Adjustments for Sunset

Chapter 1

It was usually quiet in the land of Equestria, but sometimes there are some disturbances when it comes to the frequent villains attacking from time to time from Nightmare Moon to the Dark Mystic Ponies. Of course, if anyone were in the fields a while outside of Ponyville, they would've saw explosions occurring and believe that they are under attack right now. Luckily though, that isn't the case.

Sunset Shimmer breathes in and out, glancing at her opponent Twilight Sparkle. She then charges, trying her best to form an Unicorn Burst...but the Alicorn smiles as she simply moves, firing out blasts which the new unicorn barely managed to block. It was a while since Sunset, a human from the EG world who is now an unicorn thanks to a wrongful banishment by her Equestria Prime counterpart, has become friends with the Mane Six, their friends...especially Flash Sentry who was once EP Sunset's foal friend.

Speaking of which, most of the gang are watching from nearby, AKA the Mane Five, Ben, Nyx and Flash. Rainbow cringes while remarking, "Wow. With this much destruction, it's one-sided."

"Especially since...hang on!" Applejack exclaims as she notices Sunset making a force field, "Looks like she did a force field 'dat time."

"Okay, so I was wrong about the one-sided part."

Sunset breaths in and out then manages to focus...then fire an Unicorn Burst, making Twilight yelp and dodge it in time. This allows her friend to jump in, punching the princess a few times. Sunset is getting better than Twilight had imagined. She jumps behind Sunset who turns and blocks the attack with a force field; Looks like they're easily matched here.

"Looks like mommy and Aunt Sunny are evenly matched." Nyx said, observing the fight in amazement.

"The student is outwitting the teacher." Ben comments in agreement, watching Twilight knocking Sunset into a tree hard. "Well, almost."

"Okay, enough for today." Twilight said, deciding to put an end to the training session that she and Sunset are doing. "Anymore of this and Princess Celestia would send the Royal Guard to investigate."

"Ouch. My flank is hurting." Sunset said, rubbing her flank in pain. "What's the point of this training anyway?"

"Sunset, we need to give you a chance to defend yourself in case you are to be kidnapped, tortured or whatever. We can't always be around to keep you safe. This is for your own protection."

"Well, yes...but I am not a fighter..."

Twilght smiles, giving a sisterly like hug to Sunset while adding, "Neither are us...but we have to fight in order to keep our families, friends and everyone else we know and care about safe from danger."

"She's right." Ben said thoughtfully as the group came up. "We preferred to use friendship instead of fighting to solve problems, but when it comes to our enemies, sometimes fighting itself can be a solution than a problem."

"Yes...I don't like fighting....but I have to if I want to keep my friends safe." Fluttershy explains, hiding her mane. "That is, if you don't mind of course."

"Look, the princess put you in my care for a reason, Sunset. I don't want my friends to be harmed or used like your counterpart did." Twilight explains wisely to the student. "Just promise me that no matter what, you stay on the side of goodness for all time."

"Yes, I believe I will." Sunset said with a sigh, nodding a bit.

"Well, we're done fer 'de day, time fer us 'ta head on home," Applejack remarks, stretching a bit. "Ah is way behind on mah work as it is. Granny Smith is gonna be sore."

"Speaking of sore, Applejack, I got word from the ponies of Mount Monument that a plane crash messed with their work...and ponies with your and Rarity's description were escaping from the scene," Twilight remarks, giving a suspicious look to Applejack and Rarity. "Mind telling me if that's true or what's that all about?"

"Shucks, we done were having trouble gitting 'ta 'de west, 'dat's all. Turns out mah relatives there didn't need me."

"Yet, we did have a good time, right Applejack?" Rarity ask with a chuckle, fore-arming Applejack a bit.

"Right, so yew said." Applejack remarks with an awkward chuckle. "We will pay fer 'de damages."

"No need, no much damage was done...just watch yourselves next time." Twilight said to Applejack, sighing and shaking her head in amusement. She has gotten used to her friends' crazy stuff by now.

"Got to go, girls, I got my own training with Chase to get to." Ben said as he prepares to head off. Chase needs to train him at the moment and there can't be any delay.

"You sure you could trust him?" Flash ask Ben in concern. "I mean, it's not that he's a bad guy...but for some reason, I felt uneasy around him."

