Twilight Sparkle hesitated for a moment, not sure about what to do, before she jumped into the water and swam after Fluttershy. "Um... are you heading for dry land?" Fluttershy asked.

Twilight nodded. "Yeah, do you think you can help?"

"Sure...! Stay with me. Oh, um, my name's Rabbitshy by the way..."

That's a really odd name, Twilight thought to herself. Why would she have a name like that? The two swam for what felt like two or three minutes before finding anypony else there. It was Shining Star swimming with somepony in the form of Derpy Hooves. "We might almost be there thanks to you my friend." Derpy smiled from what she heard. Shining Star then suddenly looked at Twilight and said, "TWILIGHT!?"

Derpy replied, "You know that pony?"

"Yeah. The two of us lived in the same area!"

"LOVE!" Derpy yelled out and then laughed. "Ignore her," Fluttershy said, disgusted. "She is sort-of like a joker sometimes..."

"I can tell," Twilight replied. "What is it like here?"

"Well, um... I guess you can say you will never know what would happen next... Expect the unexpected here is my advice around here..." Soon enough, the reached the shore. Fluttershy and Shining Star looked at their wet tails. "How are we gonna dry off?" somepony asked, reaching the shore. Another pony said, "Yeah, this is so not good for my health," and sneezed on a third pony. "Ew! Gross!" Derpy suddenly got up on a rock and said, "Everypony relax! There is one way to get dry here!"

"You don't mean--?"

"A Caucus Race! Yes!" Twilight and Fluttershy just looked at each other. Shining Star was the first to get excited, "A race? Really?! This should be so interesting!" He got a few other ponies hyped-up for it. "Everypony set!" Derpy said as flags rose from the sand. Twilight went to one, Fluttershy went to another, Shining Star, went to the flag in between them, and the other three ponies took the remaining three. Twilight thought, Just follow Shining Star, and you'll be alright. Derpy got out a whistle.

TWEEEEEEET! "Go!" The six ponies ran to each flag in order. Shining Star decided not to pass anypony nor go at his top speed. Was he purposely doing that? Derpy could only see a streak of red for where Shining Star would be. Fluttershy looked back at him once or twice and got a strange feeling about him. Twilight Sparkle sighed knowing what she was thinking.

Derpy then said, "Feelin' a little less wet?" Shining Star shook his head. "From top to bottom I feel as though I did not dry one bit. Well, we can make an exception for the tail, but still."

"It's probably because you aren't running as fast as normal," Twilight muttered.

"You know me way too well for my own good."

Fluttershy then sped off like a cheetah. (She is still late.) Twilight then followed. Shining Star stayed with the group saying, "Not yet! Floor it!" He and the other three sped up a bit more. If anypony asks what I was doing, I'll say I had Gone Racin'! He squeed happily.
