Brave 2


Night fell on the town of Appleloosa. Though the two Kyoryugers were victories in their battle they didn't come out of it unscathed. The two regrouped at Braeburn's house to tend to their minor injuries. The farmer had set two mugs of cider on the kitchen table as Lock used his magic to finish bandaging his right foreleg.

"Boy that was something crazy wasn't it," Braeburn said as he placed an ice bag on his head and took a sip from his mug." I guess we're going to have to get use to this sort of thing, hey partner."

Lockpick was silent as he chugged his drink down in one gulp."Yeah but I think we have bigger problems than just a few cuts and bruises."

"What do ya mean?" The farm pony asked.

The unicorn picked up the three Beast Batteries on the table with his magic. Two were his red batteries that he used in battle and one was the black one that Braeburn used. He looked to see that the pictures of the white reptile weren't there anymore."It looks like our Beast Batteries lost their power."

"So, Can't you recharge them with your magic or something?"

"I can't. I don't think this thing runs on magic."

"Well how are we going to fight those guys without them?"

The two were silent for a moment. Braeburn continued to drink his cider. Lock soon though back to his first encounter with Torin and the Spirit Base."I think I know where we can get this thing recharged."

"Really! Where?" Braeburn asked excitedly.

"In the Spirit Base," The gray stallion said. "I remember seeing a box with other batteries in it. That must be where they draw their power. Only problem is I don't even know how I got there in the first place."

"Well I haven't even been to this spirit place your talking about," The farm pony responded.

"If you haven't been to the Spirit Base, then how did you meet Torin?" Lock asked.

"It was about a week ago. I was working in the orchard when that Torin guy showed up. He told me about being a Kyoryuger and introduced me one of them Voltasaurs," Braeburn scratch the back of his head for a moment before an idea came into him. "I think I just thought of someone who might be able take us to that place you're talking about. Follow me."

The farm pony ran out of the house with the treasure hunter close behind. They soon came to the apple orchard. After running through the rows of trees they soon came to a stop in a clearing. Lockpick was surprised to find a large, black reptile in front of him . It's body looked similar Gabutyra but was smaller and it had a horn pointed back. "Lockpick, allow me to introduce you to my friend. Paaaarasagun."

Lock looked at the Voltasaur then at Braeburn. "Do you have to do that every time you make an introduction?"

"What do you mean?"

"Um-never mind," Lock said as his attention went back to Parasagun. "Do you think he can help?"

"Let's find out. Hay Parasagun!" Braeburn yelled. Parasagun lowered its head to have its red eyes meet the earth pony's."Can you help us find this thing called the Spirit Base?"

Parasagun nodded his head before turning around and lowered his tail to the two stallions. "I think he wants us to ride him." Braeburn said as he claimed on to the Voltasaur.

"Are you sure it's safe?" Lockpick said as he hesitated on to the tail. Braeburn didn't answer. As soon as the two were on the black Voltasaur jumped up and cleared the apple orchard. It then started to run out of the town and into the wasteland.

"YEEHAA! It's like bull riding at the rodeo," The farm pony yelled as he held his hat up in the air. Lock was terrified as he holding on for dear life. He was holding on to his scarf with his mouth to prevent it from flying away.

I'm gonna die. I gonna die. I'm gonna die.





In the ice castle the priest Chaos was still upset about their recent defeat from the Kyoryugers. "How could these weak ponies defeat one of us so easily?" He asked as Aigaron sat in the room, fixing his ax.

"Yes, it truly does bring a tear to my eye," The knight of sorrow said as he wiped a tear from his face. "And to think at one point we were able to cause an entire species to go extinct."

"I hate those Kyoryugers, unlucky," Luckyuro added.

All of a sudden a mass of green gas came into the room. The gas soon formed into a virus like creator. The creator had red devil accents on its body and held a trident. "I'm back everyone!"

"Viruson!? Long time no see. Where have you been!?" Aigaron said as he threw his ax to the side.

"Well since I wasn't frozen like all of you, I ended up buried somewhere in the Everfree," Viruson said as he wrapped his arm around Aigaron's shoulder." Good thing those three fillies relented me. And right when counting rocks started to get boring."

"Could counting rocks really be that fun?" Luckyuro asked.