"Oh relax. I am not sure why you, Brave Heart, Twilight, or certain ponies are suspicious of him but he haven't committed any crimes yet, right?"

"That's what concerns me."

Twilight and her friends agree to watch Ben's training with Chase, this time it's in the mountain ranges. As the mares, Dragons, and others watch on, Ben breathes in and out, glancing at Chase. Unknown to him, he found out that his mentor was really Shadow Dragon...but also unknown to Ben and the others, that memory was since erased thanks to Grimmore.

"Come on, Ben. It's time for you to learn the way of getting your enemy's weapons or held your weapon tightly." Chase insists to Ben, preparing the next part of the training. For once, the disguised villain is grateful of Grimmore and his memory wipe. Otherwise, he wouldn't keep on doing this.

"How," Ben ask Chase curiously.

"Starting with your Master Sword," The disguised Dark Mystic Pony said. Ben took and held his Master Sword out. Chase approached him while continuing, "Attack me!"

"What?! But I-!"

"Do as you were told!"

Ben thrust his sword at Chase. He moved to his left and grabbed Ben's hooves before punching his face hard. Ben let go of his Master Sword before Chase took it at once. He held it tight at Ben while winning that round so to speak.

"Lesson One: Dodge the Attack and get the weapon." Chase instructs Ben calmly.

"Ouch. You could have told me." Ben groans a bit, rubbing the face where he was hit hard.

"Action speaks louder than words, Ben. Now take your weapon at once. No hesitation." Chase thrust the Master Sword at Ben who dodged to his right before grabbing his sword before punching on Chase's face. The villain dodged down and hit on Ben's chest hard. He held Master Sword up at Ben's neck. "Lesson Two: If you want your weapon to stay with you, counter the attack before attacking; understand?"

"Man... This training is getting tense."

"If you want to defeat your enemies especially Shadow Dragon, you need to be tense and strong in defeating them. And trust me, they will show you no mercy. Just the way they did to me."

"Ouch... That's gotta hurt." Ben remarks with a cringe, wondering how his mentor and friend is feeling right now.

"You have no idea..." Chase remarks under his breath, referring to his own enemies.

"Okay, Master; got the point. Should we?"

"Yes, we should. I want you give your best shot in defeating me while using two tricks I had taught you."

Ben held his Master Sword tight while Chase armed himself in a fighting position. He swung his weapon over Chase's head, but the opponent dodged down while swinging on his legs, making Ben to fell down. Chase jumped up and slammed his hooves towards him but Ben quickly rolled over to his left. The disguised Dark Mystic Pony's hooves slammed on the ground, Ben quickly hovered up and kicked his head hard. Chase got pushed as Ben thrust his sword while dodging Chase for five times.

Ben gave a hard struck of his Master Sword at Chase, who quickly moved to his left and grabbed his sword. The Dark Mystic Pony gave a hard punch at Ben who quickly dodged down and swiped his back legs hard. Chase fell to the ground then Ben held his Master Sword tight at his neck.

Chase chuckled lightly, "Well done. You learned quicker than before. When I first came to this town, you were slow. Impressive..."

"Well... If you want to get improve of your skills, you've gotta learn quickly and adapt to it. And I learn something from you too." Ben remarks to Chase in amusement.

"Really?"

"Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Eventually, whoever the enemy I fought before, I failed to defeat him."

"True... I can't seem to remember as well." Chase said with a nod. That isn't true though: the villain did remember the Devil Destroyer's rampages...as well as Chase's his own true identify almost being exposed, but he doesn't want Ben and the others to know that. "But I do know what you can do next. You just need to keep on training and sharpening your skills. Slack of it, I doubt you can survive the next enemy's attack."

"Yeah...I guess so..." Ben remarks with a shrug. Can't deny that now, can he?

"Take a day off, Ben. I wouldn't want your girlfriend to be more suspicious on me again."

"Seriously; you actually knew that Twilight was still doubting on you?"

"You can't fool the Master of Martial Arts that easily, even if you got the advice from the frog puppet." Chase remarks to Ben, commentating on how the stallion got advice from Kermit during the Muppet Show thing.

Ben chuckled, "Right..."

After the training session's over, the gang heads out to the outside restaurant to eat and hang out for a while. Ben and Twilight decided to hang out with Sunset and Flash, as if going on a double date. The couples need some time out, especially with what happened lately.

