"Hi! Everypony Shady Pony here in my pony form now your probably wondering why I'm here in Ponyville instead of writing well I'll tell you. I was at home on my computer just writing without a care in the world when all of a sudden a thought came to my mind, that I needed to check the videos on my phone. Why did I need to do this I can honestly tell you I still haven't got a clue but I did and guess what I came a cross? Go ahead guess........ On second thought that might be a little more complicated than I had intended. Oh well it doesn't matter if you have a guess great, if you don't its ok I'm going to tell you anyway. I came a cross my cousin's ice bucket challenged video that I helped do (I poured the ice on him) and this made me think, why hasn't anyone ask the mane six to do the ice bucket challenged! So I'm doing it! I challenged Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie to the ice bucket challenge! I wish you girls the best of luck and have fun, also you have twenty four hours before you fail. Haha! Have fun."

"And that's where it finishes." Twilight said, finishing the letter.
"So this Shady Pony has challenged all six of us to this ice bucket challenge right?" Applejack asked.
"Yeah all of us have to do it." Twilight said, looking at her friends she saw Rarity was the only one with a worried look on her face. "Rarity are you ok?"
"This challenged involves us get splashed with a bucket of water correct?" Rarity ask still worried.
"Water filled with ice to be exact but yes, why? Is that a pro... Oh your mane." Twilight said, understanding now what Rarity was worried about.
"Yes dear, I rather not get my mane wet again." Rarity said, holding her mane. "That one time at your slumber party was more than enough. I rather not repeat that experience"
"But it's for a good cause Rarity." Fluttershy said, in her quiet demeanor.
"Well..." Rarity started rethinking he decision.
"Come Rarity it will be fun!" Pinkie Pie yelled, jumping in the air. In her usual pinkie manner.
"Getting my mane wet isn't what I consider fun dear but if it's for a good cause I guess I can turn the other hoof." Rarity puffed after finishing that sentence. "So when do we start?"
"I'd say we get it started now." Rainbow Dash said excited for this challenged, she flew up and got ready to fly. "Lets go!"
Before Rainbow Dash could fly away Applejack bit down on her tail and brought her back down.
"Whoa there Sugarcube, we don't know where we're going to do it, how we're going to do this, or how much ice we'll be needing' for all of us." Applejack explained, getting a annoyed reaction out of Rainbow Dash.
"Than how the hay are we going to do this?" Rainbow Dash asked wanting to get started already.
"Well I'm not sure." Applejack admitted, she looked at Twilight. "Twi you got any ideas?"
"For once no, I mean I've got one idea." Twilight said, not wanting to admit that she had barely came up with this idea and how unoriginal it was.
"What is it Twilight?" Fluttershy ask, finally getting in on the conversation.
"We could all stand in a line while me and Rarity use are magic to levitate six buckets of ice water over us, we'll than drop the water on ourselves. Twilight explained to her friends.
Fluttershy and Applejack seemed ok with the idea simple and not overly complicated just the way they preferred it, Rarity still didn't like the idea of getting her mane wet again but it was for a good cause so she'd sucked up her beauty principals for this, after all she could always complain tomorrow, however Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie had disappointing and disapproving looks on their faces, as they where not to keen on playing it simple, safe, and unoriginal. To them they could do better and they "would" do better.
"No offense Twilight but that's pretty lame." Rainbow Dash said, in her nonchalant tone.
"Yeah and boring to." Pinkie Pie added as she got in the middle of the group, becoming the center of attention which is exactly what she wanted "I've got a better more fun idea!"
The end of that sentence gave everypony except for Rainbow Dash, a concerned look. Pinkie Pie was their friend but they knew how Pinkie could take simple things and add her own Pinkie "mix" to it as she would say but they knew that meant taking it to the extreme, they still remembered the Maud Pie fiasco. This didn't bother Rainbow Dash as she could handle almost anything Pinkie Pie came up and would willingly participate in it.
"Umm sugarcube what exactly do you have planned?" Applejack asked breaking the silence.
"Oh you'll see when I'm done." Pinkie Pie said not giving her friends anymore information.
"Don't you think it be better to tell us Pinkie." Fluttershy said, still a little worried.
"It's more fun for the readers when it's a surprise." Pinkie Pie said gaining confused looks from her friends.
"What readers darling?" Rarity asked the question they where all thinking.
"No time for chitchat time is of the essences, wait for me at Sugarcube corner." And with the end of that sentence Pinkie Pie took off leaving her five friends confused.
"I'm usually all for Pinkie Pie's crazy shenanigans." Rainbow Dash said, gaining the attention of the others. "But did we actually agree to do whatever the hay she's got planned?"
"I think Pinkie already decided for us." Twilight said as she looked off into the distance that Pinkie Pie took of to.
(An hour and a half later)
"Ugh we've been here for half an hour already." Rainbow Dash complained.
"Pinkie said to wait for her here." Fluttershy said, taking another sip of her drink.
"Yeah Rainbow just sit back and be patient." Applejack said taking a bit of her cupcake. "Besides isn't being lazy your best thing? Besides flying."
