Twilight woke to the sounds of rain hitting the dark green grass, as she lifted her head to take in her surroundings, but the thick, misty fog stopped her from doing so. "Ugh...... Where am I?..." Twilight asked, to nopony in particular. 


Back above the thick trees, Nightmare Moon was circling Celestia, who had a look of shock upon her face.


"Twilight?...." Celestia said... Unable to form words, as she just witnessed her beloved former student Twilight Sparkle, get shot, and fall to her almost certain death....

"Hahahahahahah!!!" Are you shocked!!" Haha!" Nightmare moon laughed loudly, echoing throughout the land. 

"How dare you..... How dare you!" Celestia's face changed from shocked to angry. 


"Ooooh, someponies angry!" Nightmare yelled, half laughing. 

"Take this!!!!" Celestia yelled, firing a blast of golden magic straight for Nightmare Moon.

"Gah!!!" Nightmare yelled, the magic slicing through her swirling, indigo blue mane. 
"Ah, finally, your ready to fight, I've been waiting forever for this moment, come fight me, foal..!" Nightmare said. Readying herself to fight, as she beckoned Celestia to come forth and fight her. 

"You hurt my beloved student, Twilight Sparkle, and now you shall pay for you actions!!!" Celestia screamed, gritting her teeth angrily.
"You will pay!!!" She yelled once again. 

"Well then, prove your strength to me, and we will see who will rule Equestria from this night forth!!" Hahaha!" Nightmare said, grinning evilly. 

"Take THIS!!!!" Celestia yelled, shooting a thick beam of gold light at the Nightmare that stood before her. 

"Nice try, you little FOAL!!!" Nightmare retorted, as her horn began to glow extremely bright. "It's time to end you, forever!!!!!!!" Hahahahahahah!!!!!!" Her horn continued getting brighter, and brighter, until it flashed black. "Nightmare Moon was straining to keep powering the spell, but she had to continue. 

Once she was done, Nightmare smiled evilly, before struggling to contain the spell, as she aimed for Celestia's left wing, and fired. 

"Gahhhhh!!!!" Celestia was caught off guard as she was pulled from her flight, and fell towards the ground, a loud thunk as she hit the grass below. 

"Hahahahahahahahhahahahaha!!!" I shall now rule, all of Equestria!!!!!""" Hahaha!!!" Nightmare yelled, as she left Celestia behind, and flew off towards Canterlot Castle.