Sunset glances at Ben, curiously asking, "So, can you tell me about this Chase?"

"As far as I know about him, he was the martial artist and a champion from his old home. He came here for peace and quiet. But instead of that, he helped me to train and sharpen my skills and weapons well." Ben explains Sunset of how Chase helped him despite some suspicions on the newcomer.

"Hmm... Interesting..."

"So, was your Chase behaving that way?"

"Well, I wasn't sure. This Chase I've met was just a soldier and knows nothing of martial arts." Sunset explains to Ben in concern. It's true, she knows of Chase...as well as something else altogether but ever since her arrival here, the unicorn wanted to make sure; odd. There's something else but the former human can't put her hoof on it.

"That's... weird..." Ben said in concern. Her Chase is a soldier but know nothing of martial arts? But the Equestria Prime's Chase does; Very odd.

"Ben, I was told that you knew about Shadow Dragon. He was your ally?"

"We did. But he was our enemy."

"That's correct. He used to be a Mystic Pony from what Tao told us...but something happened to him that corrupted him forever." Twilight explains seriously. "We suspect a mare's death had something to do with it."

"Right, but some of us were told to not get involve in his past in somehow or matter." Flash explains to Sunset while drinking his cup. "Somehow I wish to go through on that request...but it isn't easy."

"Sunset, would you tell us about Shadow Dragon and his story? You seem to know about him." Twilight said to Sunset in concern. Her new friend seems to know about Shadow Dragon somehow.

Sunset hesitates, wondering if she tell them...but the mare will just give out a bit of details, not all of it. She spoke, "I can tell you a bit about him. But it's very different. Shadow Dragon... He is a hero and one of Azure Phoenix's Black Operation: Dragon Strike Force. I saw him as an older brother to me."

"An older brother, really," Rainbow asks as she and the others couldn't help but overheard the conversion.

"Oh my; He is a hero in that world?" Fluttershy ask Sunset in surprise and disbelief. Shadow Dragon has different versions of himself in other universes.

"Wow! Talk about bizarre, like the mirror world!" Pinkie exclaims happily bouncing up and down.

"There is more. He has three children and his wife was Iris Crystal." Sunset said, much to the others' surprise. Iris Crystal is the name of the mare that the bad Shadow Dragon loves...and who helped Ben out during the Day of the Moon. "And of course, I was told that he had special relationship with Azure Phoenix and even Master Tao."

"Oh really, darling," Rarity ask, arching an eyebrow, "How so?"

"Like I said before, he was very different than yours."

"You're right about him. He was very different than our Shadow Dragon. He was filled with anger and rage because of his losses. I wonder what really cause him that." Ben said in concern. He got to find out what happened to Shadow Dragon...and maybe find some way to help him despite requests and/or demands to just leave the Dark Mystic Pony's past be.

"Whatever had caused him to turn against you from the Beginning will be explained." Sunset said to Ben seriously.

"Yeah, I guess I'll find out soon."

Before the gang can continue on with their hanging, Twilight stops at the castle to get some bits and some books to do some reading, as well as some updating. Upon arrival, the mare is surprised to see her mentor/fellow princess/aunt in law waiting for her, drinking some tea at the council table.

"Princess; What are you doing here?" Twilight ask Celestia in surprise.

Celestia looks up from her teapot, giving out a smile while saying, "Checking on your progress. Even though Firmtact Waller agreed to back off from spying on Human Sunset, she still had concern and doubts about having a Human from our Human Version Realm as our friend."

"Princess... As Flare Tiger had said before, our human friends are keeping the secrets from anyone and even Sunset help out."

"True. But it was also my concern. I am worry about Sunset because of her dark and selfish ways before her reform. Some of the Humans have doubts and suspicious on her. They will learn that she doesn't belong there. The only way to help her was to help Human Sunset prove that she and us can be friends."

"I assure you, Princess. I won't let Sunset Shimmer fell to the tricks again." Twilight assures Celestia gently. The purple Alicorn refuses to let the human Sunset be deceived and easily used for evil. Not a chance.

"Good enough... You truly are the Princess of Friendship." Celestia giggles, getting up from the table to nuzzle her niece in law/fellow princess, relieved to hear all that.

"I learn from the best. I'd better go check on her and my friends. I hope there won't be any attacks from any of our enemies."

"Very well..."