"You'd be surprised," Viruson said. "Hey I got an idea. Why don't the two of us go and cause some mayhem?"

"Just like old times," Aigaron laughed as the two vanished from the room.



 

The sun just started to rise as Parasagun continued to run. Braeburn ended up falling asleep on the Voltasaur's back for an hour or two. Lockpick on the other hoof couldn't stop freaking out the entire time he held onto the tail. Eventually the group came to a cave in the side of a small mountain. Parasagun shook off Braeburn causing him to fall to the ground.

"Huh, what? Oh look at that, we're here," The earth pony said as he fixed his hat.

Parasagun then shook his tail until Lock loosened his grip and fell off as well. He stretched his legs to get rid of the stiffness that holding on for dear life caused. "It better be. That was terrifying."

"What? You don't have a Dino partner?"

"I do but I didn't get a chance to meet him formally," The unicorn said as he got to his hooves. Braeburn then waved goodbye to his partner as he ran back to wherever he was hiding. The two then walked around and entered the cave. Lockpick's horn began to light the way with a blue glow as they went deeper in the cave. They soon came to a dead end.

"This looks like a thing," Lock said. He took a closer look at circle with a design on it on the wall. It was clear to see that it was the same design as the one on their suites. He then took out his Gaburevolver and placed it on the stone wall. A green light soon washed over the two, blinding them. When they opened their eyes they found themselves in the Spirit Base.

"Wow! So this is Spirit Base," Braeburn said as he looked around in amazement.

"Greetings Kyoryugers," A familiar voice said. The two turned to find Torin next to the charge box greeting them. "I'm glad to formally welcome you to the Spirit Base. I knew that you would come here on your own."

"So this is like our secret base or something?" Lock asked.

"Yes, Here you can recharge your beast batteries as well as converse with your other teammates," The wise god explained. "You'd also be able to travel anywhere in Equestria from here."

"Well I'm happy we found this place when we did," Lock said as pulled out his two dead Beast Batteries and pleased them into the number 1 slots. The treasure hunter then yawned. "Now I need to get some sleep."  

As soon as he said that a gust of wind blew through the temple. "A Debo Monster is attacking!" Torin said. He then turned his attention to the stone table. As he pleased a talon on it an image of two monsters attacking a small village. Ponies were running as their foot soldiers attacked.

"Come on, we need to help them!" Braeburn said as he grabbed the tired unicorn by the scarf and pulled him to the stone platform they arrived on. In a flash of light the two vanished.





The town of Lily is a peaceful town on the side of a river. However today it was under attack by the Deboth army. Leading the charge was the pair of Aigaron and Viruson. As they attacked a blue energy came from the ponies who fled and flew into the stone face on Aigaron chest. "Oh, this is beautiful," The knight said as he wiped away a tear.

Viruson swung his spire and caused a blast of green energy. All the ponies ran as he laughed in delight. "I haven't had this much fun in years."

Soon Lockpick and Braeburn ran in front of the squad or of gray goons." Are you ready partner?" Braeburn asked as the two brought out their Gaburevolvers.

"Ready as I'll ever be," Lock responded as he held up his Beast Battery. They then pressed the button on the top and loaded it into the front.

"Brave In!"

"GABURINCHO!"

"Kyoryu change!" The two yelled as they pointed the guns skyward.

"Fire!"

They pulled the trigger. Their respective Dino heads fired out of the gun and flew behind them causing their battle suits to appear on them. "Now let's get wild!"

The two pulled out their Gabucalibers and charged at the monsters. They slashed through the Zorima. Kyoryu Black kept most of them busy as Red took on the one in the blue armor. He took his sword and brought it down only for it to be blocked by an ax.

“Wow. Your tougher than you look," Kyoryu Red said as he broke away. They continued to clash weapons.

Viruson was just leaning against his spear as he watched the battle. “I'm starting to get bored,” He said. He then turned his attention to a pony who was hiding behind a trash can. “Ah, this should be entertaining," He held up his hand as a ball of green slime formed. He took aim and threw it at the pony.

The Kyoryugers saw this and tried to break away from their fights to stop it, but it was too late. “Dang nabbit ya varmints!" Kyoryu Black said as charged the virus monster with his sword. However the smoke cleared to reveal that not only did the pony servive. But also that another pony had saved her. Standing in front of the pony was another Kyoryuger. He was an earth pony in a blue battle suit and he had silver spiky armor on his right foreleg. He was also holding a shield.

