The Command Centre, a high-tech facility out on an island near the city of Harwood, California, could be described as the safest place in the world. No one could access it without being a legendary hero called a Super Megaforce Power Ranger. These people had not only the power to morph into costumed heroes, but also access to the powers of every Power Rangers team from the past and at a pinch could summon giant vehicles called Zords and combine them into a huge robot called a Megazord. The six Rangers were currently talking to each other inside the Command Centre.
"Rangers" said Gosei, the protege of the interdimensional being and mentor to the first team of Power Rangers Zordon. Gosei, had like his teacher, chose the Rangers to fight for the earth, beginning with the Warstar, who were an evil army of alien bug creatures called the Insectoids bent on destroying the Earth. They had all but been destroyed by the Rangers. Now the enemy was the Armada, lead by the brother of the prince of Warstar, Prince Vekar, who the Rangers had been battling.
"Our sensors are picking up an interdimensional disruption just outside the Command Centre. I want you to--" before he could say another word what sounded like and felt like a meteorite impact shook the Command Centre, confusing everyone inside.
"Wow" exclaimed Tensou, Gosei's robot technical assistant, "what was that?"
"Sounded like a meteorite hit" said Noah Carver, the Super Megaforce Blue Ranger, the brains of the Rangers.
"You mean a rock falling from space" said Gia Moran, the Super Megaforce Yellow Ranger, giving a more simple explanation for Jake Holling the Super Megaforce Green Ranger.
"A rock falling from space?" asked Emma Goodall the Super Megaforce Pink Ranger, "Why hasn't the Command Centre been destroyed?"
"Maybe it's not a meteorite" suggested Orion, an alien from the destroyed planet Andresia now living on Earth and the Super Megaforce Silver Ranger.
"That's correct, Orion" said Gosei, "An object did indeed crash a mile or so from here, or should I say six objects, and the strange thing is"
"What's strange about it Gosei?" asked Troy Burrows the Super Megaforce Red Ranger.
"I'm getting life signs from them" Gosei replied.
"Well what are we wanting for?" asked Troy, "Let's go!"
"Right!" said the rest of the Rangers, and they left the Command Centre and headed to where the objects had crashed.
"We must be getting close" Noah said after a while.
Noah was right. In front of them was a crater the size of a pick-up truck. The Rangers never expected to find what they did: six strange creatures, each one a different colour were lying unconscious inside the crater.
Noah examined the creatures,
"Amazing, they appear to be equine in physiology" he said, "yet they also have humanoid features".
"What are you talking about?" Jake asked
"They look like horses, but they also look slightly human" Gia replied.
"Three of them have wings!" Emma noticed,
"And two have horns!" Jake noticed,
"One even has both!" said Orion,
"But I didn't know horses came in a variety of colours" said Troy,
"Nor did I know that they had symbols on their flanks" said Emma,
"The're hurt" observed Noah "We should get them back to the Command Centre."
"OK" said everyone else. And they headed back to the Command Centre, each one carrying one of the creatures.
Once inside, Gosei said "Well, Rangers what did you find?" Then he noticed they were carrying the creatures. The sound of Gosei's voice was a shock to the Rangers. They had never heard Gosei sound so shocked.
"These creatures..." said Gosei, "They are familiar to me, but I don't know how. Tensou, pull up the database on creatures from other dimensions."
"On it, Gosei" said Tensou as he worked the controls. He paused for a moment, then he said, "Gosei, these creatures would appear to be... Equestrian."
"Equestrian?" asked Noah, for although he was smart he wasn't as versed in other dimensions as Gosei and Tensou were.
"They come from the land of Equestria, which lies in another dimension" explained Gosei, "My mentor Zordon once told me of the ponies of Equestria and the level of harmony and peace, unparalleled throughout the multiverse. If they have been sent to our dimension, it must be for a reason."
"Tensou, can you revive them?" asked Troy.
"Yes I can, as a matter of fact" replied Tensou. "I'll get started on it right away" and Tensou and the Rangers took the creatures to the sick bay.
"Good" said Gosei "These ponies must be of some importance if they have been sent to our reality."
Twilight Sparkle woke up in a place she didn't recognize. It looked vaguely like a hospital room, but more advanced and it was in a cave.
"My inter-dimensional teleportation spell must have worked," she said to herself. She got off the bed, and began walking down the hall. When she got to the end of the hall, she heard familiar voices talking to some unfamiliar ones.
"Now, ah know y’all are good people and all" said Applejack, "but ah just don't see ya as superheroes. Ya don't look like superhero material."