"You see, Lordcan?" Luna ask giving the still hidden Lorcan a glance at what's going on during the conversion between her sister and Twilight. Michael and Discord are watching as well. "Twilight had indeed forgiven Sunset. Please, if you could just give her a chance..."

"Look, even if Twilight forgave the other Sunset, No way will she forgive me...look at me, guys." Lorcan said, sighing while glancing at himself.

"Ooooh, you look like something the cat ran over." Discord teases a bit, making Luna glares at him. "What? I was only joking."

"No matter what happens, she will still remember me as the one who killed her brother."

"Lorcan..." Luna said with a sigh as Lorcan leaves the room. She wanted to encourage the scarred former villain to come out of hiding, reveal himself to Twilight and give redemption a chance. Why not now?

The Mane Six, Flash, Ben, Sunset, Nyx, Spike and Phobos met up at Sugarcube Corner. They were about to enter when a black crow flew by and screeched out loudly. They yelped in shock and scared. The gang turned and found the crow flying right on the hoof of a mysterious masked pony.

"What the...who is this joker?" Rainbow asks her friends in alarm.

"Oh great; Not another mysterious figure who could be friend or foe," Phobos groans, slapping himself on the forehead in irritation, "Can't we ever have enough of those for one lifetime?!"

"Apparently not, Phobos," Nyx said seriously. Whoever this figure is, could be serious news!

"About time I get your attention." The mysterious figure said to the group with an evil grin.

"Who are you," Ben demands, getting into position. Something tells him that this figure isn't here for a meet and greet.

"What's 'de story about 'dis pony?" Applejack ask Sunset, pondering if her pal got any info on this newcomer.

"To be honest... I never met him before." Sunset explains to her friends in concern. She doesn't recognize this figure yet so the girl got no information on the new guy, "Though his voice... seems so familiar."

"Okay, who are you?!" Spike demands to the pony with a deep frown.

"Right, what business do you got here in Ponyville?" Twilight ask the newcomer with a frown. Whoever this stranger is, he is trouble!

The figure known as Swipestrike chuckles as he reveals himself to the good guys, explaining, "I get to meet the one who wield Triforce Elements. To be honest...I was expecting someone... stronger, raging and pure dark as the one I fought before..."

"What; what do you mean?!" Rarity demands angrily to Swipestrike.

"Right, mind filling us in about the whole thing I don't know what you mean about Ben?" Pinkie asks confused more than demanding in determination.

"Geez, what a weirdo," Nyx exclaims in annoyance.

Swipestrike chuckles in amusement, glancing at Ben while adding, "I see... I guess Dark Curse was right about you. You know nothing of your existence. Pity. You know nothing of the true power behind Triforce Elements."

"What the heck are you talking about?!" Ben demands angrily at Swipestrike, having no clue as to what this newcomer is talking about.

"Let put the simple words, little brat: You're an idiot. Unlike your former predecessor, he was more determined yet not foolish as you are. You are just a pretender."

"Pretender; What are you talking about?! The Triforce Elements chose me!"

"As a sacrifice, fool," Swipestrike exclaims as if taunting Ben, making the stallion more upset. How dare this creep even say that about him!

"The nerve of you; I'm gonna get you for that!" Flash yells out furiously. No one insults his best friend and gets away with it!

During this time, Pinkamena and her group saw the events happening on one of the monitors in the secret dungeon. The weirdo pink pony quickly spoke, "Well I think maybe me and Goldie should see what outcomes will happen this time while the rest of you can do what you need to do ok?"

They nod as Pinkamena heads up as Golden Heart follows. Meanwhile, Flash charged in as he struck and thrust his spear. Swipestrike dodged and avoided the attacks in high speed as quick as he can. Flash groaned in anger as he tried to struck and thrust his spear at Swipestrike for a few times. Flash thrust his spear on the enemy's head, but Swipestrike dodged down and thrust his Killer Sword on Flash's chest, injuring him a bit.

"Flash! Darn you!" Ben exclaims furiously at Swipestrike. This creep almost killed his best friend.

"Come on! Hate me! Hate me as if your past life truly hates!" Swipestrike taunts Ben some more, wanting him to go out of his mind. "You, him and the rest will hate me! Coz I kill lives!"

"Son of -!"