"Good thing I was here or that could have been messy," The blue fighter said in a goofy tone. He then jumped up in to the air towards Viruson. "Stego Shield Punch!" He yelled out as he slammed the shield into the monster. The monster fell back as the Kyoryuger regrouped with the others.

"Thanks, we really appreciate the save there," Kyoryeru Black said.

"No problem," Blue replied.

"Hey do you mind telling us where you got that shield," Red asked.

"Oh that's easy. Just put another battery into the Gaburevolver then run it along your right leg."

The two just looked at each other and shrugged before pulling out another Beast Battery.

"Brave In!" After yelling the two did what the blue ranger said.

"GABRURINCHO!"

"ARMOR ON!"

"VAMOLA MUCHO!"

After the armor formed the two found their new weapons in their hooves. Kyoryu Red's was what looked to be a boxing glove that looked like Gabutyra's head and Kyoryu Black's was a bow gun. The red ranger ran back into the fight with Aigaron. He blocked an attack with his weapon before delivering a series of punches."Gabutyra Fang!"

Viruson blasted the other two with green energy but all of his shots were blocked by Blue's shield. He then jumped out of the way as Black aimed his bow gun."Parasa Shot!" He yelled as he blasted the monster.

"I think it's time to retreat!" The knight of sorrow said. Viruson nodded as he released a cloud of green smoke. When it cleared the two were gone.

"Thanks again." Kyoryu Red said.

"No problem. Oh, I forgot to intruded myself." Kyoryu Blue said as he pulled out his Gaburevolver and popped out the Beast Batteries. When the suit disappeared the fighter was revealed to be an orange stallion with a brown curly mane. He wore a yellow collared shirt and his cutie mark was a cross between a accordion and a grilled cheese sandwich. He raised both his hooves in the air to make his introduction. "My name is Cheese Sandwich. Party Planner Extraordinaire."

“Hey, I remember you,” Braeburn said as he and Lock undid their transformation . “You’re that pony that threw that party in Appleloosa a few months ago.”

“Yeah and you’re Braeburn," Cheese said as he looked at him and then to the gray pony. “But I don’t know who you are.”

“Well my name is Lockpick and…” However he was interrupted when the orange earth pony took his hoof and shook it vigorously.

“I’m always happy to meet new ponies. And I can't believe that you are superheroes like me,” When Cheese Sandwich let go of his hoof Lock’s head was spinning.

“Let’s get back to the Spirit Base before I pass out due to lack of sleep," The gray pony said as his eyes stopped going in circles.



      

When the three returned to the Spirit Base Lockpick had fallen asleep on a lounge chair. Braeburn and Cheese Sandwich were exploring the rest of the temple. They were able to find that it had sleeping quarters, a kitchen, and a working shower. "Wow! This place is amazing."

"I'm glad the accommodations are to your liking," Torin said.

The party pony ran up to the spirit in an instant. "And I'm glad to finally get to meet you Torin. You are exactly how Stegotchi described," He said as looked around the room.

“Wait, you can talk to your dino partner?” Braeburn asked.

“Oh yeah,” Cheese replied. “He tells the funniest jokes.”

"Well I'm just glad we found ya," Braeburn said as he sat at the stone table." Now we only need to find the other two. That green guy and the other one."

"Wait there’s others?" The party pony asked as he came face to face with the stallion.

"Yeah. From what Torin told us there's five of us."

"That is awesome! I can't wait to meet them."

All of a sudden a gust of wind blew through the ruins. "Viruson is attacking again."

After hearing that Cheese snuck up behind Lock. "Lock it's time to wake up!" He yelled as the unicorn fell off the lounge chair.

"WHAT!?" Lock yelled in anger.

"Come on. We have ponies to save," Cheese said as he joined Braeburn on the altar."That is if you want us to leave you behind."

"I'm coming. I'm coming."





Viruson and a group of Zorima were destroying the town. Ponies screamed as green slime was thrown everywhere."There’s no way  those Kyoryugers are going to stop me."

Soon the three stallions ran up behind the Debo monster. "Ready Guys!?" Lock said as he pulled out his Gaburevolver.

