Celestia and Luna were sitting in the throne room at Canterlot castle one evening, when Celestia asks one of her servants to bring her bananas to eat, Luna wanted to find out why her sister was addicted to the yellow fruit.
"Tia?" Luna said, looking over to her sister that was drinking a banana milkshake.
"Yes?" Celestia replied, taking the straw from her milkshake out her mouth. Luna looked over at her sister before she continued her question.
"Why do you like bananas?" Luna asked, pointing to the bowl of bananas at Celestia's feet. Quickly, Celestia hid the bowl behind her throne and acted like the conversation never happened.
"I don't like bananas, what are you talking about Luna?" Celestia said, trying to hide her guilt. Luna looked into her sister's eyes, she wanted to find the answer and she wanted to find out now.
"Why did you ask?" Celestia continued, quickly shoving a peeled banana into her mouth and smiling at her younger sister. Luna shook her head to check if this was real. Sadly, it was.
"Just curious," Luna said, sitting back in her throne and taking out a book. Celestia looked at the book that she was reading, The Big Book of Bananas.
Celestia grabbed the book from her sister and began reading, making her mouth water. Luna sat there, waiting for her sister to tell her everything.
Luna had an idea, an idea that would work so well, everypony would use it time and time again. So the mare got up from her throne, walked out the room and went off to the library to borrow some books for Celestia.
"Ugh, where is it?" Luna said, looking though the B section of the library. She scanned top to bottom and couldn't find much. But as she was just about leave, something caught Luna's eye.
"Found it!" Luna exclaimed, grabbing the pile of books all about bananas. They were in the corner, hidden from Celestia. Because really, she never visits the library anyway.
Luna trotted out the room and returned to her throne. She handed the books to Celestia and she began to read them.
Luna sat down and watched as her sister was pulled into a trance, of bananas. And she waited for the moment, when she would ask her question again.
She sat and waited for her moment to ask. She sat for a few minutes, because she knew that her sister may snap out of it at any second. So just then, Luna decided to make her move.
"Celestia, why do you like bananas so much?" Luna asked, hoping that her sister would answer.
"Ahhhhllllulululllllooooollllllllaaaaahhhhhhh,"'Celestia replied, staring at the book of bananas.
Luna handed another book to her sister and she began to read it. Luna giggled at the sight of her sister and got the guards attention to show them too, and they found it quite funny as well.
"Bananananananazzzzzzzzzz," Celestia said, as Luna sat and watched her sister while trying not to laugh her butt off.
"So Tia, why do you like bananas so much?" Luna asked again, sitting waiting and trying to not laugh.
"Allllllaaauuuuuuyyyyeeeeeeerruuuuuoooooooolllll," Celestia replied, falling off her throne and rolling down the stairs.
"Luna, maybe you should enter her dreams at night and ask her then?" One of the guards suggested to Luna.
"Thanks, I'll do that later," Luna replied, as she flew off to her room on the other side of the castle.

Night approached and Celestia got out of her trance of bananas. The two sisters went to bed, Luna was about to go forward with her plan.
"Right, I'm gonna find out why she really does like bananas," Luna said to herself, sneaking into Celstia's room.
Luna's horn started to glow with her aura of midnight blue, and entered Celestia's dreams.

"Wow, it's really bright in here," Luna said, opening her eyes and seeing a white, endless space all around her. Luna saw a figure walking towards her, it was Celestia.
"Why do you like bananas Celestia?" Luna asked for the final time, desperate for an answer. Celestia pointed to the white space and front of her and told her to go forward to see the answer..
Luna walked on and began seeing pictures of Celestia and bananas. But at the end there was a picture of Celestia with the royal doctor, and it looked like there was a poster on the wall saying Ban Bananas; They Kill.
Luna just stood there, and looked back at Celestia - and walked on.
More pictures were shown, Celestia was banned from having bananas because of something inside them that made them addictive. Luna now understood why she wasn't allowed them years ago, but why does she like them now?

Luna watched as the pictures on the walls told the story of why Celestia was addicted to bananas.
When Celestia was away in the Crystal Empire with Princess Cadence, they went to a Milkshake Bar and got milkshakes. But they were all out of flavours, all but one - The banana milkshake.
Princess Celestia ordered the banana milkshake and Cadence got the ice cream sandwich from the menu. But after Celestia finished the milkshake, she kept ordering more and more and more of it.
Finally, after Celestia got home, she realised that some ingredients in a banana were addictive for alicorns. Celestia had never told anyone ever since. And she keeps eating bananas to this day.
Luna just stood there, feeling like she was fading away..
And she was..
"Oh no, Tia's waking up!" Luna exclaimed, as her horn lit up and she came out of Celstia's dreams. Luna stood in front of her sister's bed and acted like nothing happened.

"Luna, I had the weirdest dream, I was showing somepony my memories and why I'm addicted to bananas," Celestia said, sitting up from her bed.