"Oh, sure" mocked Rainbow Dash, "and you also have magic keys that can turn you into superheroes! And who is this ‘Gosei’ guy you keep talking about?"
The moment Rainbow Dash said "Gosei," Twilight was astonished. How could somepony like her possibly know about the student of Zordon the wizard from another dimension, who had made the Elements of Harmony? The door in front of Twilight opened, and she saw that her friends were arguing with six humans, each were wearing different colours.
"Twilight!" said Pinkie Pie, "You're finally awake!"
"You must be Twilight Sparkle" said the human wearing sliver, "We've heard so much about you. Name's Orion." He held out his hand, and Twilight shook it.
"I'm Troy" said the human in red, who she also shook hands with.
"I'm Jake" said the black-clad human, who Twilight also shook hands with.
"I'm Noah" said the human clad in blue, who gave Twilight a slightly weaker handshake, "Pleasure to meet you"
"I'm Gia" said the human clad in yellow, whose handshake was much stronger then Troy's and Orion's
"And I'm Emma" said the human clad in pink, introducing herself.
"Pleasure to meet you all" said Twilight. "Girls, I'm sure we all know why we are here, Right?"
"Um, I don't" said Fluttershy.
"You really didn't tell us, darling" said Rarity.
"Fine, then I'll explain. A thousand years ago, in Equestrian time, Equestria was invaded by creatures called Changelings. Changelings are creatures that feed off love. They can also turn themselves into other ponies and are led by their Queen, Chrysalis. They were banished to the ends of Equestria by two young alicorns, named Celestia and Luna, who now rule over Equestria. But after many years the Changelings and their Queen managed to regain their strength and now they have fled to this universe. I believe Chrysalis and her kind have taken refuge in a spaceship stationed above your earth, which, if I am not mistaken, is the home of a vile prince named Vekar. Celestia, my mentor has sent us to assist you, the Rangers, in defeating their combined assaults on earth". "Yes" she added to the humans, "I know all about the Ranger Keys, Zords and that sort of thing. I even know that you're the Power Rangers of this world."
"Well, if they're what you call 'Power Rangers'" said Rainbow Dash, "then why don't they prove it?"
"All right" said Troy "SUPER MEGA MODE!"
And they all pulled out strange devices from their belts and inserted some different coloured keys into them.
"Super Megaforce red!" said Troy
"Super Megaforce yellow!" said Gia
"Super Megaforce green!" said Jake
"Super Megaforce pink!" said Emma
"Super Megaforce blue!" said Noah
"Super Megaforce silver!" said Orion
What happen next astonished everypony but Twilight. The humans were now clad in colour-coded helmets and suits, the same colour as their normal clothes, and the helmets had a symbol on them that resembled a pirate crossed cutlasses. They had morphed into Power Rangers.
"So ya are superheroes!" said Applejack
"There is no time for debate, my little ponies" said a voice from behind them. The voice came from a giant alien face set into the rock wall of the Command Centre.
"Who are you?" demanded Rainbow Dash
"You..." Twilight said, not able to believe her eyes, "you must be...Gosei"
"That is correct" he replied.
"But who is he?" demanded Rainbow Dash, increasingly irritated by not knowing anything about this Gosei character.
"He and his mentor Zordon visited Equestria twelve hundred years ago," Twilight explained, "and Zordon was the creator of the Elements of Harmony. I believe the technology and power behind the Elements are similar to that of the Ranger's keys and transformation devices,which are called Legendary Morphers."
"Correct again" replied Gosei, "My mentor and I were astonished at the levels of harmony your race had achieved, yet my mentor knew that it was not to last. So he created the Elements of Harmony using what he had learned about the Legendary Morphers. He designed them so the only those whose hearts were pure could wield them effectively".
"But what do ya have to do these Rangers?" asked Applejack.
"Simple, like my teacher before me, I am the Rangers mentor and guide" Gosei said.
"Well, now we know why we are here," said Rarity, "but what, other then queen Chrysalis and her Changelings, are we up against?"
"I am glad you asked," said Gosei, "Prince Vekar, is the alien leader of the Armada, a huge fleet of battle ships, which is looking to take over the Earth. If the might of his army is combined with the Changelings power it could spell doom for the earth".
"Well, everyone, what are we waiting for?" said Twilight, "Let's go get them!"
"Right!" said the Rangers and they all dashed out of the Command Centre.
"May the Power protect you all" Gosei said as they left.