Ben charged in as he struck his Master Sword at Swipestrike, who quickly moved to his back and kicked him out. Ben turned and swung his Master Sword at dodging and avoiding Swipestrike. He thrust his sword at the villain, who quickly dodged and grabbed it. He was about to punch the Earth Pony until Ben quickly grabbed his punch before head butting on his head hard and then kicking on his chest hard, sending Swipestrike to the ground. Looks like his lesson with Chase had truly paid off.

"Not bad, kid. You're learning." Swipestrike groans as he got up barely, recovering from the blow. "But that's not enough when you're dealing with the true speedmaster!"

Swipestrike disappeared from Ben's sights. Before he could do anything, Swipestrike appeared from his back and smirked darkly. Ben screamed in pain as he fell to the ground when he received his wounds.

"Ben!" Twilight exclaims in horror at her love being knocked down.

"Daddy," Nyx exclaims in alarm.

"Hey, you can't do that!" Pinkie exclaims in alarm and shock by Ben being taken down like that. "Come on, let's kick his flank!"

Twilight and her friends armed themselves in battle. They were about to attack but Swipestrike appeared before them. He swung, stroke, thrust and slashed his Twin Killer Swords at them quick and hard. They fell to the ground, obviously caught off guard by this cheater.

"That was easy. I was expecting resistance. I wonder why so many enemies had hard time to deal with you. I wonder why else does the Three Lords had been keeping you alive." Swipestrike taunts his enemies who kept falling. If this is Equestria's best, then this world is a pathetic place indeed! "As soon as I'm done in assassinating you, I'm taking your friend for... Superior to make her suffer..."

Sunset blasted her Unicorn Burst at Swipestrike's head, blocking him out. The villain glances at the opposing mare, remarking in amusement, "Feisty, aren't you?" So this unicorn can fight after all!

Sunset growled, "You leave them alone."

"You're not actually believing in this friendship thing that is important to you..."

"Yes. Yes, they are."

"Don't you want to go home? That's what I'm doing here. I'm bringing you back home safely. And soon, you have nothing to worry about with these fools." Swipestrike said, trying to be gentle. Sunset pauses to think, it would be nice to go home again...if it weren't for the fact that her friends would be dead by the time it's over!

"I said no." Sunset remarks stubbornly much to Swipestrike's surprise and disbelief. He is offering a chance for her to go back to the Human Realm version of Equestria and yet she chose to refuse?

"Why are you so stubborn and foolish?! Your Human Realm is only your home."

"Perhaps; But letting your master do as he pleased, especially his manipulation on innocents and the Sunset Shimmer Pony, I can't allow that. I know what they are capable of. I won't fall for that trick. Have you forgotten about me? I was the student of Azure Phoenix! I can tell of tricks and traps. I owe it to him and Twilight. I'm sure that Twilight herself will find the way to get me home. And more importantly, I'm gonna prove to my home that Humans and Ponies can be friends together as they had with the Autobots. I won't surrender to you!"

Swipestrike sighed, shaking his head while remarking, "Guess Dark Curse was right about you. You're no same as that idiot. But you're quite smarter than her, but even to be stupid to believe in the friendship stuff. But do as you please."

Swipestrike disappeared in black smokes. Sunset looks surprised yet relieved. The villain was close to winning but chose to leave for now.

"What was that about?" Ben groans as he and the others got up barely from the fighting.

"I don't know...but luckily we survived for now." Twilight said with a sigh. She turns to Sunset, adding, "I'm proud of you, Sunset. You got a chance to go home but refuse, not wanting us to suffer. Azure, your Azure, must be proud of you."

"Yeah...providing that he even knows that I'm gone...or is even proud at all," Sunset said, looking down a bit. She wonders if Azure or any pony else in her world knew that she is really gone or not.

"As a friend, I will find a way to get you back...and maybe someday see if you want to go back or not."

Sunset nods a bit as she and the others head back to the castle to get bandages and to recover from the latest attack. Who this new attacker is, he is no pushover. The next time, may be the last!

Flash glances to Sunset, speaking to her seriously, "You could have taken that chance of going home."

"There's one thing I learn about the battle. Always take advice from someone you truly admire and trust." Sunset explains gently and seriously to Flash, nuzzling him a bit. "You, Twilight and everyone I met are the ones. Beside, when there was a way to go home, I will go. But there was something else I need to do."

"What would that be?"

