“I am really sorry about this Dexter.” Celestia said, walking down the path toward Ponyville. The sun and moon shifted almost constantly above them.
“It’s fine Celestia, it’s not like I was doing anything anyway,” Dexter said, waving a hand to dismiss her apologies. “This the place?” he asked, looking at the town, which had buildings floating upside down.
“Yes, Discord came here after he beat the elements.” Celestia said with a sigh. “I should have done more.”
“It’ll be ok Tia, now let’s go do this.”Dexter said, a smile on his face. They walked into Ponyville, gazing up at the sky as pink clouds rained down chocolate milk on a few unfortunate ponies.
“Ah there you Tia,” Discord spoke up, sitting on a throne, surrounded by the Elements Of Harmony, who had all turned grey.
“Discord, you may have beaten my student and the Elements but you can’t beat us.” Celestia declared, glaring at the lord of chaos.
“Without your precious Elements you can’t beat me,” Discord taunted, a smirk on his face.” I mean really Celestia, you seriously thought a hairless monkey could beat me?”
“No,” she admitted with a growing smirk. “ But Freakazoid can.” she said, winking at Dexter.
“Freakout!” the human shouted, electricity dancing on his body. His skin became blue, his clothes replaced with a red jumpsuit with a black circle on the chest which contained a yellow ‘F’ and an exclamation point. His feet had white boots while his hands had white gloves. To finish off the look, a black face mask appeared on his face, just as his hair became black, a white streak going through it.
“OH my goodness!” the strange creature shouted, cracking his back. “I wish Dexter would let me out more! The Freakazone doesn’t get cable anymore.” he said before turning to Celestia.” Oh hi Sunbutt.” he said waving at her.
“Hello Freakazoid.” the solar diarch said, a smile on her face.
“Ahem, chaos lord over here!” Discord said, a frown on his face.” Celestia I don’t know what game you playing but you won't win.”
“OOH OOOH! I love games can we play a game please?!” Freakazoid shouted, somehow having gotten onto Discord lap, grabbing the chaos lords head, giving it a shake.
“Get off me!” Discord shouted, trying to shake the lunatic off.
“Oh boy, it’s like riding a bull!” Freakazoid declared, climbing onto Discord’s head, holding onto his horns as he thrashed about. “Ride em’ Cowboy!”
“Wait what am I doing?” Discord asked, snapping his fingers, the blue annoyance appearing in front of him. “You think you can out chaos me boy?”
“How dare you!?” Freakazoid shouted, getting into Discord’s face, pointing a finger at him. “Do you see a smile on that ponies face?!” he asked, vanishing in a blur, appearing behind Pinkie, lifting her up. “Look at her, she’s all frowny face. What have you done you monster!? Ooooh is that a bear holding a shark!?”
Discord just blinked, turning around, not seeing any bear or any shark. “Alright is is getting old! Now hold still while I destroy you!” Discord roared, looking for Freakazoid.
Taking advantage of Freakazoid’s distraction, Celestia moved over to Twilight, a smile on her face. “It’s ok Twilight, with Freakazoid’s help, we’ll beat Discord.”
“Whats the point? I don’t have any friends anymore... “ the unicorn responded, looking at the ground.
Celestia just smiled, touching her horn to Twilight’s, casting a memory spell.
“Huh? What!?” Twilight shouted as her color returned to her.
“Good your back. We must hurry, Freakazoid will only be able to hold off Discord for so long.” Celestia said, returning Twilight’s element to her head.
“Will you hold still!?” Discord shouted, throwing a cow at the annoying creature, who was running with his arms held out, making strange whooshing noise as he ran.
“Hey Dissy, can I call you Dissy?, you gotta snaggletooth!” Freakazoid called out, blowing a raspberry at the chaos lord, who roared in anger. Discord summoned up an elephant, bringing it down on Freakazoid over and over again, seething in rage. After a few moments of this, he stopped, breathing heavily.
“Hi!”
Discord yelped, jumping up, his eyes wide and his heart throbbing. Standing below him was Freakazoid, unscathed, waving at him.
“B-but how... ?” Discord asked weakly, his left eye twitching.
“I dug a hole.” Freakazoid said nonchalantly, pointing over his shoulder, where there was a large hole in the ground. Discord stared at it for a long while before gripping his horns, letting out a long scream of frustration.
“I can’t believe we let that varmint change us like that.” AJ said, a frown on her muzzle.
“It’s not your fault Applejack, Discord tricked us all.”Twilight comforted her friend. With Celestia’s help, she had returned her friends to normal and now were on their way to imprison Discord once more.
“I hope that creature is alright,” Fluttershy spoke up, catching the others attention. “Discord looked really really mad.”
“There is no need to worry my little ponies, if I know Freakazoid, he’s doing just fine.” Celestia said, giving the smaller mares a warm smile. The group came to a stop a few moments later, staring in shock at what they saw: Discord curled up into a blubbering mess, Freakazoid running in circles around him, making those strange noises again.
“Oh thank Faust Celestia!” Discord shouted, exploding into confetti, only to reappear in front of the princess.” Please make him stop, please! I’ll do anything, just make him stop!” he begged, much to the Elements surprise.
“I believe that is you cue.” Celestia said with a smirk, winking at Twilight. Twilight blinked before nodding, motioning for the others to activate their Elements. One blast of rainbows laters and Discord was a statue again, a relieved look on his rocky face.
“Woo hoo taste the rainbow!” Freakazoid shouted from behind the mares, causing them to jump.
“Thank you dear Freakazoid, I knew I could count on you.” Celestia said, giving him a smile.
“No worries sunbutt, we haven’t been busy since the show got cancelled.” he said, smiling back.
“Yes well, it is time for you to go home now.”
“Ok, tell Lulu I said hi!” he said striking a pose as Celestia cast her spell, the craze blue hero vanishing in a flash of white.
“Just who was that weirdo?” Rainbow Dash asked, looking at the princess.
“That my dear Rainbow Dash was Freakazoid, and the reason why it’s a very bad idea to cram the sum knowledge of a civilization into a single being.” she said, looking off into the distance.
That my friends is how Freakazoid beat Discord by simply annoying him.
