WHATSUUUUUUUUUUUUUP messages that is.

-Day 9
Dear Diary,
Today in school we had this thing called a Fire Drill. We never had such a thing at school back in Equestria, so I had quite the shock when the fire bell rang. It was really loud and it felt like the sound was vibrating deep in my skull. I almost thought those dreaded Sirens were back trying to take over again, but luckily Fluttershy set me straight.
Anyway as if the annoying Fire Bell blasting our eardrums was not bad enough, we then had to go stand outside for half an hour in the blazing heat, with nothing to do. After a while they finally turned off that wretched alarm, and told us we could all go back inside. Later I was told by Fluttershy that they made us go through drills like these to keep us safe. But I don’t really see how destroying our ears and making us roast outside is ever going to keep us safe from harm….
But all that aside it did get us out of algebra class (worst class ever next to P.E.) and the teacher did not bother given us any homework afterward either, so I guess the whole fire drill managed to do SOME good after all. I still think it’s just a petty annoyance we would be better without though.
…….Oh and since Flash won’t STOP BOTHERING ME OVER MY SHOULDER ABOUT IT, he says hi Twilight….
