Fluttershy and Twilight were running for a while, but Fluttershy was too fast for Twilight. Twilight stopped running and started looking around. "How curious..." Is this a new part of Equestria I don't know about? Or is this another world? Maybe a little walk around here will give me some answers. So Twilight started looking around the area not knowing she was being followed by what appears to be two ponies, wearing the same outfit. One whispered to the other. "YOU'RE BEGINNIN' BACKWARDS," the other replied out loud. This made Twilight turn to them. She was a bit surprised to find out that it was Apple Dazzle and an older Apple Bloom. But that was not what they called themselves. Twilight Sparkle then decided to see who they called themselves. Their names were Tweedle Dazzle and Tweedle Bloom. She finally said, "Hello there."
"Hi! How do ya do?" they replied.
"I'm doing pretty well right now." Twilight managed to give a nice smile. "You must not be from around here," Dazzle said. "Stay for a while. We can do lots of things!" Bloom finished.
"I was looking for a friend, she seemed late for something."
"Curious, isn't it?" asked Bloom. "Tsk, tsk, tsk. I remembered what happened to the last ones who were."
"Huh? What do you mean?" asked Twilight, confused.
"Well we can't tell you without breaking into song. But I'll do it for you," replied Dazzle. She and Bloom cleared their throats. Twilight sat on a log to watch what the two would then do.
"Everypony gather around
I'll tell you a story of something now
We hope you stay for a while
so we can show you how.
You see there was a Walrus and a Carpenter
they were walking close at hand
the beach was wide and spread for a mile
but there was a lot of sand."
"That doesn't seem right..." Twilight said. "Indeed," replied Bloom.
"If this was all cleared away
They said, it would be grand.
If seven maids with seven mops
swept it for half a year,
do you suppose -the Walrus said-
that they could get it clear?
I doubt it, said the Carpenter
and he shed a bitter tear."
Dazzle looked at Twilight. "It gets worse."
"Oysters come and walk with us,
the Walrus did beseech,
a pleasant walk, a pleasant talk,
along the briny beach!
We cannot do with more than four
to give a hand to each.
Four young oysters hurried up,
all eager for the treat:
their coats were brushed,
their faces were washed,
their shoes were clean and neat."
"But, oysters don't have feet!" Twilight interjected. Bloom and Dazzle nodded. "Strange, isn't it!?"
"So they walked for a mile or so...
and then rested on a rock conveniently LOW.
The four just stood their waiting in a single row.
The Time Has Come, the Walrus said,
to think of other things,
of shoes and ships and sealing wax,
cabbages and kings!
And why the sea is boiling hot
and whether pigs have wings...
STOP!" Bloom then looked up, sighed, and then sang solo.
"A loaf of bread is what we chiefly need,
Pepper and Vinegar besides are very good indeed--
NOW IF YOU'RE READY OYSTERS DEAR WE CAN BEGIN to FEED!!!"
Twilight, Bloom, and Dazzle then said in unison, "HOW DREADFUL!"
"Of course as we all know, those four poor oysters were tricked so badly--" Bloom started. "--it is too horrible to say! But the curiosity got the better of them, and was the end of that," Dazzle finished.
Twilight Sparkle got scared from this long tale. Dazzle and Bloom apologized and said, "It was just a heads up..." Twilight got up and said, "don't worry about it girls, I needed to know that if I am to be in this crazy place. I'll see you two later." Twilight then walked off without another word. Now where could Fluttershy be? I wonder where she is...
