It was about 7 AM on Friday morning of the weekend in which Applejack, Big Mac, and Granny Smith were due to spend the weekend in Las Pegasus and leave the Cutie Mark Crusaders to taking care of Sweet Apple Acres while they were gone. It just so happened that Friday was Applebloom's birthday. Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo arrived at Sweet Apple Acres to meet up with Applebloom to walk to school together. If course, Scootaloo had a couple of tricks up her sleeve for this big weekend. Sweetie Belle brought her new video camera with her to document every moment of this big weekend.

"What's up everypony, this is yo girl Scootaloo. We're just outside Sweet Apple Acres to wake up Applebloom on her birthday and Big Mac, Applejack, and Granny Smith will be heading out to Las Pegasus any minute now and then we get the whole all to ourselves for the entire weekend. This is Project CMC yo!" said Scootaloo to the camera.

They then walked into the barn and were greeted by Big Mac as soon as they got inside.

"Oh boy! We're gonna have the right to say we didn't turn down for nothing!" said Scootaloo.

"Turn down for what?" asked Granny Smith with a confused look on her face.

"Oh uh nothing Granny Smith! Just talking about how hard we're gonna work to make sure Sweet Apple Acres is in ship shape while you're gone." said Sweetie Belle with an awkward smile on her face.

They then walked upstairs to meet up with Applebloom in her room.

"Oh shoot that was close!" said Scootaloo.

They ran into Applejack in the hallway.

"Oh hey Applejack! Have you seen Applebloom?" asked Scootaloo.

"Oh she's taking a shower. She'll meet up with y'all downstairs." said Applejack.

Ignoring what Applejack had just said to them Scootaloo sneaked into the bathroom and pulled open the curtain and yelled, "Happy birthday Applebloom!".

"Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle, get outta here! I'll be downstairs in five minutes." said Applebloom.

Before she got out of the bathroom, Scootaloo rubbed Applebloom's toothbrush on a bar of soap as a joke.

About five minutes later, Applebloom met up with Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo downstairs. While Big Mac was putting their bags in the taxi, Applejack gave the CMC a little pep talk about what was expected of them while they were gone.

"Alright y'all, this is a big test that Big Mac and I are putting you through to see if you can be trusted and responsible enough of watching over the farm for three full days. Just remember to do the regular house chores everyday and if you're gonna have other friends over, just don't make a big mess of the place and if you do, clean up after yourselves. We'll see y'all on Sunday night." said Applejack and she and Granny Smith got into the taxi and left.

"Goodbye! Have fun in Las Pegasus! Miss you already!" said the CMC.

"They're finally gone! Now we just have to endure three hours of school and our awesome party weekend has officially started!" said Scootaloo and they headed to school thinking about possibly inviting other ponies to the big party they planned on throwing for Applebloom's birthday.