"You... And to be honest, this... This is my home now. I'm going to stay here after 30 Moons. I'm glad to meet you and especially... I really love you."

Flash smiled, nuzzling Sunset right back while saying, "Thanks... I'm glad you did. Knowing my Sunset had someone to love, I wish her to have a good life."

Sunset smiles at Flash, adding, "I know she will."

Sunset kissed Flash's lips. He kissed her back. They both continued kissing before landed on the soft grass while hugging each other gently. The Mane Six, Ben, the Dragons and Nyx couldn't help but smirk and laugh a bit at this.

"Now that is true love right there, right Twiley?" Ben asks as he put an upper forearm around Twilight, kissing her on the cheek.

Twilight, smiling, kiss him right back, saying, "Yes it does, Benny. Yes it does."

The Human versions of Pinkamena and Golden Heart aren't having a good time in the world of Equestria Girls right now. They have been ambushed by Dragon Strike Force and bring in for questioning, involving the disappearances of plans and designs. In a dark room, which had a table and seats only. Both Golden Heart and Pinkamena were in their seats. They gulped in concern and worry. as they are being confronted by not only Azure Phoeniz but Joshua Joyce. And trust me folks, neither of them are happy!

"So... You are the one responsible for this mess." Joyce snaps to the two angrily. "Do you have any idea what you both had done?! You're going to bring destruction to our world!"

"We got no idea what you're talking about." Pinkamena said thoughtfully, pretending not to know.

"Right, and besides, why are you blaming us for some mistakes?" Golden Heart ask in agreement, also pretending not to know. "Didn't you make Galvatron, the one formerly known as Megatron?"

"You think Megatron had become Galvatron on purpose? Maybe you're right. Maybe you're wrong. There are some Decepticons; we can't be sure, who are dead." Joyce said sternly to the two. "Trust me. That was my biggest mistake; But not this time."

Azure glared at Golden Heart while demanding, "Tell me, old friend. Who did you send the plans and designs of the Transformers to? Refused, I will have your head. And more importantly...Where is Sunset Shimmer?! My student! The one you harbor is not her! Tell me now, traitor!"

Suddenly a flash appears as Azure and Joyce looks dazed as Golden Heart and Pinkamena are wearing sunglasses, the latter is holding a flashing device. The Pinkie lookalike giggles, "Luckily, I got this just in case."

"Now listen, you don't know anything about the missing plans and designs anyone and you don't got any accusations against us. Also, the Sunset Shimmer we got is really her, the real one will be explained of at the right time." Golden Heart explains calmly to the two. "Also, we were never here. We will let ourselves out."

Golden Heart and Pinkamena then leave the room to make their quick and quiet escape, leaving Azure and Golden Heart behind to recover to both look confused, both are wondering what's going on and why they are even here.

The scene slowly opens to where Celestia was now preparing a setting sunset. At that moment near a cliff top that could watch over Ponyville within the Rainbow Kingdom and see Cloudsdale & Canterlot, we see two lovers; as they were Flash Sentry and Sunset Shimmer. The entire day that has gone by seem almost a lot longer than anyone would think, but that's beside the point.

"It's beautiful, the Sunset." Flash spoke off in viewing the sunset display.

"Hmm," Sunset Shimmer responded puzzle in almost not paying attention, but heard her name.

"Oh, I meant the sunset over there, you know...the one in the sky." Flash yelps in trying to explain the case of the mis-confusion.

"Oh, yes...sorry about that. I got...confused." Sunset Shimmer yelps in realizing the mistake done and tried to correct herself.

Both gave a little laughter at the moment before slowly calming down at the time being.

"You really had a busy time, hugh?" Flash asked off a question to Sunset at this moment of her busy day.

"Between learning to control my own magic while here in this world after I never once understood or tried to figure out how to help me out while stuck here, it's been something else." Sunset responded that she's learn how to better handle her use of performing magic, if she learn this when she got stranded, it could have been helpful to her.

"Well Twilight and the others helped you out, right? You've gotten a new handle of it." Flash stated in what happened that Sunset is now better at performing certain unicorn spells.

"Yes, Twilight seem like a good friend...she showed me how to levitate objects, control my teleports, and even perform some defensive spells." Sunset Shimmer explained off in those she has already earn to perform. "It's just..." She was going to say, but stop herself short.

"It's just...what?" Flash asked off in sensing some hesitation in that voice.

