“Mom, hi, we need to find a thing,” Cottoncandy said as his mom opened the door. Whirlwind was at his side, smiling brightly. 
“What thing?” Sundrop asked. 
“An important, secret thing,” Whirlwind said conspiratorially. 
“Um, okay,” Sundrop said, slightly confused. 
I’m not sure whether to find this funny of awkward, Whirly, Cottoncandy though.

Soon enough, the two were in Cottoncandy's old room, searching through the covers and under the bed. Finally, they found the stone carving, tucked in between the mattress and the wall. 

“Wo what should we do with this? Whirlwind asked. 
“I don’t know. Just keep it. That’s what I did with mine. Princess Celestia said that the truth would be revealed to us if we wait, so I guess that’s what we do.”
“Yeah, I guess you’re right, Candy,” Whirlwind said, smiling sweetly. Cottoncandy loved Whirly’s smile, it was sweet and full of what CS could only describe as pure sunshine.