"The correct term is relaxing and yes I am but time is running out. I don't want to fail this challenged especially if it's for a good cause." Rainbow Dash said, pacing back and forward. "What the hay is taking Pinkie Pie!"
"Really Twilight what could possibly take Pinkie so long." Rarity asked, becoming impatient as well.
"Look girls I know we all want to do this challenge already but until Pinkie Pie comes back there's not much we can do." Twilight said, hoping she could keep her friends patient a little longer, it worked as they all sat down. "Now we'll wait for a –”
"Lets go!" Pinkie Pie yelled, interrupting Twilight.
"Pinkie? What the –” Twilight didn't get to finish because Pinkie Pie stuffed her hoof in her mouth.
"No time. Need to go to the lake now." Was all Pinkie Pie said before running out the door.
The others chased after her, now even more confused than before but they hoped Pinkie Pie would explain what she had planned for all of them. When they finally reached the lake, they saw Pinkie Pie and her older sister Maud Pie right next to her, waiting for them to finally arrive.
"Finally you guys made it." Pinkie Pie said, bouncing in excitement.
The girls took a minute to catch their breath. When they had all regain their energy they looked up at their friend and her sister.
"Alright Pinkie I believe and explanation is in order also, why is Maud here?" Twilight asked, having enough of Pinkie's secrets.
"Hi everypony." Maud said in her usual emotionless tone.
"She's part of the plan silly." Pinkie Pie said letting out a small giggle.
"What is your plan any way?" Applejack asked.
"Oh right Maud go on ahead and head to your rock." Pinkie pie instructed to her sister."
"Alright." Maud said, walking away.
"And don't forget your umbrella!" Pinkie Pie yelled to Maud, who raised a hoof to show her umbrella.
"Pinkie Pie why does Maud need a umbrella?" Fluttershy asked.
"To help us with our challenged silly." Pinkie Pie said as she patted Fluttershy's head.
"And what's with that rock." Rarity asked, noticing. the rock that was about the same size as the one she saw as a filly.
"It's also going to help with our challenged." Pinkie Pie said.
"Oh for Celestia's sake, Can you tell us already what your plan is!" Rainbow Dash yelled, her patience had run out.
"Alright, go ahead and throw it Maud!" Pinkie Pie yelled to her sister, who threw the rock high up. The mane six watched as the rock disappeared from view, a few seconds later they heard the sound of a giant splash.
"Pinkie, what's going on?" Twilight asked, a little worried.
"Oh well Rainbow Dash, do remember that one time when Maud threw that rock and made a big splash of water come down on all three of us?" Pinkie Pie said, looking at Rainbow Dash.
"Yeah?" Rainbow Dash answered, not sure where Pinkie Pie was getting at.
"Well I thought that if our ice bucket challenged was going to be original it needed a little flair. So I brought Maud to do that again but this time with a bigger rock to make the splash a lot bigger." Pinkie Pie explained with a smile on her face.
"But Pinkie even if that does work there's no ice in that water." Rainbow Dash knew that is was going to work, she just didn't want to panic in front of her friends but she was actually worried for what was to come next.
"Oh I filled it all with ice already." Pinkie said smiling.
"WHAT!" All the ponies yelled.
"Yeah what did you think I was doing for a hour and a half." Pinkie Pie asked.
Before any of the girls could say anything else to Pinkie, they saw a giant shadow rising. Looking up they saw in horror the giant wave of water filled with ice rising up. Maud Pie opened her umbrella as she waited for the water to come down. Looking down she saw her sister excited for what was coming while her friends panicked.
"PINKIEEEE!" The girls yelled out.
"Alright Shady Pony you've nominated us and now we've completed your challenged." Pinkie Pie said before the water came down on her and her friends.
The giant ice water wave came down on all them. The feeling of the icy water going through their bodies was more than enough to make them struggle like cats in water, Pinkie on the other hand was just swimming around like a gold fish. It didn't take long before the wave had finished, the girls emerged from the lake gasping for air, coughing, and shivering. Pinkie Pie emerged standing on top of a log.
"THAT WAS AMAZING!" Pinkie Pie yelled as she started moving on it in a log rolling fashion. "Wait to go Maud! Best throw ever!"
She yelled to Maud who put down her umbrella, revealing that she managed to stay dry.
Well we did it girls we completed the challenged." Applejack said, after spitting out some ice.
"Yay." Fluttershy said quietly, floting on her back through the lake as she waited for the world to stop spinning.
"I'm all for a good cause but I think I'm going to stay away from ice and water for the next three days." Rarity said, swimming towards the shore.
"Awe-some? I... Whoa ugh... We didn't fail." Rainbow Dash said, being the only one to make it to land she tried to keep her balance but eventually fell down.
"We'll their you have it Shady Pony we completed your challenge." Twilight said before she fell back into the water.
"And don't forget everypony to help out with the cause in anyway you can. This was really fun right girls?" Pinkie Pie looked towards. her friends,they all let out a groan. "Enjoy the rest of your day everypony!"