"Well, everyone's been very kind to help me learn and know more about what I am now to get a better adjustment to my life here." Sunset Shimmer explained the other case of those that have helped her get by in her new human changed to pony lifestyle here. "But I still fear for what I've learn here that makes the scary things in my world seem like nothing at all." She held herself in fear from knowing the human world's evil seems almost small time compared to the greater evil forces on this side.

"You're talking about what happened when we got attacked, you were kidnapped, and then the battle of whoever it was we fought was erased from our memories?" Flash Sentry stated in knowing what it was that might be affecting the girl still. "I still can't remember much about it, no one knows, but one thing was still important, your safety. We wanted to help you, we care for you, and..." The guy was trying to explain the case until...

"And..." Sunset asked in wondering what he say.

"And...I really care a lot about you too." Flash Sentry blurted in out to be the simple truth. "I lost my Sunset Shimmer to the Superior of the Apocalypse Ponies, he invaded her dreams and slowly turn her into something she wasn't meant to be." Flash never did forgive what happened to his old love long ago.

"And because of him, my other self stranded me here." Sunset Shimmer spoke in feeling sad for this pony in hearing that. "Do you...still care for her?" She asked in sounding concern for the answer.

"In truth, I do. She's living a new life in the human world, but I know I won't forget her." Flash replied off in stating he does still care for the Sunset Shimmer of this world.

"Oh, I see." Sunset replied in starting to almost feel a bit…sad in hearing this; it might mean he still loves the other version of the girl.

Then without warning, Flash brought Sunset into a hug, surprising her to which she look into his eye in seeing a kind face he gives off.

"Which is why I won't forget you either; you are both the same Sunset Shimmer I once knew and I don't care what may happen to me. I won't ever lose some pony dear and special to me." Flash declared this off that he won't lose the same person he loves again, not ever again.

"Do you...really mean that?" Sunset slowly asked off in surprise to hear this.

"With all my heart and soul. I even dare myself to go to the end of Tartarus for you." Flash spoke forth in stating that with his heart speaking true, he go to the end for the mare.

"You...you mean you risk coming after me, if I was...gulp...in the hands of the Demon God?" Sunset swallowed hard in fearing that if her very life was threaten by the greatest evil in Equestria, by Grimmore, would Flash do it or is he just all talk?

"You kidding, I probably zoom in there without thinking other than keeping my senses open and get you and me out of there regardless to my own life." Flash stated in what he do if the case were like that, he risk himself to rescue and get him and the one he loves out of mortal danger.

Sunset Shimmer was silent to almost start blushing, a pony saying such crazy things like taking on a Demon God for the one they love; it was stupid...it was foolish....yet it also felt romantic to know such things. The girl look back to smile at the stallion, she felt really glad to be with him.

"You don't have to do any of that." Sunset spoke in speaking about denying Flash to ever pull off such a stunt, "Because in truth, you aren't alone. You have friends...and...they are my friends too. As long as I'm with many of you, I feel...safe." She spoke her words softly while slowly leaning her head onto Flash's neck, feeling his warmth that kept her comfy and safe from harm.

"Safety in numbers and friends; and those that care for you." Flash responded to say while he nuzzles with Sunset Shimmer.

Now while this was going on, Twilight and Ben watch this from a telescope off their castle. Seeing how well Flash and Sunset were doing, they were starting to get close again.

"Well Twilight, I think we can safely assume that everything checks out here." Ben smiles to nod in what they see is an okay situation.

"Yeah, I'm glad Sunset is feeling much better now. Flash really is a great guy." Twilight nods in agreement with a happy smile of her own.

"He's my best friend, he never lie about helping someone, even to the one he loves." Ben proudly stated this about his best bud helping the ones he cares for...even someone he loves.

"I'm glad he's our friend, and I'm also glad...he's a good friend to watch over you." Twilight spoke to say while she leans near Ben in feeling so glad that they have Flash as a friend, and one to help them out and Sunset.

Now it was the Sparkle Lovers turn to feel all emotional over what was playing out. As the sunset was setting slowly to just about end the day, one thing could almost be certain here...that Sunset Shimmer from the human world maybe a stranger, but she may feel right at home when surrounded by friends, family and lovers. That alone, can help remove any sadness or traumas of her hard day, knowing that her new life in this world of ponies....is just the beginning.
