//------------------------------// // Chapter 11-World of Tanks(Tier X,Canterlot) // Story: World of Tanks // by cellum95 //------------------------------// As Luna lowered the moon, Celestia quickly raised the sun in a magnificent fashion. The sun shown brightly, eager to bring joy and happiness to the land of Equestria. Normally, it's the signal of prosperity and harmony to all of the ponies living in the country. It would give hope in the most dire situations, whether it's war, famine or any disasters Equestria needs to face. After all, according from the Princess of Nights and Dreams, Luna, all ponies liked the sun for it's stunning beauty to lit up the sky like a giant beacon. However, these we're not the circumstances. Everyday, in the town of Ponyville as the sun goes up, the ponies would barricade the town in the hopes that these steel-monsters coming to town, making it there personal killing ground. They would barricade themselves so much that even news about spread all of Equestria, signalling all of the cities to barricade, except Manehattan, who says that it's just a tale. However, nopony would knew this is gonna happen...... -Canterlot Castle- Celestia is just bored as shit right now, not because she raised the sun for everypony, but because of motherfucking nobles who would bicker around like little bitches. One would come to her Day Court, and then other nobles would swarm in to join the squabble around fame, glory, money or whatever fuck they want. 'Just like routine anyways'. She thought. It was like a rinse-repeat scenario. Nothing but to hear their arguments. If she was good as day on the outside, then in the inside she was irritated. There is something, anything, to stop this madness before it would go out of hand. And then the news about Manehattan. Normally, she would heed the saying of the Manehattan Mayor. But the news of those machines using the prized city as their killing grounds was just as shocking as those found in Ponyville. The news carried only one message: they are spreading to other locations. This is just too much for her, so she called it a break and settled down for a bit. 'Is this how you feel Luna?' She thought. Not the kind of being shunned but the kind of irritation. Celestia feels like her younger sister when this is the kind of feeling Luna experienced thousands of years ago. It hurts, so she now know how it feels to be irritated by something. Just as she wants to retire the day, some unexplained noise was heard. Celestia quickly spun her head, trying to see what was making the noise. With no luck, she tried listening. After moments of listening, she could hear the very noise that was making her nervous. *Tick, Tick, Tick, Tick, Tick* As if her mind and heart would stop working, Celestia's face paled, knowing what was coming. The 'steel-monsters' is gonna use the capital as their playground! She could do something, but she remembered something. Those monsters could not hurt her little ponies, just hear them. 'There's got to be another way.' She thought. However, the truth still hurts: she can't do anything about it. -Outside- Watcher is just strolling around like a normal pony. He is rich, yes, but not an extent the he would gloat about it. In fact, he one of the very few who is kind to the so-called 'commoners'. He hated that word, because he felt it was wrong. He had felt equality ever since he had risen to noblehood, thanks to most nobles in the city. He just sighed. 'Why would the other nobles be like that?' He thought. Just as he was calling quits from his daily strolling, he heard a noise. This noise was more of a rumbling in a sense of way. But for Watcher, this rumbling noise is different. It's not an earthquake, so something must be that noisy to make that sound. Finally, as he looked around, Watcher so his answer. 'In the name of Celestia......what the buck is that?!' He panicked as he saw this.......beasts........going to enter the city through the gates. The Royal Guards we're caught off guard. It's been years since Canterlot was attacked. The first two tanks that entered the city-the IS-7 and the T57 Heavy-we're big and kinda intimidating for the ponies. Two others quickly followed. Together, these four is following like a pack. Watcher, in a while, is just watching in utter confusion. There are many questions in his head, but before he could think the obvious one, a pinging noises was heard. Turns out-in his horror-three more actually got into the capital through to the other gate. These were: FV215b 183, Maus and IS-8, ready to take on the challenge. While the others is fighting already at the base of the mountain, this seven will make this city into an inferno. As Watcher is watching the whole scene-with the other ponies in the city-the green Jagd.Pz. E-100 fired the first shot of aggression in the city, hitting the IS-8. The Russian Tier IX Tank had received a powerful punch, prompting him to back off. The other two is still charging, firing at the already spotted Jageroo. However, as soon as they fired, they revealed their positions to the waiting three, and all of them started firing. The ponies, still watching, now know what there objective is: kill or be killed. It was a war rule, nearly forgotten. But, thanks to these machines, the rule re-surfaced. The T57 Heavy, thanks to auto-loading mechanism, fired four rapid succession of shells to the IS-8, killing it. The IS-7, on the other hand, is firing both at the Death Star and Maus. The friendly E-100 fired a shot at the 183, crippling it's engine and reduced it's health for a good 600-700+ points of damage. This is enough for the friendly T92 to fire it's HE shell, killing one of the most dangerous tanks in the game. This only leaves the Maus, who still have 2,500 HP, still a whole lot. However, since he doesn't have any friends left in this spot and the fact that he his one of the three remaining survivors in his team, he has to retreat with his frontal armor facing his enemies. But it was no use, as all four fired at him, and in a few decisive shots it was killed instantly, including his compatriots. As the ponies watched, the tanks stopped, and they disappear instantly, leaving nothing behind. Although relieved that it was over, there was one question: "Where is the princess when this ordeal happened?"