"Ready!" The other two said as all three pulled out the Beast Batteries.

"Brave In!

"GABRURINCHO!GABUTYRA!"

"PRARASGUN!"

"STEGOTCHI!"

"KyoryuChange!" The three then spun the cylinder. When the tune came out of the gun, Cheese Sandwich began to spin and dance. The two just looked at him.

"What?" The earth pony asked. "it's a catchy tune." The other two just looked at each other before they decided to join in to the dance.

"Fire!"

They then pulled the triggers and transformed into their Kyoryuger form." All right Lock. It's time to make our intro," Kyoryu Blue said.

"Um. Right," Kyoryu Red said. He then struck a pose and started the roll-call. "Hear us roar! The Fanged Hero! Kyoryu Red!"

"The Hot-shot Hero! Kyoryu Black!"

"The Armored Hero! Kyoryu Blue!"

"The bravest warriors in history!" Red yelled as all three slammed the ground "Zyuden Sentai!"

"Kyoryuger!!!"

"Now let's get wild."

Black spun around and shot the grunts with his gun. "Ha! Y'all are no challenge at all," The farm pony said as took one of the gray goons by the head, bringing him to the ground."I can do this with my eyes closed," He then kicked one of them with his back legs.

The armored hero popped up behind a flower cart. "Over here seaweed head," A Zorima ran and destroyed the cart. "No. Over here," he was now leaning against a lamp post. The Zorima swung his weapon again but in a second the ranger was gone. The solder then turned around and found him holding what looked to be a mix of the Gabucaliber and the Gaburevolver. He pulled back the pump and aimed it.

"VAMOLA!"

He fired the weapon. A large shot of energy came out of the barrel and hit the Zorima. "Whoops. Too slow."

Kyoryu Red went for Viruson with his sword. He delivered a few slashes, sending the monster back a little. "If you think it going to be that easy, think again," Viruson said as he spat out a green slime on to Kyoryu Red's black visor. "I'm one of the three who caused the dinosaurs to go extinct," He then kicked the blinded unicorn. He held the trident in the air, ready the finish the pony. "This is the end!"

"VAMOLA!"

Several pink shots hit the monster, interrupting his attack. "What is it now?"

"Prepare yourself," A female voice said. Red managed get to wipe away the slime to see that it was a unicorn in a pink Kyoryuger outfit. She even had a skirt that covered part of her rear end. "I am the horned heroine who fights evil by the light of the moon," She then stood up to strike a pose. "I am the Great Kyoryu Pink!"

"Doesn't matter who you are. You're not going to stop me," Viruson said. The pink pony let out a few shots as she came closer to the fallen warrior.

"Hey! Are you alright?" The two unicorns turned to see the rest of the team.

"Yeah. Thanks to her," Red responded as he pointed to the other Kyoryuger.

"Okay then. Let's finish this," Kyoryu Black said as they all pulled out their swords. They all took a Beast Battery out of their belt buckles.

"Brave In!"

All of them put the battery into the sword and pulled back the pump. Their blades began to glow in their respected colors.

"Zyuden Brave Slash!"

All four of them swung their swords and a slash of energy flew towards the monster. When they hit their target Viruson was destroyed.

"Woo wee! We shore taught him," Black said.

"I know, and we also have a new friend too," Blue added.

"No no no no no no," The mare said as she held up a hoof. "The Great Kyoryu Pink works alone." Her horn began to glow and a puff of smoke covered her body. When it cleared she vanished.

"What is with these ponies?" Braeburn said as he undid the transformation.

"I don't know, but I think this team is going to come together real soon," Lock said as he looked up into the sky.

Let's see what treasures this new life has for me.





"I can't believe they defeated Viruson."  Aigaron cried, wiping tears off his face. "And we were having so much fun."

Luckyuro trying to comfort the knight the best she could. "Don't worry Aigaron. We'll get them next time."

"What makes you say that?"

Luckyuro opened the coin pouch that made up the lower half of her body and pulled out a jack-o-lantern shaped watering can.

"And where has that been this hole time?" Aigaron asked in anger.

"A lot of things got lost when we got frozen," Luckyuro replied." I'm still trying to find the blender."

"Oh yeah, I've been meaning to ask about that."
